Hope In the Coming Pastor

Jesus Christ has so many words that speaks to me. I'm listening and re learning as my life turns unto a New Beginning of each New Day being in the Masters Hands. This new day is like a brand new blank sheet of paper on which My Lord and I can write new ways of being and doing in the world. I will write about what I loving wish my relationship with Jesus Christ, with myself and with others that He assigns me to be with each day as we walk hand in hand with one another. I throughly expect this day of healing to feel and be energizing health pulsing through me. I expect this day to be a day of joy and love, which I will be free from anxieties. As I walk in love, with all of those satisying relationships. I expect today, and each day, to be a time of renewal and deepening understanding of myself as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I welcome this new season, this new day, and this new me as well.

As I am sitting here thinking about some prayers I've found more to be prayed in the coming year over each one of you all as I normally do in knowing God will answer it as each day passes in relying on Him through His mighty provisions that He sends it to my pastors and the families of each ones own household but unto the family of people at the church in helping each people in growing so much closer in each of our lives as all of walk with Jesus Christ. Now that all of us are in a brand new year of 2007, holding each other up and we each as individuals knows one another burdens, trial, tribulation that will guide us to Jesus in having victories in thanking Him and giving Him our praises and glory unto the might deliever in us growing up in our character in all likeness of the one we love in our obedience as it has been given unto us by the spirit of truth in His magnifying presence of whom He is in us. What a blessing to know such truths, even when it's not within us to do at those ever ending moments that seems like it will not end but only the father knows when it does and for us to take that extra second in time to thank Him for it all anyway. Thank each of you for listen , observing, so each of you can help us to help someone else in this world as YOU have taught us to do. God Bless You all ! Here is the list!

Then as God bring unto each of His postive winess unto each of You by the Holy Ghost, upon recieving it by Thanking Him for doing it.

19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Ephesians 5:18-23

As each of You has dealt with the enemy. Come against him in His power and authorityas I know each of you will do in being consistent with Charater of God whom is all powerful in sizing up those moments between each of you. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:7-10

As As each of you know as you wait so tenderly on God in ones expectancy for He will bring it in ones own mind To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. John 10:3. This I have learned and most likely you are doing it too. Having your Bibles with you just as I in that Holy event that our precious God want to give conformation or His direction that only He can give unto You Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Psalms 119:105. So in all things that He has brought unto our minds in which to be praying about as all of us to pray, praise Him for what He done or doing. We have this simple reminder that our God has our glory. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.Romans 11:36.15. And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,

16Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

17Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.Numbers 27:15-17.

4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

5And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

6He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

7And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;

8And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.

9On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

17Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

18And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

19While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

21Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

22And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

23Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

24And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

30And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

36And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,

37Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

38And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

39And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

40And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.<> The proof of His call.

I know this is lengthy to read but these is what I've praying for in the church and may God bless us with whom ever it is that will be with us all in the eastside baptist church. I've used scriptures in my own praying time in recieving God directions many, many times and seen countless reults in not only my life but charlie's too. I thank Jesus for it and praise His name in all things of what He done before us.

But let's see how this comes to pass. We will imagine a stranger with only an Old Testament in his hand. He opens to Genesis 1 and begins reading verse by verse. Soon he comes to Chapter 3, with its promise of Someone coming. He reads on and finds a repetition of the same promise in almost every book, until as he reads from Isaiah onwards the very Fullness of prophecy appears. But he comes to Malachi 4, the last chapter of the Old Testament, and the promises have not been realized. The reader has now become conscious the Old Testament is ,.. a book of unfulfilled prophecies.So he turns back to Genesis 1 and starts again. Soon he is conscious of something strange and unusual: sacrifice and offering already in Genesis 4. He wonders what can be the purpose of it again in chapters 9, 12, and 22, and still more clearly in Exodus, until in Leviticus there is an entire organization of sacrifices, offerings, rites and ceremonies. He sees them referred to again and again, with very little explanation of their real meaning, until once more he reaches Malachi 4 without the light he needs. He is now conscious that the Old Testament is also ... a book or unexplained ceremonies.Once more the reader returns to Genesis, and it is not long before he becomes aware of another great fact: man's great desire and longing for God. He reads of it in chapters 4, 5,15, 28, and 49 and throughout the rest of Bible history, but most of all in Job, Psalms and the Prophets. He reads again and again about people crying out for relationship with the living God and for the blessings God has promised. There are often answers, and there are great moments of satisfaction, but something is still missing. Again, the Old Testament ends without the complete realization of satisfaction in mans relationship with God. And our reader becomes conscious of yet another fact, that the Old Testament is ... a book of unsatisfied longings.These are three threads running through the Old Testament making it by itself an incomplete book. It ought to be studied from this standpoint and with this perspective if it is to be rightly understood. Only thus will it be appreciated as the foundation of the New Testament.And we will imagine that someone now gives our stranger a copy of the New Testament. As he begins to read, he finds there the very things he has failed to discover in the Old Testament!
