The Glory Of God Is Revealed In Jesus Christ

The Glory Of God Is Revealed In Jesus Christ: It means weight, honor, esteem, glory, Majesty, abundance, wealth. 4Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory. (Eze.10:4)

The Glory of God Defined: The phrase " the glory of God" is used in several ways in our Bibles. It"s been described God's Splendor and Majesty. 11Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. ( 1Chr.29:11), 3God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

4And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

5Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

( Hab.3:3-5), a glory so great that No human being can see and live 18And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

19And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. ( 21And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

22And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Ex.33:18-23. At best one can only see an "appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord"26And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

27And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

28As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

In this sense, the glory of God's designates his uniqueness, his holiness 1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (Isa.6:1-3),and transcendence 36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. ( Rom .11:36),21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(Heb.13:21),Peter uses the term" the Majesty Of Glory" as a name for God 17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.( 2 Peter 1:17).

The Glory of God also refers to God's visible presence presence among his people, called later by rabbis the " shekinah" is a Hebrew meaning " Dewlling [of God]," employed to described a visible manifestation of God's presence and glory. Moses saw God's "shekinah" glory in the pilliars of cloud and fire 21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:9 Ex.13:21),43And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. It is called " My Glory 2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.( Isa.60:2). It covered Sinai when God gave his law16And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.( Ex.24:16,17). The Lord's glory is revealed in a brilliant manifestation of light emanating from God's being. 34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.(Ex.40:34).16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.( 1Tim.6:16) This term expresses God's transcendence. God is different and independent from his creation - whether humans or angels, spirits or physcial or material things

9Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

10And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

11And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

12And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

13And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

14And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.

16And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.( Ex.24:9-18),

1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.( Isa.6:1-3); 12Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?13Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?

14With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

15Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

16And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

17All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

18To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

19The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.

20He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

21Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

22It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

23That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

24Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.

25To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

26Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

( Isa.40:12-26);8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.( Isa.55:8,9);1Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

2In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,

3The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

4And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

5Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

6And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

7And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

8And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

9Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

10As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

11Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

12And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

14And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

17When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

18As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

19And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

20Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

21When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

22And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

23And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

24And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

25And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

26And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.(Eze.1:1-28). God Must not be placed on the same level with humans or any other beings he has created. His being and existence are totally different realm. He dwells in perfect and pure existence far above his creation. He is Not part of his creation nor is his creation s psrt of him. Futhermore, believers are Not God and will Never be "gods". We will always be limited and dependent beings, even the age to come.

36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

37But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.(Ex.40:36-38), and later filled Solomons Temple 1Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.{2Ch.7:1), 11So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

12Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

13I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.( 1Ki.8:11-13).

More specifically, God lived between the cherubim in the most holy place 4So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.(1Sa.4:4),2And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.(2Sa.6:2),1Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.(Ps.80:1). Ezekiel saw the glory of the Lord rise and depart from the temple because of rampant idoltary there.4Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.18Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.19And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.(Ezekiel 10:4; Ezekiel 10:18; Ezekiel 10:19).

In the N.T. equivalent of the "shekinah" glory in Jesus Christ, who as the glory of God in human flesh came to take his dwelling among us. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.(John1:14). The she[ards of Bethlehem saw the glory of the Lord at Jesus Christ birth 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.(Luke2:9), the disciples saw it at Jesus Christ's transfiguration2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.(Matt.17:2),16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.(2Pe.1:16-18)., and Stephen saw it at the time of his martydom55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,(Acts7:55). A 3Rd aspect of God's glory is his spiritual presence and power. Even though the heavens declare the glory of God 1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.(Psalm 19:1),19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:(Romans 1:19,20), and the whole earth is full of his glory3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.(Isa.6:3),14For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.(Hab.2:14),the brightness of his majesty is not now visibly evident and often goes unnoticed. However, believers experience God's glory and presence in his nearness, love, righteousness and manifestations through the power of the Holy Spirit 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.(2Cor.3:18),16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.(Eph.3:16-19). To have the "Inner being" strengthened by the spirit is to have our feelings, thoughts and purpose placed more and more under the influence and direction so that the spirit can manifest his power through greater measure. The purpose of this strengthening is 4-fold: (1.) That Jesus Christ may established his presence in our hearts..vv.16,17;cf.Rom.8:9,10; (2.) that we be grounded in a sincere love for God, Jesus Christ and others;(3.) that we comprehend with our minds and experience in our lives Jesus Christ's love for us...vv.18,19;(4.) that we may be filled with All the fulness of God"...V.19, ie, that God's presence may be filled in us that reflects from our inner most being the character and stature that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.(Eph4:13,15,22-24).

(4.) Finally the O.T. warns us that any kind of "idoltary" encroaches on God's glory and brings reproach to his name. Whenever God manifests himself as our redeemer, his name is glorified

9Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.(Psalm 79:9)21Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.(Jeremiah 14:21). Jesus Christ entire ministry on earth brought glory to our God 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the (Son.John 14:13),4I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.(John 17:4,5).

The Glory Of God Revealed In Jesus Christ: When Isaiah spoke about the coming of Jesus Christ, he prophesied that in Him the glory of God would be revealed for all mankind to see 5And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.(Isaiah 40:5). Both John 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.(John 1:14) and the writer to the Hebrews 3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:(Heb.1:3), testify that Jesus Christ fulfilled prophecy. Jesus Christ's glory was the same glory he had with his Father before the world began 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.(John 1:14),5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.(John 17:5). The glory of the ministry surpassed the glory of the O.T. ministry 7But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

8How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

9For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

10For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

11For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.(2 Corinthians 3:7-11). Paul calls Jesus " the Lord of glory" 8Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.(2 Corinthians 2:8), and James calls him "our glorious Lord Jesus Christ 1My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.(James 2:1). Reaptedly the N.T. refers to the relationship between Jesus Christ and the glory of God. His miracles revealed his glory 11This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.(John 2:11),40Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

42And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 11:40-44). Jesus Christ was transfigured in a "bright cloud"

43And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

44And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. Where he recieved glory 16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.(2 Peter 1:16),19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:(2 Peter 1:19). The Hour of his death was the hour of his glorification 23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.(John 12:23)24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.(John 12:24)2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

4I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.(John 17:2-5).

He ascended into heaven in glory 9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
(Acts 1:9),16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.(1 Timothy 3:16), Now exalted in glory
12Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

(Rev.5:12),13And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.(Revelation 5:13), and will someday return " on the clods in the sky, with power and great glory" 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.(Matthew 24:30,31)62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.(Mark 14:62),17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.(1 Thessalonians 4:17).

The Glory of God Experienced In The Believers: How does the glory of God apply to the believers personally? [1.] Regarding God's majestic heavenly glory, it is still true that No one can see that glory and live. We know it it is there, but we do not see it. Because God is unpproachable light and glory, No mortal human being can see him face to face. 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.(1 Timothy 6:16).

[2.] God's "shekinah glory," however, was experienced by God's people in the Bible times. Throughout history to the present time there have been believers who had visions of God simliar to those of (Isa.6:1-13)1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

And Ezekiel 1:1-28, though this was not common then and now. Though the experience of God's glory, however, is something that all believers will have at the consummation, when we see Jesus Christ face to face. We will be brought into God's glorious presence10For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.(Hebrews 2:10),10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.(1 Peter 5:10),24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,(Jude1:24), share in Jesus Christ glory 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.(Romans 8:17,18), and be given a crown of glory 4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.(1 Peter 5:4). Even our ressurection bodies will bear the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ in our bodies just like his. 42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:(1 Corinthians 15:42,43)21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Philippians 3:21).

[3.] On a more immediate basis, sincere believers experience the spiritual presence of God. The Holy Spirit brings the presence of God and the Lord Jesus Christ near to us. 17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.(Corinthians 3:17),14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.(1Peter 4:14). When the Spirit becomes powerful active in the church through His supernatural manifestation

1Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

2Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

3Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.(1 Corinthians 12:1-12), believers experience God's glory in thier midst, i.e., an awesome feeling of God's presence, simliar to what the shepards felt in the field of Bethleham

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.(Luke 2:8-20). Believers who forsake sin and shun adolatry may be filled with both Christ's glory 22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 17:22), By the truth of God's word, the "Glory" of Jesus Christ was his life of self-denying service and his dying on the cross in order to redeem the human race. Likewise, the "glory" of the believers is the path of humble service and bearing his or hers cross 23And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23),Humility, self-denial and the wilingness to suffer for Jesus Christ will ensure the unity of believers and will lead to true glory. As we must live our entire lives to the glory of God, so that he is always glorified in us. 10And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.(John 17:10),31Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31), 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.(2 Corinthians 3:18).

I thank and praise our Lord for His wisdom in everything that is for us to follow daily in Him and to strife to more and more like the Father no matter how it turns out for that day in giving it all unto Him in turning it unto Him in prayer and forgivness in all matters that I've fail ed .For He truly knows Me as He orders my steps every single day to improve with Him guiding me as I best know how to do in keeping focus on Him . That I may help someone else along my path as He chooses for me to fellowship with one another in bringing all hopes and dreams in having that person come unto the Lord in their hopes in going home to be with him. Amen, Hallelujah ! Blessed Be the Name of Jesus. catcmo2006
