8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

The Vision:
There can be no true peace, where there is not true grace; and where grace goeth before, peace will follow. This blessing is in the name of God, of the Holy Trinity, it is an act of adoration. The Father is first named; he is described as the Jehovah who is, and who was, and who is to come, eternal, unchangeable. The Holy Spirit is called the seven spirits, the perfect Spirit of God, in whom there is a diversity of gifts and operations. The Lord Jesus Christ was from eternity, a Witness to all the counsels of God. He is the First-born from the dead, who will by his own power raise up his people. He is the Prince of the kings of the earth; by him their counsels are overruled, and to him they are accountable. Sin leaves a stain of guilt and pollution upon the soul. Nothing can fetch out this stain but the blood of Christ; and Christ shed his own blood to satisfy Divine justice, and purchase pardon and purity for his people. Christ has made believers kings and priests to God and his Father. As such they overcome the world, mortify sin, govern their own spirits, resist Satan, prevail with God in prayer, and shall judge the world. He has made them priests, given them access to God, enabled them to offer spiritual and acceptable sacrifices, and for these favours they are bound to ascribe to him dominion and glory for ever. He will judge the world. Attention is called to that great day when all will see the wisdom and happiness of the friends of Christ, and the madness and misery of his enemies. Let us think frequently upon the second coming of Christ. He shall come, to the terror of those who wound and crucify him by apostacy: he shall come, to the astonishment of the whole world of the ungodly. He is the Beginning and the End; all things are from him and for him; he is the Almighty; the same eternal and unchanged One. And if we would be numbered with his saints in glory everlasting, we must now willing submit to him receive him, and honour him as a saviour, who we believe will come to be our Judge. Alas, that there should be many, who would wish never to die, and that there should not be a day of judgment! (Rev 1:9-11)

I Am A Livng Stone : Dear Precious Heavenly Father, You are the Alpha & Omega to those of us whom know you by your Holy Ghost Spirit that shines down inside of us as we believe in You For Your Word is of You . Father, We have come before You to share some things to You that's inside of our hearts as we bow before you precious Lord Jesus Christ this day in bowing before you with our hearts opened wide to come deepy of which is truths as You already know them today. We have put away all malice, and guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and slanders, as a newborn baby, We desire to grow more into maturity because of wanting more of You for we surely have tasted and know just how good you are in our lives. We are coming to you whom is our living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and so very precious. We also am a living stone, that's being built into a spiritual house, a holy preiesthood, to offer up our own spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to You God, through Your son Jesus Christ. As it states in our Holy Scriptures,

" Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on Him shall not be confounded" Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.( 1 Peter 2:6,7,8) But we belong to a very chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, one of God's own people; that we should proclaim the praises of Him whom has called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. In past times I was not a "people". In past times I had not obtained mercy bit now I obtained mercy. I am but a stranger and pilgrim in this world, therefore I abstain from all fleshly lust, which wars against my own soul. I live like a re-semblance of Jesus Christ in my own life, in living life totally around those whom don't truly believe in You Father God, Your only Son Jesus Christ as many people do whom are your remnants watching and waiting to come in which is truly in your own time . So those whom truly speak against us as evil doers, they see our good works and we will glorify our God daily as we wait for your return. We submit our self unto you and every human authority for our Lord's sake: whether it be the king supreme, or to governors, for they are sent by You God for the punishment of all evil doers, and for the praise of them that do well before you. For so it is God's will, that by doing right I may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. We live as a free person but I do not use my own liberty for a cloak of evil, but as a servant of God. I honor all men, I love the fellowship of our brothers and sister. I fear God. I honor goverment leaders. I am subject to my employers with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also the over-bearing. For what glory is it, if, when I am punished for my faults, I take it patiently? If I do what is right, and suffer for it and take it patiently; this is acceptable unto our God. For this I was called, because Jesus Christ suffered for me. He left me an example, that I should follow His steps. He did No sin, neither No guile found in His mouth. Yet, when He suffered, He did Not threatened, but committed Himself to the Father who judges righteously. Who in His own self bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I being dead to sins, should live a righteous life. By His stripes I am healed ( Isa. 53:5). For I was like a sheep that had gone astray; but now I have returned to the Shepard and Overseer of my soul. For only Jesus Christ Now we have hope for our present and our future. Love one another from our hearts fevently: having been born again, not with a corruptible seed but of being born again, not of incorruptible seed, theough the Word of God, which lives and always remains forever ( 1 Peter1:22,23). Amen.

Revelations

Revelations : Author: The Apostle Date Written : Between A.D. 90 and 96 TITLE: This book is so named because it is : Revelation" of Jesus Christ is given to the " Apostle John. It is called the " Apocalypse" which means " Revelation " or "Unveiling". Bacground : Apostle John is exiled by the Roman goverment to Patmos, a small island off the coast of greece, for preaching the Word of God. His exile is only part of the entense period of persecution against the church, which follows the Roman emperor Domitian's proclamation that he be worshiped as a deity. While on Patmos, John receives about Jesus Christ from God the Father. An angle helps John to understand the vision. Whereas the first book of the Bible - Gensis - tells of the first beginning of sin and satan's truimph the last of the book of the Bible - the Revelation - tells of sin's and satan's defeat. A special blessing is promised to all who read, hear and obey this book. But also a special curse is promised to those whom add or take away from these words, John also wrote the 4th. Revelation 1

1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
2. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3. Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand.
4. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
5. And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
7. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

   This book is the Revelation of Jesus Christ; the whole Bible is so; for all revelation comes through Christ, and all relates to him. Its principal subject is to discover the purposes of God concerning the affairs of the church, and of the nations as connected therewith, to the end of the world. These events would surely come to pass; and they would begin to come to pass very shortly. Though Christ is himself God, and has light and life in himself, yet, as Mediator between God and man, he receives instructions from the Father. To him we owe the knowledge of what we are to expect from God, and what he expects from us. The subject of this revelation was, the things that must shortly come to pass. On all who read or hear the words of the prophecy, a blessing is pronounced. Those are well employed who search the Bible. It is not enough that we read and hear, but we must keep the things that are written, in our memories, in our minds, in our affections, and in practice, and we shall be blessed in the deed. Even the mysteries and difficulties of this book are united with discoveries of God, suited to impress the mind with awe, and to purify the soul of the reader, though he may not discern the prophetic meaning. No part of Scripture more fully states the gospel, and warns against the evil of sin.

Our God Is With Us

The Lord is in the midst of thee. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in his sight. We made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. I refuse to relinquish anything to the enemy of my soul. I embrace You and the lessons I have learned. You are faithful and good to me each and every day. I lift up my head and focus on You. Let the Wind of Your Spirit blow through my life this very moment. The rattling of the enemy grows fainter and fainter as I speak the precious name, “Jesus.” Your Spirit, Your Word, and Your Truth surge through me, bringing the necessary nutrients for this season of my life. I am a tree planted deep in You. Help me to appropriate the grace available to walk out the thoughts and intents of Your heart. Open the eyes of my heart to Your perspective. My innermost self reaches out to meet You, to respond to You. Your gracious forgiveness flows through me as I give myself to Your precious administrations of ravishing delight. I lay down the busyness of my life to be with You. O, how I have missed You. Pour into the pool of my life, into the deep places of my longing, that I may hear the whispers of Your heart. Show me unsearchable things I know not. I love You because of who You are, not because of what You have done for me. Let tenderness cultivate me. Form me as Your kindness leads me. As I lay my head upon the pillow at night, make me aware of Your hovering presence that I may arise at dawn with the dew of Your name upon my lips. As I sit here, ravished by Your presence, speak, for I am listening. Time with You makes it possible to walk in the Spirit. Show me all the little foxes running through my thoughts. I confess You as my high tower and ever-present help in time of trouble. I open my heart up for support, refreshment, and strength. Lord, I love You as my dearest friend and accept these words of instruction and encouragement today. I submit to You in humility of sacrificial praise and obedience. Come, Holy Spirit, and fill me to running over with goodness, mercy, and power to overcome. I receive all things, with a heart of rejoicing, that my joy might be full. Lord, I agree with You and stretch my wings. The very essence of who You made me to be is awakening like the rising of the dawn. This is a new day, and I embrace it. I give You all my excuses. I lay aside every hindrance. I receive restoration of all things stolen from me. Keep my heart ever close to You. Let me feel the movement of Your wind beneath my wings as I fly into my purpose and destiny. The reproach of men has fallen away, and Your favor is upon me this day -- each and every day of my life. I will take the sweetness deposited in me, sharing it with those who are still sleeping. Fill me, enable me, comfort me, and I will do likewise ( 2 Cor.1:4)I am Your beautiful butterfly. My heart sings at Your words. I thank You for working in this circumstance and for the valuable lessons I have learned. As I look up at the heavens, I can sense Your smile over my life. All that the enemy meant for discouragement, You have turned into encouragement. Where I have thought evil in this circumstance, I ask for forgiveness, and I choose to speak blessing. Thank you for drawing me closer to Your heart of love. I receive mercy and grace in my time of need. You are faithful, loving, and true. I anticipate the abundant harvest arising out of my obedience to Your instructions. I rest under Your covering of intimate affection, receiving, and giving love. I love you. Amen.

Lord, I receive Your great mercies as I trust in Your faithfulness, Your goodness. You are the delight of my soul in the land of the living. I surrender all my circumstances this day into Your capable hands. I confess my tendency to let my circumstances prevail, therefore, robbing my joy and hope. Jesus, You are my Hope, my Strong Tower, my Deliverer in whom I trust. Thank You for giving Your life that I might live and have abundant life, not a hopeless one. I give myself to Your encouragement.


I am Yours, and You are mine, and my heart is filled with love for You today. Help me to be ever mindful of Your declarations over me. Forgive me for not resting in this place of security. Help me to remember that everything I do is done under the auspice of Your unchanging, never failing love. I give my heart to the tender songs of love You create in me. I raise the banner of our relationship, anchored in Jesus for all to see. I will proclaim Your love to others as it has been proclaimed to me. My whole desire is for you. Servant of God

The Gospel : 1PAUL, A bond servant of God and an apostle (a special messenger) of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) to stimulate and promote the faith of God's chosen ones and to lead them on to accurate discernment and recognition of and acquaintance with the Truth which belongs to and harmonizes with and tends to godliness,

2[Resting] in the hope of eternal life, [life] which the ever truthful God Who cannot deceive promised before the world or the ages of time began.

3And [now] in His own appointed time He has made manifest (made known) His Word and revealed it as His message through the preaching entrusted to me by command of God our Savior;

4To Titus, my true child according to a common (general) faith: Grace (favor and spiritual blessing) and [heart] peace from God the Father and the Lord Christ Jesus our Savior.

5For this reason I left you [behind] in Crete, that you might set right what was defective and finish what was left undone, and that you might appoint elders and set them over the churches (assemblies) in every city as I directed you.

6[These elders should be] men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable, the husband of [but] one wife, whose children are [well trained and are] believers, not open to the accusation of being loose in morals and conduct or unruly and disorderly.

7For the bishop (an overseer) as God's steward must be blameless, not self-willed or arrogant or presumptuous; he must not be quick-tempered or given to drink or pugnacious (brawling, violent); he must not be grasping and greedy for filthy lucre (financial gain);

8But he must be hospitable (loving and a friend to believers, especially to strangers and foreigners); [he must be] a lover of goodness [of good people and good things], sober-minded (sensible, discreet), upright and fair-minded, a devout man and religiously correct, temperate and keeping himself in hand.

9He must hold fast to the sure and trustworthy Word of God as he was taught it, so that he may be able both to give stimulating instruction and encouragement in sound (wholesome) doctrine and to refute and convict those who contradict and oppose it [showing the wayward their error].

10For there are many disorderly and unruly men who are idle (vain, empty) and misleading talkers and self-deceivers and deceivers of others. [This is true] especially of those of the circumcision party [who have come over from Judaism].

11Their mouths must be stopped, for they are mentally distressing and subverting whole families by teaching what they ought not to teach, for the purpose of getting base advantage and disreputable gain.

12One of their [very] number, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, hurtful beasts, idle and lazy gluttons.

13And this account of them is [really] true. Because it is [true], rebuke them sharply [deal sternly, even severely with them], so that they may be sound in the faith and free from error,

14[And may show their soundness by] ceasing to give attention to Jewish myths and fables or to rules [laid down] by [mere] men who reject and turn their backs on the Truth.

15To the pure [in heart and conscience] all things are pure, but to the defiled and corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are defiled and polluted.

16They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.

Insights In The Readings: The blessing of God's " Grace" Which our Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ is for us very great news! This is especially true because God offers it to us freely even though we just don't deserve it. The good news goes way beyond God's offer to pay for our sins; our God seeks transforms us so that we can live day by day with the reality of His power inside us. We don't need to be afraid as we come before God, regardless of our sinful past or our failures. Our realtionship with God is not based on our success at following His laws. It is based on His precious provisions for the forgivness of our sins - Jesus Christ. As we entrust our lives unto Him, he forgives us and empowers ua to live accordingly to His perfect will. This give us a special idenity with Him We give Him our dreams, goals, that will be valued alway's in God Himself to lead us more deeply in one's expressions as we intended to be a vital piece of God's ministry in those satisfaction and peace in all ways we totally value life. God lays down our identifies everyone in return that bless whom are the recipient for they are compassionate, committed, faithful unto service - Slave to a master in one's own submission to the will of God as we serve him in our lives daily. By being focused of one's own purpose, salvation and spiritual growth of all others whom He sends unto us in all hope in one's having been developed in spiritual maturity in Jesus Christ. So all will have a sovereign choice and preservation of a people before our God. We whom have the calling in sharing the Gospel in us belonging to God. In which truth abounds of it's truths, rational decisions about the Gospel. Some have been in the ministry and have had false teachers which does lead to all ungodlessness, in turn we ought to see if they are really geniune in being balanced life whom had correction of orderly knowledge of God in every single part of a person own life. In planting seeds of faith, strong and mature, hopeful fruitful christian in having an eternal life . Being grounded in God's Promises not on human promises that fails us as being human beings. God just cannot lie ! God's word is manifested and appointed sesons and time period in what God does by His manifiestation in some way as we preach His word unto othersof Jesus Christ's birth and resurrection in the simplicity of it in Jesus Christ coming up out of the grave, historical events, appeararances which entails our rock solid bedrock for every one of us in Jesus Christ has already given the world His proof in everything that is very true.God provides all of our provisions and inner stability and what comes with it is His blessings in one's own reliances upon Jesus Christ in giving us strength and peace for our tasks in being in Him. The Sword Of The Spirit Which Is The Word Of God

Proverbs 30:10 (KJV): Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty. Proverbs 30:10 (AMP): Do not accuse and hurt a servant before his master, lest he curse you, and you be held guilty (of adding to the burdens of the lowly).

Thoughts for the Day This verse from Proverbs tells us not to falsely accuse or scold another man's servant, as the servant's owner will curse you for adding to the burdens of the lowly. A curse in the Bible is referring to speaking negatively or evil about, or against, someone. A good master will protect his servants against those who would try to accuse or abuse them without cause. This would apply to an employer and employee relationship as well. A good boss will always protect his faithful employees. This verse is not referring to a wicked servant or employee, as one like that should be reprimanded. However, anyone who would reproach another man's employee because of their own faulty character, the employer should stick up for that employee. This happens many times when a customer is impatient with regard to their service or disgruntled about some merchandise. Instead of being respectful about discussing the situation or the faulty product, customers sometimes get angry and yell at and berate the one who is trying to help them. A boss, in this case, many find the customer guilty of an attitude problem, instead of his employee or servant being at fault. We are also told to especially honor our elders, widows, our masters (bosses), our parents, and people in authority who rule over us. 1 Timothy 5:17: Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1 Timothy 5:1-3: 1 Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 3 Honour widows that are widows indeed. 1 Timothy 6:1-2: 1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. Matthew 19:19: Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Romans 13:1-7: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You for all the things You have done for me, but I honor You, for Who You are, my Lord and King. May I always show respect for the whole family of God, as I know that is one way I can honor You. Help me to be sensitive and respectful to all people, no matter what position they hold. Lord, deliver Your people from all prejudice and disrespect for one another. May we obey Your Word that tells us to prefer and honor one another, as brothers and sisters in the Lord. I'm waving at this group in my appreciation of blessed fellowship being united in Jesus Christ with those solid prayers moving around the globe! As we all savouring each moment in that different ways in ot running ahead in some form of anticipation of all those rays of happiness as we all live in a moment, to savour for what it's worth by not lagging behind in one's own paralysis of our past. But with sensitivity we must live in the here and now. "But if we don't like the here and now?" You ask. " What if my present moment is one of dissapointment or imparement or heartacke? How do I savior the moment?" Good questions. And the answer reside in the first and most profound principle for the art of savouring life. Pleasures lies in the heart, not in happenstance. Our circumstances may be very dreadful and riddled with reasons for discouragement or sorrow, but that doesn't mean those moments are utterly devoid of happiness.... Those special moments of fun, reflection, happiness, and pleasure give us a very tiny taste of what eternity with Jesus Christ will be like one day. All Professions of Faith Are In Vain, If Not Producing Love or Justice To Others: These are some thoughts that I've have had an in all Hope to bring it's own biblical truths unto every human being sd we forge ahead in bettering those things for then knowing just how much "Grace and Mercy " does abound for all that loves our Lord. We out to consider things that does point out which has said : to discriminate is to sin. Here such congreation is on trial for discrimination, particular the ushers. There behavior is an extreme example of how " Faith without works " operates with out cause it excludes people on the basis of social standards ( Standing) , rather than welcoming into the household of God. Apostle Paul had seen a very simliar case he affirmed that in Jesus Christ, " We are All one: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male or female: for ye are All one in Christ Jesus . { Gal.3:28}. [No Ethnic's here at all]. It takes time to develop character like that. But God is interested in a long term growth, not just a quick fix to this kind of a problem. We may need to slow down and take a very hard good look at the direction of our lives. If we are driven to gain much as we can then were headed for much trouble that going down to it's own roots of destruction. Consider this to: Contless of laws and legal battles have been and continue to be fought over civil rights and the effort of to end and discrimination. James calls on the ultimate law, the"Royal Law" { James 2:8}, to speak out against discrimination in the one place it ought least to exist - the church. He very specifically condemns favoritism toward the rich and descrimination against the poor. We believers discriminate on the basis of socloeconomic status, they violate the very core of God's law. Yet it happens all the time, doesn't it? How about where You work, or in your church or community? Are only the wealthy considered likely candidates for church leadership? How do You or I respond to customers at work, visitors at church,or shoppers at a grocery store whom look," down and out"? On the other hand, does James's stern warning against favoring the rich dishonoring the poor imply that we should favor the and dishonor the rich? Do You ever practice " reverse discrimination "? Do Your church condemn wealthy people for their wealth? Do You assume that someone who has riches gained by them dishonesty or oppression, rather than by honest work and service? James says that favoritism is as much a trangression of the law of adultery or murder (James 2:10,11). Consider this: James notes the tension between wealth and faith (James 2:5,6), None of us are exempt from the distracting and distorting effect of growing influence. God does Not condemn wealth, but He clearly warns us that we can't pursue God and trust in it and also pursue God in His faithfulness ( Matt. 6:24-34). Those of us who have wealth might consider severl tough questions: (1.) What plans do we have for giving money away? Are we giving more in the name of God now than last year or the year before? (2.) What is our intention - to move to an even higher level of luxury, ot to hold steady where we are, or even simplify our life style and give away the excess? (3.) Can we name any ways in which our increased wealth has brought us closer to God?

Insights: I don't know about the rest of You but those are hard to answer but in all honesty it's did awaken me not only now but had think back to when I had first thought about those question to my self and had taken out sheets of paper to see what my own answers are and to learn to change it in my own life in walking in God. Alot of those answers was a miss in my own personal life and had asked people to help me turn it around for the betterment of my life on a daily basis. I Thank God for those people today whom helped see those truths and little by little it's changed. I had to learn to accept all things in my own life that kept me distracted from God and other people in this world that I had to come clean on so I could move differently in life and surrendering to God in repentence, forgivness over all of those things that was inside of me. So I could be drawing so much nearer to God in all of my hopes in having such a tanagable results of my beliefs so He will reward me one day, even though I may not see it while living but upon my death. I'm not sure how our God will do it all I know it's him I'm after Him whole- heartedly until he comes for me or the rest of the believers in His time. Today I don't have any riches like our wealthy folks have in this world today, but All of my riches are in Jesus Christ today. He has truly given me more blessings than I can count looking all around me with out spending a penny, or dollars and cents. In which I'm eternally grateful for today. Oh, I know what it's like living on those monthly checks but He carries me through like I've never ever seen when I did work and earn money. He's done things for us that some of the people wouldn't even believe ( Most likely they don't ) But God and our family does and a few close friends whom have seen it happen for us beyond measure to them. He fed us, given us a car, had given us money to pay our over-due bills and had led me to doctors that helped me with physcial problems. He even brought back from death to life, had people to teach me how to talk, and re-learned how to walk, and then how to function again in society. And someone came in at our churchand left money for us then they had called us and shared with us that there was Money left there for us to use in helping us when we needed it most in our life. It wasn't easy and it was tough, cried alot, prayed and He lead me to victory and I learned to worship and praise him through it all by some brothers and sisters in the Lord in the endeavors like I've never had done before in my own personal life. Oh I hated people whom had sources that I didn't have at different times and learned to change that entire thinking but He carried me through of which He's God and He's powerful enough, to help me see just how much He truely means it for us. My family saw it and witnessed it, just as our church folk's had done too . He's aweome to say the least! But yet I learned whom is most important inside of myself and believe me it wasn't Me any longer it was Jesus Christ in everything I do today. At least I do my best when it seems to be No way. Yes, I stuggle to keep me focused but at times I'm attacked and my thoughts go heavy but I must remember whom is in charge and full control and it God for me to "Let it go" and allow him to do what's best for me in my life. I'm not perfect, but God is and I rely on him through it all. He's alway's the one whom has my claim for He's shown me and put those paths that fully secure and He keeps me stay straight on His chosen paths for me to follow and that often times get's crocked but eventuall I find that path so He will be my sheapard whom leads me where I need to go for a better tomorrows that sustains me as He and I travel together. Thank You Jesus Christ for taking me those of which I had No idea of where I was heading but You alway's know what's best for Me. I alway's want You to lead because when I do I fall very badly and You pick Me up and off we go together which never ceases and I'm so very greatful and praise you with all that's within me. Halellujah ! To the Lamb of God! Blessed Be Your Name which is above all names of this earth whom came and saved a wretched person that I am, but had taken me and molded me as Your vessel in such a brighter place to be in You.

Dear Precious Heavenly Father; Father, You have given everyone an determined assignment that all of us are to be Faithful partners and that You will act accordingly to our prayers. The same goes for those folk's with those same values as them Father. We not only hear it but it's totally shown by the way they lives their lives and then detest your people by saying we are in wrong by bashing what we stand for in You Jesus and all biblical truths that you have laid before us all. Father God, we have hurts in our country in knowing what this country is that this country had laid before them in fighting wars in different nations what's suppose to be about freedom that others had brought unto us by force of what those countries believe in so very strong, but we know the only truth is being in You and those most Holy Scriptures that's called " The Bible" that we hold to be very true within us whom believe it from cover to cover with out missing any heart beats of it. Father we have valent men and women whom are very heavily in those wars today. They have families whom have been torn apart by them leaving home to know what they are fighting for not only in one self but as being part of this nation. help them to be up beat as they head for trouble at any given moment knowing all dangers are aound every single situations in You giving them Your protection under the showdows of your wings which is all of them being shielded and covered while in these wars as we unite in praying for every men and woman out in those battle field in every part of this world. Father, there are billions in this world whom have lost those dear loved one and have children that grieve with them and carry each one of through that very hard time to where they know it's you being with them at that time of needs, and help them to know deep within them in knowing you carry all of those heavy loads and deep concerns and to bring them out in deeping self unto you. And as they go through them in taking out all of those whom are under stoney hearts and minds and in return knowing those very deep truths down to the very core of their being in gaining insights of whom you are in each person in taking them with you in a growing natures of those hearts. In turning every single person around to have that depth of salvation that shines before them in all that you have given in your sanctification, grace, mercy, love that's beyond them as a people themselves. rain down on them each and everyone by Your Holy Spirit and allow them to know your with them in that divine care. We pray for the divine unity in behalf of Iraq in all of those there whom love you and are devoted to you in bringing them out of despire in knowing that your there while coming together in having you in the midst of it all in showing -up in your divine interuption in helping them to attain in those intellectual understanding, knowledge, truths in totally experiencing the true God, all realities of whom you are mighty God, in turn in showing respect for our majesty in our God in having such a profond ethical knowledge of all spiritual matters that changes them that brings new insights that changes that nation as a whole that ppour out unto those other nations to see you Jesus Christ in forever changes them in all manner of thinking that bring all changes unto countless of lives and families in this world. Sin only distorts things in all peoples whom are in it and very strongly in the pursuit of it. That's what needs to be bought out and crushed before you in making that differences in which brings about change in such a difference in many, many lives today. Give all of those people Your mind and will unto them to see your truths in them in those nations and to destroy, crush those lies straight out of those pits of hell it will and can be done only by your power and might because you are our God as you finish all jobs that concerns you and your children in whom love you in obedience for your hands can bring fourth as you stand beore us like we are your candle sticks as your eyes moves to and fro in seeing what will take place before us because you uphold your children before you. As you have given us the answers in out- witting and overcoming all those that appose you in all wars for there in helping them to attain freedom so they can livie in harmony and to shut those doors that oppose it and back off from you. The Colors of Advent The Spirit of Advent Evergreens and The Advent Wreath Celebrating Advent An Advent Reflection
Advent is the beginning of the Church Year for most churches in the Western tradition. It begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day, which is the Sunday nearest November 30, and ends on Christmas Eve (Dec 24). If Christmas Eve is a Sunday, it is counted as the fourth Sunday of Advent, with Christmas Eve proper beginning at sundown.
The Colors of AdventHistorically, the primary sanctuary color of Advent is Purple. This is the color of penitence and fasting as well as the color of royalty to welcome the Advent of the King. Purple is still used in Catholic churches. The purple of Advent is also the color of suffering used during Lent and Holy Week. This points to an important connection between Jesus Christ's birth and death. The nativity, the Incarnation, cannot be separated from the crucifixion. The purpose of Jesus¢ coming into the world, of the "Word made flesh" and dwelling among us, is to reveal God and His grace to the world through Jesus¢ life and teaching, but also through his
suffering, death, and resurrection. To reflect this emphasis, originally Advent was a time of penitence and fasting, much as the Season of Lent and so shared the color of Lent.
In the four weeks of Advent the third Sunday came to be a time of rejoicing that the fasting was almost over (in some traditions it is called Gaudete Sunday, from the Latin word for "rejoice"). The shift from the purple of the Season to pink or rose for the third Sunday Advent
candles reflected this lessening emphasis on penitence as attention turned more to celebration of the season.
In recent times, however, Advent has undergone a shift in emphasis, reflected in a change of colors used in many churches. Except in the Eastern churches, the penitential aspect of the Season has been almost totally replaced by an emphasis on hope and anticipation.
In many churches the third Sunday remains the Sunday of Joy marked by pink or rose. However, most Protestant churches now use blue to distinguish the Season of Advent from Lent. Royal Blue is sometimes used as a symbol of royalty. Some churches use Bright Blue to symbolize the night sky, the anticipation of the impending announcement of the King¢s
coming, or to symbolize the waters of Genesis 1, the beginning of a new creation. Some churches, including some Catholic churches, use blue violet to preserve the traditional use of purple while providing a visual distinction between the purple or red violet of Lent.
With the shift to blue for Advent in most non-Catholic churches, there
is also a tendency to move pink to the Fourth Sunday of Advent. It
still remains associated with Joy, but is increasingly used as the climax
of the Advent Season on the last Sunday before Christmas.
Red and Green are more secular colors of Christmas. Although they
derive from older European practices of using evergreens and holly to
symbolize ongoing life and hope that Christ¢s birth brings into a cold world,
they are not used as liturgical colors during Advent since they have
other uses in other parts of the church year (see Colors of the Church
Year).
The word Advent means "coming" or "arrival." The focus of the entire season is the celebration of the birth of Jesus the Christ in his First Advent, and the anticipation of the return of Christ the King in his Second Advent. Thus, Advent is far more than simply marking a 2,000 year
old event in history. It is celebrating a truth about God, the revelation of God in Christ whereby all of creation might be reconciled to God.
That is a process in which we now participate, and the consummation of which we anticipate. Scripture reading for Advent will reflect this emphasis on the Second Advent, including themes of accountability for faithfulness at His coming, judgment on sin, and the hope of eternal life.
In this double focus on past and future, Advent also symbolizes the spiritual journey of individuals and a congregation, as they affirm that Christ has come, that He is present in the world today, and that He will come again in power. That acknowledgment provides a basis for Kingdom ethics, for holy living arising from a profound sense that we live
"between the times" and are called to be faithful stewards of what is entrusted to us as God¢s people. So, as the church celebrates God's inbreaking into history in the Incarnation, and anticipates a future consummation to that history for which "all creation is groaning awaiting its
redemption," it also confesses its own responsibility as a people commissioned to "love the Lord your God with all your heart" and to "love your neighbor as yourself."
The Spirit of Advent
Advent is marked by a spirit of expectation, of anticipation, of
preparation, of longing. There is a yearning for deliverance from the evils
of the world, first expressed by Israelite slaves in Egypt as they cried
out from their bitter oppression. It is the cry of those who have
experienced the tyranny of injustice in a world under the curse of sin, and
yet who have hope of deliverance by a God who has heard the cries of
oppressed slaves and brought deliverance!
It is that hope, however faint at times, and that God, however distant
He sometimes seems, which brings to the world the anticipation of a
King who will rule with truth and justice and righteousness over His
people and in His creation. It is that hope that once anticipated, and now
anticipates anew, the reign of an Anointed One, a Messiah, who will
bring peace and justice and righteousness to the world.
Part of the expectation also anticipates a judgment on sin and a
calling of the world to accountability before God. We long for God to come
and set the world right! Yet, as the prophet Amos warned, the expectation
of a coming judgment at the "Day of the Lord" may not be the day of
light that we might want, because the penetrating light of God¢s judgment
on sin will shine just as brightly on God¢s people.
Because of this important truth, especially in the Eastern Orthodox
Churches, the Season of Advent has been a time of fasting and penitence
for sins similar to the Season of Lent. However, a different emphasis for
the season of Advent has gradually unfolded in much of the rest of the
church. The season of Advent has come to be celebrated more in terms of
expectation or anticipation. Yet, the anticipation of the Coming of the
Messiah throughout the Old Testament and Judaism was not in connection
with remembrance of sins. Rather, it was in the context of oppression
and injustice, the longing for redemption, not from personal guilt and
sin but from the systemic evil of the world expressed in evil empires
and tyrants. It is in that sense that all creation groans for its
redemption as we witness the evil that so dominates our world (Rom 8:18-25).
Of course, there is the problem of longing for vindication from an evil
world when we are contributors to that evil. This is the power of the
images of Amos when he warns about longing for the "Day of the Lord"
that will really be a day of darkness (Amos 5:18-20). Still, even with
Amos¢ warning the time of Advent is one of expectation and anticipation, a
longing for God's actions to restore all things and vindicate the
righteous. This is why during Advent we as Christians also anticipate the
Second Coming as a twin theme of the season. So, while some church
traditions focus on penitence during Advent, the spirit of that expectation
from the Old Testament is better captured with a joyous sense of
expectancy. Rather than a time of mourning and fasting, Advent is celebrated
as a time of joy and happiness as we await the coming of the King. (see

There will be time enough during the rest of the journey through the
Church Year to remember our sins. It begins in Epiphany when we hear
about the brotherhood of the Kingdom, and realize our failure to effect it.
Then as we move toward and through Lent we realize that the coming of
Jesus served more to lay bare our own sin than it did to vindicate our
righteousness. There will be time to shed Peter's bitter tears as we
realize that what started with such possibility and expectation has
apparently ended in such failure.
It is only as we experience that full cycle, beginning with unbridled
joy in Advent that slowly fades into the realization of what we have
done with and to the Christ, that the awful reality of Good Friday can
have its full impact. And in that realization we can finally be ready to
hear the Good News on Resurrection Sunday! That is the journey that the
disciples took. And so there is value in taking the same journey
beginning with the anticipation and joy of Advent!
So, we celebrate with gladness the great promise in the Advent, yet
knowing that there is also a somber tone as the theme of threat is added
to the theme of promise. This is reflected in some of the Scripture
readings for Advent, in which there is a strong prophetic tone of
accountability and judgment on sin. But this is also faithful to the role of the
Coming King who comes to rule, save, and judge the world.
Because of the dual themes of threat and promise, Advent is a time of
preparation that is marked by prayer. While Lent is characterized by
fasting and a spirit of penitence, Advent¢s prayers are prayers of humble
devotion and commitment, prayers of submission, prayers for
deliverance, prayers from those walking in darkness who are awaiting and
anticipating a great light (Isa 9)!
The spirit of Advent is expressed well in the parable of the
bridesmaids who are anxiously awaiting the coming of the Bridegroom (Matt
25:1-13). There is profound joy at the Bridegroom¢s expected coming. And yet a
warning of the need for preparation echoes through the parable. But
even then, the prayer of Advent is still:
Come, O Come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel!
Evergreens and The Advent Wreath
The beginning of Advent is a time for the hanging of the green,
decoration of the church with evergreen wreaths, boughs, or trees that help to
symbolize the new and everlasting life brought through Jesus the
Christ. Some churches have a special weekday service, or the first Sunday
evening of Advent, or even the first Sunday morning of Advent, in which
the church is decorated and the Advent wreath put in place. This service
is most often primarily of music, especially choir and hand bells, and
Scripture reading, along with an explanation of the various symbols as
they are placed in the sanctuary.
The Advent wreath is an increasingly popular symbol of the beginning of
the Church year in many churches as well as homes. It is a circular
evergreen wreath (real or artificial) with five candles, four around the
wreath and one in the center. Since the wreath is symbolic and a vehicle
to tell the Christmas story, there are various ways to understand the
symbolism. The exact meaning given to the various aspects of the wreath
is not as important as the story to which it invites us to listen, and
participate.
The circle of the wreath reminds us of God Himself, His eternity and
endless mercy, which has no beginning or end. The green of the wreath
speaks of the hope that we have in God, the hope of newness, of renewal,
of eternal life. Candles symbolize the light of God coming into the
world through the birth of His son. The four outer candles represent the
period of waiting during the four Sundays of Advent, which themselves
symbolize the four centuries of waiting between the prophet Malachi and
the birth of Christ.
The colors of the candles vary with different traditions, but there are
usually three purple or blue candles, corresponding to the sanctuary
colors of Advent, and one pink or rose candle. One of the purple candles
is lighted the first Sunday of Advent, a Scripture is read, a short
devotional or reading is given, and a prayer offered. On subsequent
Sundays, previous candles are relighted with an additional one lighted. The
pink candle is usually lighted on the third Sunday of Advent. However,
different churches or traditions light the pink candle on different
Sundays depending on the symbolism used (see above on Colors of Advent).
In Churches that use a Service of the Nativity, it is often lighted on
the fourth Sunday of Advent, the final Sunday before Christmas.
The light of the candles itself becomes an important symbol of the
season. The light reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world that
comes into the darkness of our lives to bring newness, life, and hope. It
also reminds us that we are called to be a light to the world as we
reflect the light of God's grace to others (Isa 42:6). The progression in
the lighting of the candles symbolizes the various aspects of our
waiting experience. As the candles are lighted over the four week period, it
also symbolizes the darkness of fear and hopelessness receding and the
shadows of sin falling away as more and more light is shed into the
world. The flame of each new candle reminds the worshippers that something
is happening, and that more is yet to come. Finally, the light that has
come into the world is plainly visible as the Christ candle is lighted
at Christmas, and worshippers rejoice over the fact that the promise of
long ago has been realized.
The first candle is traditionally the candle of Expectation or Hope (or
in some traditions, Prophecy). This draws attention to the anticipation
of the coming of a Messiah that weaves its way like a golden thread
through Old Testament history. As God¢s people were abused by power hungry
kings, led astray by self-centered prophets, and lulled into apathy by
half-hearted religious leaders, there arose a longing among some for
God to raise up a new king who could show them how to be God¢s people.
They yearned for a return of God¢s dynamic presence in their midst.
And so, God revealed to some of the prophets that indeed He would not
leave His people without a true Shepherd. While they expected a new
earthly king, their expectations fell far short of God¢s revelation of
Himself in Christ. And yet, the world is not yet fully redeemed. So, we
again with expectation, with hope, await God's new work in history, the
second Advent, in which He will again reveal Himself to the world. And
we understand in a profound sense that the best, the highest of our
expectations will fall far short of what our Lord¢s Second Advent will
reveal!
The remaining three candles of Advent may be associated with different
aspects of the Advent story in different churches, or even in different
years. Usually they are organized around characters or themes as a way
to unfold the story and direct attention to the celebrations and
worship in the season. So, the sequence for the remaining three Sundays might
be Bethlehem, Shepherds, Angels. Or Peace, Love, Joy. Or John the
Baptist, the Magi, Mary. Or the Annunciation, Proclamation, Fulfillment.
Whatever sequence is used, the Scripture readings, prayers, lighting of
the candles, the participation of worshipers in the service, all are
geared to telling the story of redemption through God¢s grace in the
Incarnation.
The third candle, usually for the Third Sunday of Advent, is traditionally Pink or Rose, and symbolizes Joy at the soon Advent of the Christ.
Sometimes the colors of the sanctuary and vestments are also changed to Rose for this Sunday. However, as noted above, increasingly in many churches, the pink Advent candle is used on the fourth Sunday to mark the joy at the impending Nativity of Jesus.
Whatever sequence is adopted for these Sundays, the theme of Joy can
still be the focus for the pink candle. For example, when using the third
Sunday to commemorate the visit of the Magi the focus can be on the Joy
of worshipping the new found King. Or the Shepherds as the symbol for
the third Sunday brings to mind the joy of the proclamation made to them
in the fields, and the adoration expressed as they knelt before the
Child at the manager. If used on the fourth Sunday of Advent, it can
symbolize the Joy in fulfilled hope.
The center candle is white and is called the Christ Candle. It is
traditionally lighted on Christmas Eve or Day. However, since many
Protestant churches do not have services on those days, many light it on the
Sunday preceding Christmas, with all five candles continuing to be
lighted in services through Epiphany (Jan 6). The central location of the
Christ Candle reminds us that the incarnation is the heart of the season,
giving light to the world.
Celebrating Advent
Advent is one of the few Christian festivals that can be observed in
the home as well as at church. With its association with Christmas,
Advent is a natural time to involve children in activities at home that
directly connect with worship at church. In the home an Advent wreath is
often placed on the dining table and lighted at meals, with Scripture
readings preceding the lighting of the candles, especially on Sunday. A
new candle is lighted each Sunday during the four weeks, and then the
same candles are lighted each meal during the week. In this context, it
provides the opportunity for family devotion and prayer together, and
helps teach the Faith to children, especially if they are involved in
reading the daily Scriptures.
It is common in many homes to try to mark the beginning of Advent in
other ways as well, for the same purpose of instruction in the faith.
Some families decorate the house for the beginning of Advent, or bake
special cookies or treats, or simply begin to use table coverings for
meals. An Advent Calendar is a way to keep children involved in the entire
season. There are a wide variety of Advent calendars, but usually they
are simply a card or poster with windows that can be opened, one each
day of Advent, to reveal some symbol or picture associated with the Old
Testament story leading up to the birth of Jesus. One unique and
specialized Advent calendar that can be used either in the home or the
sanctuary is a Jesse Tree. (We have available an online Advent calendar
with devotionals for each day of Advent as well as Christmas through
Epiphany Day: NazNet's Advent and Christmas Celebration). All of these
provide opportunities to teach children the significance of this
sacred time, and to remind ourselves of it as well.
In congregational worship, the Advent wreath is the central teaching
symbol of the season, the focal point for drawing the congregation into
the beginning of the story of redemption that will unfold throughout the
church year. For this reason, members of the congregation are often
involved in lighting the Advent candles and reading the appropriate
Scriptures each Sunday. While in some churches it is customary for this to
be done by families, it can also be an especially good opportunity to
demonstrate the unity of the entire community of Faith by including those
without families, such as those never married, divorced, widowed,
elderly who live by themselves, or college students away from home.
An Advent Reflection
It is truly a humbling experience to read back through the Old
Testament and see how frail and imperfect all the "heroes" actually are.
Abraham, the coward who cannot believe the promise. Jacob, the cheat who
struggles with everybody. Joseph, the immature and arrogant teen. Moses,
the impatient murderer who cannot wait for God. Gideon, the cowardly
Baal-worshipper. Samson, the womanizing drunk. David, the power abusing
adulterer. Solomon, the unwise wise man. Hezekiah, the reforming king who
could not quite go far enough. And finally, a very young Jewish girl
from a small village in a remote corner of a great empire.
It never ceases to amaze me why God could not have chosen "better"
people to do His work in the world. Yet if God can use them, and reveal
Himself through them in such marvelous ways, it means that He might be
able to use me, inadequate, and unwise, and too often lacking in faith
that I am. And it means that I need to be careful that I do not in my own
self-righteousness put limits on what God can do with the most unlikely
of people in the most unlikely of circumstances. I think that is part
of the wonder of the Advent Season.

"A VISION OF THE DOOR OF TRUTH"

"Get ready! We are about to behold the Lord's majesty and might in such a way that will shock us."


While waiting upon the Lord one day, I was ushered into a powerful
prophetic encounter. I was surrounded by numerous magnificent Heavenly
messengers, which quickly escorted me upward into the Heavenly realm in
front of a massive door.


I was stunned with its strength and beauty. This outstanding door was
compelling and alluring in the noblest fashion. Intuitively, I was
aware
that behind this door were divine treasures and wisdom beyond my
ability
to grasp.


Written across the entrance in bold letters of living fire were two
words, "Spirit" and "Truth." The colors contained in these flames were
beautiful beyond description. I was overwhelmed with the pull I sensed
within my soul. I longed to behold what was beyond the door.


"THE ONLY KEY TO THIS DOOR IS YOUR DEEP DESIRE TO WALK IN TRUTH."


My heart pounded so hard, that each beat shook my body. I knew I was
standing at a moment of great opportunity and that something amazing
was
about to be revealed.


I was simultaneously experiencing two opposite feelings--anticipat ion
and overwhelming expectation, along with holy fear and awe. The
Heavenly
hosts who escorted me, radiated might and tremendous power, however,
they were also exceptionally gentle and gracious. Their presence
comforted and reassured me.


In this place of awe, I couldn't muster the courage to ask, "Who has
the
key to such a significant door?" Even though I did not speak, one of
the
Heavenly hosts answered in a reassuring tone, "The only key to this
door
is your deep desire to walk in Truth."


When he said the word "Truth," I trembled knowing that this was much
more than mere head knowledge. He was speaking about Divine Truth.


The tone of his voice increased my deep desire to enter the room. He
continued, "To the truly hungry, this door is always open and
accessible." A deep sense of assurance and hope washed over me.


Jesus' promise in Matthew 5:6 rang in my heart. I could hardly wait for
the angel's next statement. Again his powerful yet reassuring voice
instructed me, "Extend your hand and touch the door." I touched the
handle and was stunned when the door quickly swung open.


We can be confident the Spirit of Truth is willing to aid us on our
quest for Light and Truth. In 2 Samuel 22:29, we discover this
tremendous promise, "For You art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will
lighten my darkness."


The Spirit of God will release the much-needed revelatory light if we
are willing to seek Him while He may be found (see Jeremiah 29:12).


We are in a season of revealed Truth. You have been given blessed and
highly favored eyes and ears, which are able to comprehend this
important truth. Matthew 13:16, "But blessed are your eyes, for they
see: and your ears, for they hear."


ENTERING IN WITH INTENSIFIED HUNGER


Following angelic instructions, I stepped inside. I was more than
surprised. I had expected to be blinded by brilliant, blazing, Heavenly
light, yet the room appeared almost completely dark. A small,
flickering
candle cast the faint light.


I intuitively knew that there was much more than what I could see with
my natural eyes. In spite of the dim atmosphere, this room contained
objects of immense worth--wisdom and knowledge on a level not yet
discovered by mankind.


Knowing this only intensified my desire to discover them. I was greatly
encouraged by the promise in Proverbs 25:2, "It is the glory of God to
conceal a matter and the honor of kings to search it out." It was my
desire to search out this matter.


God has given great, powerful promises to those who are spiritually
hungry and thirsty. God promises to pour out His Spirit like floods of
water in Isaiah 44:3-4, "For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,
and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your
descendants,
and My blessing on your offspring; They will spring up among the grass
like willows by the watercourses. "


Our heart's cry must be that of Psalm 42:1-2, " As the deer pants for
the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God," and Psalm 63:1, "O
God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My
flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water."
We too must hunger and thirst for God. Ask now for an intensified
hunger
for Him.


THE CANDLEHOLDER' S PRESENCE


"The holy reverential fear of the Lord was so strong, that I was afraid
to breathe."


My heart was overcome with divine hunger. I longed for the light! I
knew
I would need a great deal more light to reveal the hidden treasures. It
is in His light that we will see light.


The candle was in a beautiful candleholder fashioned from what appeared
to be the purest gold. Although the flickering flame was small, it was
the outstanding brilliance of the candlestick that drew my attention.


It was strong, yet graceful, and incredibly beautiful beyond
description. It appeared to be made of pure gold. Suddenly, I was aware
of the Lord's presence. It seemed the more I focused upon the
candlestick' s beauty, the more the room filled with His presence.


The whole atmosphere of the room was alive with Christ's presence, and
I
desired to see Him more than any treasure hidden there. It is in Him
that all the wisdom and treasures of God dwell. Colossians 2:3, "In
Whom
are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."


My heart trembled with awe and anticipation at His presence. It was as
if even the air became electrified with expectation. The awareness of
Christ Jesus and His Majesty was breathtaking; it was wonderful and
terrifying.


Even the Heavenly messengers were awed and astonished by the Lord's
presence. Words cannot express the level of awe and reverence these
angels have for the Lord. Their reaction only amplified the holy fear
that gripped my heart.


Get ready! We are about to behold the Lord's majesty and might in such
a
way that will shock us. A totally different type of respect is coming
in
these days for Christ the King. We too, will fall on our faces like
John
on the isle of Patmos when he encountered the risen Redeemer (see
Revelation 1:10-18).


The holy reverential fear of the Lord was so strong, that I was afraid
to breathe. I was torn between two desires--I wanted to fall back into
the shadows and hide, yet at the same time, I wanted the room to
continue to flood with His holy presence.


I wanted to hide because of the contamination of my heart. In His
presence, I was keenly aware of the weakness and wickedness of my
heart.
In this moment, I was conscious of the overwhelming grace of God toward
us. Despite the fact that our sins are dreadful, through Christ's blood
we become as white as snow (see Isaiah 1:18).


CONSIDER HIM AND ONLY HIM


"OUR GREATEST QUEST IS TO BEHOLD THE LORD IN HIS GLORY."


In Hebrews 12:3, we are instructed to "Consider Him...", Christ the
Redeemer. For without Him, we can accomplish nothing. It is the quest
and goal to lift Him ever higher for all to see, because He alone is
all
together lovely. As we lift Him up, He draws all men unto Himself.


While our glance can rest upon these great heroes of faith and their
awesome accomplishments for the Kingdom of God, our gaze must remain
constantly affixed to the King of kings. Yes, in all things we must
consider Him. All our thoughts must lead to Him. So, no matter what the
theme or text we are studying, we are really considering Jesus.


I love to study Hebrews 11, uncovering the great exploits of the men
and
women of outstanding faith. These people truly helped to advance God's
Kingdom. Our spirits are lifted higher as we reflect upon the great
victories of the impressive roll call of faith's heroes, and our
expectation is heightened as we ponder these people. We do well to look
deep into the life and ministry of these precious saints of old, but
expect God to do even more in our day.


We must never forget that the greatest days of the Church are ahead of
us, and we are to accomplish greater deeds than these spoken of in
Hebrews. The Kingdom of God is about advancing and expansion. He has a
mighty plan and awesome purpose for each of us. Never settle for less
than what God has promised to release for you.


However, our greatest quest is to behold the Lord in His glory, yet the
main message is still to "Consider Him." The writer of the book of
Hebrews is quick to point us to Christ, stating at the conclusion of
this tremendous passage, that our main focus must look past these great
victorious champions and look to the Lord.


As we consider Jesus, we discover that truly, He is "altogether
lovely,"
as stated in Song of Solomon. Great grace and anointing is upon the
study of the Song of Songs in our day. The Holy Spirit has released
much
light upon the beauty of the Lord in this awe-inspiring passage of
Scripture.


"His legs are pillars of marble set on bases of fine gold. His
countenance is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most
sweet. Yes, He is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my
friend, O daughters of Jerusalem!" (Song of Solomon 5:15–16.)


Jesus alone is the fairest of ten thousand. He is the bright and
Morning
Star. He is the beautiful lily of the valley. Oh, how can we help but
consider Him!


If we will take the time to study the book of Colossians, we will
discover much about the person, the power, and the position of Christ
Jesus. In Colossians 1:15, we are told that Jesus is the image of the
invisible God and the firstborn of all creation. It is in Him that the
fullness of the Godhead dwells.


Colossians 2:9-10 states, "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the
Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all
principality and power."


In Colossians 1:16-17, we discover that all things were created by Him
and through Him, and that it is in Him all things continue to exist!
Truly, God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him a name above every
name. How can we not consider Him?


GIVING GLORY TO WHOM GLORY IS DUE!


"GOD CHOOSES ORDINARY PEOPLE AND GIVES THEM AN ASTOUNDING ANOINTING."


Today when we observe God's mighty power demonstrated through a person,
we too must remember that behind it all is the Lord of Glory. We should
never forget that it is God who works in us, both to will and to do of
His good pleasure (see Philippians 2:13).


This is an overwhelming thought that we can live our life so that it
brings God pleasure. This must be the highest goal. We discover in Luke
12:32, that one of the things that brings Father God good pleasure is
giving us the Kingdom--releasing to us divine authority.


As we keep this in mind, our appreciation for God's power moving in the
life of others is heightened. It is wonderful to know that God chooses
ordinary people and gives them an astounding anointing in order for
them
to accomplish the task He has assigned (see 1 Corinthians 1:26).


The Scriptures declare concerning believers "...we have this treasure
in
jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not
from us" (2 Corinthians 4:7). Truly God uses the ordinary to do
extraordinary things so that when all is said and done, He alone
receives the glory due His name.


In the very near future, we will see meetings where great displays of
God's Spirit will accomplish overwhelming things, and no one will go
away speaking about the guest minister, but rather the whole focus will
be upon the Lord of Glory.


I am convinced that God would do many more miracles if He would get the
glory for them. This is something we must be very careful about--that
we
are always quick to give the glory to God for all that is accomplished
in any of our ministry meetings.


In a powerful prophetic visitation, I was told that the highest form of
treason and the deepest betrayal was to take the gifts that God has
released to win others to Christ, and use these gifts and anointings to
draw people to ourselves.


The Holy Spirit is on a mission--a mission to continually glorify the
Lamb of God. He is drawing us to consider Jesus in all things; to fix
our eyes on Him, knowing that as we look to Jesus, we will become like
Him.


"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of
the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to
glory,
just as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).


As we seek to behold Jesus in all His beauty, we will be changed to
become more and more like Him. God desires to use us to become radical
reflections of His glory, thus shining bright in a sin-darkened world.
We must choose to allow the impartation of His life to become a
sweet-smelling fragrance in our lives.


May it be stated of us, like the early disciples, that it is evident we
have been with Jesus. May the testimony of our lives be like that of
Paul, "For me to live is Christ..." May we never fail nor tire of
lifting up the Son of God in order that He may continue to draw all men
unto Himself.


HUNGRIER STILL--FOR HIS TRUTH


"WE ARE IN THE SEASON OF TRUTH--TRULY GOD WILL RELEASE HIS INSIGHTS IF
WE SEEK HIM."


Now let's return to the room with the candle. In the King's presence, I
longed to more clearly see His countenance as in Proverbs 16:15, "In
the
light of the King's face is life...." Knowing that Jesus sought to
reveal many things to me, I asked for strength to stand. Suddenly, I
felt His reassuring peace comforting my heart.


My voice trembled as I found the courage to ask, "Lord what is this
small candle?" He replied in the gentlest confirming tone, "That is
your
spirit being awakened by My words."


At His statement, my heart filled with the promise found in Proverbs
20:27, "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the
inward parts of his being." While I was thinking about this verse, He
said, "Yes, it is true; I long to give more revelation to My people."


We are in the season of Truth--truly God will release His insights if
we
seek Him. In Psalm 18:28, we read these encouraging words, "For you
will
light my candle; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness."


At the mere sound of His voice, the flame began to vibrate. It grew
stronger and stronger. I was amazed that the sound of His voice caused
the flame to increase in power. As the room grew brighter and brighter,
so did my heart. It seemed to expand with each deposit.


As the desire to see more increased in me, the Lord continued to speak
concerning His Kingdom. With each word from His lips, the room
increased
in light and brilliance. I was sadly and keenly aware of how little I
knew concerning the King and His Kingdom.


"TRULY IT IS IN HIS LIGHT THAT WE SEE LIGHT."


Worthy is the Lamb to receive all glory and honor. Here are some
Scriptures that pertain to this light. Psalm 36:9, "For with You is the
fountain of life: in Your light shall we see light." Truly it is in His
Light that we see Light.


Again, in Psalm 18:28, "For You light my lamp, The Lord my God
illumines
my darkness." My heart began to cry out for more wisdom and
understanding. We must have fresh revelation to accomplish what God is
setting before our generation.


In the prophetic promise found in Isaiah 58:6-11, we discover awesome
promises of light and health and overflowing provisions if we fully
follow God's plans.


"Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of
wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go
free,
and that you break every yoke? Is it not to deal your bread to the
hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house?


When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not
yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth as the
morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily; and your
righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your
rearward." (Isaiah 58:6-8)


As the Lord spoke again, the small flame's radiance greatly increased.
At the sound of His voice, the entire room seemed to quiver and
tremble--not in fear, but rather in anticipation and expectation. In
Psalm 29:3-9 we discover this truth--"The mountains shake at His
voice."



Christ continued to speak, affirming, "The more you respond to My
revelation, the brighter your candle burns." Even the instructions
caused the flame to become noticeably brighter. With more light, came
more desire for light. The brighter the light, the deeper my hunger
grew
for more. "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men" John
1:4.



In this incredible atmosphere, I felt something deep within me
arising--it was an excruciating hunger on a level I had never dreamed
possible, and the desire was like nothing I had ever experienced
before.
It was a hunger for His Word and for understanding. My heart cried out
Psalm 43:3, "O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me."


Abruptly and deeper than before, I was painfully aware of how little I
truly knew about His Majesty. It is one thing to know Scripture in our
head, and a completely different thing to understanding Divine Truth in
our heart.


A profound hunger arose within me. A deep love leaped within my heart.
I
cried out in desperation for more understanding. "Open my eyes to
behold
wonderful things from Your word. Open my ears to hear; open my eyes to
see." As we walk in His light, we see light. As He awakens our heart,
we
realize our desperate need for Him.


The cry of our heart is found in Ephesians 1:17-18, "Open the eyes of
my
heart flooding it with revelatory truth giving me understanding of all
you are saying to me."


With each deposit of truth, my hunger increased and the room became
ever
brighter. The shadows had been driven out, and the room was radiant
with
the Glory of Christ.


Then I saw this room completely filled with awesome treasures of
knowledge and wisdom, understanding and counsel, but--they must be
accessed through the door of Spirit and Truth. These were not treasures
such as gold and jewels, but true riches--the counsel of God and the
wisdom of the Word of God.


The mind of man cannot receive these treasures; they must come through
the revelation of the Spirit of Truth (see 1 Corinthians 2:9-14).


GOD'S WORD IS THE LAMP TO OUR FEET


"WE ARE TO WALK IN THE LIGHT AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT."


Each of us has been entrusted with a candle; we must respond to the
Holy
Spirit and permit Him to enlarge our flame. The candle is set aflame by
Heaven's fire.


In Job 29:3, we discover an awesome promise of walking in victory even
in dangerously dark days, "When His candle shined upon my head, and
when
by His light I walked through darkness."


God's plan is for believers to walk courageously in the light, not
stumble in the darkness. In Genesis 1:3, we discover God's heart. God
said, "Let there be light: and there was light."


1 John 1:5 tells us, "God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all."
We
are called to be children of Light. We are to walk in the Light as He
is
in the Light, knowing that in Him is no darkness at all (See John
8:12).



As followers of Christ, each of us are called and commissioned to be
children of the light. This is only accomplished as our walk is
directed
by the Word of God. God's Word is the true lamp to our feet and a
bright
light to our path (see Psalm 119:105).


By believing and obeying, this much needed light releases true wisdom
for our walk (see Psalm 119:130). Thus we are equipped to walk boldly
and filled with divine confidence knowing that God has more power to
direct us than the devil does to deceive us.


The Word of God must be in our heart not just our head; we must be
doers
of the Word and not just those who are content to hear. We are warned
that this leads us into the deepest deception (see James 1:22).


THE WORD OF GOD IS A POWERFUL WEAPON IN OUR SPIRITUAL WARFARE--IT IS
THE
SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.


In a prophetic encounter, the Spirit of God spoke these very
encouraging
words to me, "The people of God are about to believe what they know."
This is extremely exciting news. We know quite a bit in our head, but
seem to obey little in our heart. Now is the time to hear and heed the
spoken Word, as well as study the written Word.


Let's cry out in holy hunger for a brighter flame from the Lord.

"WALK IN VICTORY--BY GENEROUSLY SOWING THE RIGHT SEEDS"


The Spirit of God is encouraging each of us to advance, to walk with
clean hands and a pure heart; drawing us ever closer to our Lord in
this
season of no compromise-- to move in power, and to take the Kingdom for
the King!


Our day is a day of swift shift; a spiritually radical revolution is at
the door. Expect God to display His mighty deeds in doing new things
(Isaiah 48:6).


ADVANCE AND ACCELERATE


The cry of no hesitation has gone forth. We are to arise, walk in
dominion power, and lay a hold of the promises of God. This is not a
time to be weak and waffling, but rather a time to be extremely bold
and
brave.


We are commanded to be confident, brave, and very courageous (Joshua
1:7); the Spirit of God is calling forth the "dreaded champions."


Listen, with your whole heart, the voice of the Lord is speaking; He
delights to give you the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). Take courage! God has
promised victory! You are called to be the head and not the tail. The
Holy Spirit who lives within you is greater than the spirit that is at
work in the world (1 John 4:4).


You are created for victory; now is the time to shake yourself up, and
declare the proclamation found in Micah 3:8, "Truly I am full of power
by the Spirit of the Lord!"


We are in the harvest of the end of the ages--when the seeds of both
good and evil are coming to full fruit (Matthew 13:30). The Kingdom of
Heaven suffers violence and violent persons take it by force (Matthew
11:12).


God is calling for us to arise and take a strong stand against the
works
of darkness (Jude 1-4). We are to take the land.


This victory will be accomplished by individuals as well as the
corporate church. The end-time church will be a people of God's obvious
power (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). It is time to see a true demonstration of
the power of God's Spirit.


The cry has come up before the throne of God, "Oh Lord, rend the
Heavens
and come down!" (Isaiah 64:1). All across the earth, hungry desperate
saints cry, "Sirs, we wish to see Jesus" (John 12:21).


DRAW EVER CLOSER TO THE LORD


Join with the plea of Psalm 90:16-17, and pray that the Lord will let
His works appear. The church should be hungry and desperate to see the
works of the Lord. I am weary of seeing the plans and purposes of man;
I
long to see the mighty acts of God. The Spirit of Truth is calling for
us to come into the presence of the Lord.


No one will have an excuse. The way is clear, and any one of us can
advance higher. The invitation is extended, "Come up here" (Revelation
4:1-3), and as we answer the call to enter the door that is standing
open in Heaven, we can see more clearly and hear more distinctly. This
in turn equips us to advance ever deeper in the anointing, and make the
most of our divine call.


TURN HIS PROMISES INTO ACTION


Paul, the apostle, instructed us to walk purposefully toward one true
goal (Philippians 3:12-16). This is not a time to wander around the
mountain of defeat and unbelief; we are to lay hold of the promises of
God, take Him at His word, and stand firm in faith.


God released to me this very encouraging statement: "This will be the
season that My people begin to believe what they know. My Word will
move
from the head, to the heart, and to the hands." Rather than just being
content to sit and hear, we will become activators of the Word.


God has destined us to walk in victory, not defeat. We are called to be
victors, not victims. Never forget, God has promised that no weapon
formed against you can prosper (Isaiah 54:17).


The body of Christ stands poised at the very verge of the greatest move
of God in the history of mankind. Each of us should expect swift and
radical change. We do not have any more time for another trip around
the
mountain; we must enter into the promises of God today.


No matter how confused and confounded we have been in the past, this is
the day we can find the exit sign and end the wilderness wanderings. We
can begin to walk in our purpose: seeking first the Kingdom of God. We
must make it our aim to please Him (2 Corinthians 5:9).


OUR HIGHEST GOAL--ADVANCE THE KINGDOM


Paul prayed that we would "walk worthy of the Lord," be fruitful, and
increase in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord (Colossians 1:9-12).


Our highest goal must be to advance the KING in His Kingdom. Our prayer
each day must be "on earth as it is in Heaven." There must come a swift
synchronization between our walk and Heaven's will. Just as Christ
could
say, "I only do that which I see My Father doing," we must have clear
focus too.


It is imperative that we maintain a deep walk in the Word of God--this
will bring about the freedom we need to draw near to the Lord. We must
approach His holy hill with hearts and hands that are pure (Psalm
24:4-6).


Each day we must seek to draw ever nearer to Christ, seeking to yield,
ever deeper, our will to His will. It is as we face Him in faith--open
and trusting--that we are changed into His likeness (2 Corinthians
3:18).


WALK IN FREEDOM


The blood of Christ sets mankind free from all bondage. Because our
chains are gone, we must walk in freedom. In the days to come, we will
see a radical return to the message of the redemptive blood of Christ,
knowing that we are not redeemed with silver and gold, but with the
precious blood of Christ. Jesus said that you shall know the truth and
the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).


Spend time daily meditating upon the Word of God. Let it get deep
within
your soul--only then will you experience its transforming effects of
soul revival, wisdom, joy, and insight (Psalm 19:7-14).


Knowing the truth in our hearts sets us free. The question must be
asked, "Why are so many believers living in different levels of bondage
and defeat?" One of the greatest reasons is that we have left our first
love (Revelation 2:4). We must repent and return quickly and completely
to Christ.


NO COMPROMISE


Our prayer must be, "Lord, restore my passion for Jesus." The blood of
Christ has provided us with overwhelming victory--we do not have to
continue living in defeat, however, it will require our persistent
dedication to overcome the strongholds.


If we will dedicate ourselves again and resolve to obey Him, this can
change. We can start walking in lifelong victory. The pure in heart
will
see the Lord (Matthew 5:8).


The great and precious old song states:


"Trust and obey, for there is no other way

to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey."


This is one of the most important aspects of the Christian walk:
learning how to quickly obey the voice of the Spirit of God (John
10:3-4). Never run from God, but to Him. God longs to help us, not hurt
us.


God has promised to never leave us, but to live in us and always be
with
us; and because He is always with us, we are assured of the
overwhelming
victory (Hebrews 13:5).


BE FAITHFUL BY OBEYING


The word "obey" is one of the strongest words in the English language
we
can hear. True faith is always evidenced by obedience, which is why the
word in the New Testament that is usually translated "faith" also means
"faithfulness. "


True faithfulness with our life is evidenced by obedience to His voice,
and to one of the main mandates that the Lord gave to us in Matthew
6:33-34, "But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness; and all
these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for
tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself."


Many Christians seem to be as mixed-up as a termite in a yo-yo. This
confusion is most certainly fostered by the foe of our soul, as we know
that God is not the author of confusion.


I am sad to say that many saints have spent too much of their lives in
disorientation and defeat, because they have not obeyed the Word of
God.
It is as we seek first the desire of the King, and the advancing of His
Kingdom, that we have clear guidance.


One source of confusion is that many are walking in the light of their
own sparks, not in the revealed light of God's Word. They have made
vital decisions based on their own desires, and other earthly,
temporary
matters, rather than seeking first the purposes of the Kingdom.


If they had based all of their decisions on seeking the purposes of His
Kingdom first, everything else would have been added to them. If our
lives had been based on this, we would have nothing to be anxious
about,
knowing who our source and protector is.


There is no greater freedom, no greater peace, than that which is the
result of living our lives dedicated to the Lord in all things. And we
are being given another chance to do this now.


Do not let this year pass like the others. You are created to be the
leading--"thinking head," and not the following--" ignorant tail." God's
plan is for you to be above and not below. Now is the time to walk in
freedom.


SOW THE RIGHT SEEDS


Out my back door, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, is a huge apple orchard covering several hundred acres. It is
a joy to watch the trees bud, bloom, and bear delicious fruit. All this
is the result of one single man with a big dream:


Johnny Appleseed. He came through our region--Moravian Falls, North
Carolina, more than two hundred years ago, using the apple to preach
the
gospel. He used to say that you could count the seeds in an apple, but
you could not count the apples in a seed.


This whole region of the state is now covered in apple trees that
supposedly originate from this evangelist. Our goal must be to bear
spiritual fruit that will remain. It is a true principle we will always
reap what we have sown.


What way is the Lord leading each of us to sow seeds that will provide
a
harvest? Johnny Appleseed did not miss his opportunities to sow; don't
miss yours.


Just as we are promised in a number of places, in both the Old and New
Testaments (the Scriptures cannot be broken, but are one), every
Christian's life should have such an overflow that it is a major
blessing to all who are in need.


That's what Paul prayed for in II Corinthians 9:6-8, "Now this I say,
he
who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows
bountifully shall also reap bountifully.


Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or
under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to
make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in
everything; you may have abundance for every good deed..."


BE GENEROUS


Part of our promised land is to have such abundance (to have so much
more than we ourselves need), that we give much of it away, and it
blesses and touches everyone around us. This is not just in money or
material things, but in faith, hope, love, healing, etc.


Our giving begins with material things though, because we cannot be
trusted with the true riches of the Kingdom, if we do not learn how to
handle the earthly ones (Luke 16:11).


His Kingdom is not of this world, and neither are the true blessings
(of
the Promised Land) that we are seeking. They are something we are to
walk in and demonstrate in this life, but they are not of this world.


Many are not able to hear such words of discipline, considering them to
be "negative prophecies," but they are Biblical prophecies. The times
will not even be very difficult for those who have built their houses
on
the rock (by hearing and obeying the words of the Lord).


This coming year is going to be very difficult for all who are not
abiding in the Kingdom. The fear barometer is going to be rising a few
more degrees because the earth is going to be groaning and travailing,
and the lawless are going to become even more ruthless.


People who are giving themselves over to darkness are going to be
falling into increasing darkness. However, the glory of the Lord, which
is coming upon His people, will be so much greater that 2006 will be
known as "The Year of the Holy Spirit."


The Holy Spirit is going to be moving in a very dramatic way this year.
Those who are in harmony with Him will be having the greatest year of
their lives.


We really are coming to the time of the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:1-5,
"Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has
risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep
darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you, and His glory
will appear upon you. And nations will come to your light, and kings to
the brightness of your rising.


Lift up your eyes round about, and see; they all gather together, they
come to you. Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be
carried in the arms. Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart
will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be
turned
to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you."


We see here that at the very time the "deep darkness" is coming upon
the
people, the glory of the Lord is coming upon His people. If we are
building our lives on the Kingdom which cannot be shaken, we will have
nothing to fear from the things that are now coming upon the world.
Rather, it will be a time for great rejoicing--the time when the glory
of the Lord appears upon His people.


We must always keep in mind that this is the greatest treasure, the
greatest possession we could ever have--the Lord with us. We are going
to be experiencing the glory of the Lord this year in an increasing
way,
in preparation for the glorious victories to come.

HOW TO PRAY WITH POWERFUL RESULTS

Confess your faults one to another,
and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Do you often lament that your prayers aren't answered? Have you given
up going to God with your every concern because you aren't seeing
results of your prayer time? Do you think God may be ignoring you?

Include these attitudes in your prayer life:

PRAY CONFIDENTLY
If you begin by doubting, your prayer will falter. God tells us:

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying,
and saying,
Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
{28} And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:
and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?

When you are in a time of trouble, ask God for help,
believing that He is able to give it. Ask, expecting that He will

ADMIT YOUR WEAKNESSES TO THE LORD
Set your case before God, laying bare all your sorrow and all your
needs, then say, "Lord, there it is." Share your soul with Him. He is
not moved by eloquence of words or oratory of tongue, but is swift to
answer the true oratory, the true eloquence of real distress, and is
as
able to detect false misery as to relieve real sorrow. He loves for
us to state the difficulty we are in. Then, when He gets us out of
it, we may remember the sorry condition we were in, with gratitude
and rejoicing.

Declare your trust.
Express your confidence in God. Look to Him for your rescue, knowing
that it will come. Your eyes may be filled with tears, but keep
looking toward Him. As you look, your eyes will get stronger, and you
will become enlightened with His wisdom and direction.

THE THREE HEAVENS AND THE EIGHT SPIRITUAL REALMS

The word Heaven is plural “shamayim” or “ouranoi” (Gk). There are three heavens or “shamayim” mentioned in Scripture.

The first heaven is where “the birds of the heavens” fly. (Genesis 1:20, Psalm 104:12, Daniel 2:38)

The mid-heaven or second heaven is where the angels fly and do battle. (Revelation 12:4-12, 14:6,7)

The third heaven is where Paul or the person He knew was “caught up to” heard “inexpressible things” (2 Corinthians 12:2 NKJV) and is probably where Satan was first dwelling before he fell.

The Bible describes eight main spiritual realms:

Above the Heavens – where God’s glory dwells and where Satan once aimed to be. (Psalm 8:1, 108:4,5, Ephesians 1:20, 4:10, Isaiah 14:12-14)

Third Heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2) – the Throne, where Paul went and heard holy things.

Second Heaven (Revelation 12:4-12, 14:6,7) –Where Satan and fallen angels first fell to and demons are fighting for now.
First Heaven (Genesis 1:20, Psalm 104:12, Daniel 2:38) – birds dwell, Satan dwells as prince of the power of the air since the cross.
Earth esp. “The Face Of The Earth” (Genesis 6:1, Acts 17:26Job 1:7,2:2, 1 Peter 5:8) – the place of human habitation, also where Satan prowls, and will be cast down to in the end times.
The Grave/Under The Earth /In The Sea/The Deep (Genesis 1:2, Exodus 20:4, Deuteronomy 5:8, Job 28:14, Philippians 2:10, Revelation 5:3) – the place human bodies, some righteous souls before the cross, and the strange creatures of the deep dwell. In 1 Samuel 28:15 the prophet is “brought up” by the witch of Endor. In Matthew 27:52,53 there is a partial resurrection of the righteous OT saints “from the graves”.
Abyss/the Bottomless Pit/Hell (Isaiah 14:11-15; Numbers 16:33, Ezekiel 32:15-18 Luke 8:31, 10:7, Revelation 9:1,2; 20:1-3) – presently where the souls of the disgraced dead and confined demons dwell
The Lake of Fire (Revelation 19;20, 20:10-15) – a future place of eternal punishment prepared for the Devil and his angels and those who accept the mark of the Beast.

“Sheol” is a general Hebrew term covering the entire world of the dead. Luke 16 indicates that Abraham’s bosom is a place of comfort in the OT world of the dead. Job indicates that some of the dead experienced rest and reunion with relatives hence the term ‘gathered to one’s people”. (Job 3:17-22, Genesis 15:15, 25:8,17; Deut 32:50).

Abbadon or Destruction (Gk Apollyon) is the name of the angel that guards the Pit (Revelation 9:11) and thus Hell is given the name Abaddon in Job 26:6, 28:22, Proverbs 15;11. It is seen as a place of silence, loss of identity and oblivion as well as of torment. There is no knowledge of God just active torment and judgment. (Pslam 6:5, 88:12, Deut 32:22) God’s Presence is till there – as wrath. (Psalm 139;8)

Tartarus was the legendary Greek place of extreme torment. 2 Peter 2:4 indicates that the rebellious demons were confined here. It seems equivalent to the Pit.
