Dear Precious Heavenly Father; I come unto You this day with my worship and praises unto You as I bow before You with my heart in opened to say some thing unto You as You hear it our cries for all the people whom are in need of You and those whom have lost loved ones, and people whom are sick and are in need of your Holy hands to touch them at this hour and for thanking you for all of provisions being granted ever before us today. Father I ask for your forgivness of all my sins, forgive all of those whom have sinned against me. Father create in me a clean heart and renew in me a right spirit within me. Father there are all of these people whom are represented with thier requests in this place today. Oh, Father I just lift them up unto You today in all that's shared with you as we look unto you as they have asked, seeking, knocking on the door for You in helping each family that represented here, whatever the need may be, whether it be spiritual, physcial, mental, emotional, financial or what ever it takes I ask You to under take all of those needs according to Thy will. I ask that you come into each homes, ministries, mission fields and make a way where there seems to be no way for all of them. Make those mountains move in their behalf today like never before,show them all roads that they must follow in seeing what you want them to travel in all of your ways before them. Let them feel your presence all around them as your Holy Spirit guides them as you are loving them with your arms wrapped all around them at this hour. Father God cover each of them by Your blood as your anointing falls fresh on them in encouragment, strengthening, love as we up-lift them today before you . We pray for those families whom have those men and women whom are in the battle fields whom the enemies whom are trying to take them out father. But pour out your anointing all over each person whom are in battle fields in all countries as they are in your divine protection that's all around them through out this day and unto those late morning hours and in their vehicles as they travel from place to placeto see all bombs in each raod before hand as they travel from place to place and where they rest there heads to be at rest in you. Father God proction from "Shite muslims,and Sunni's have come against the soliders and are in need of your divine protection , raise up the churches and goverment people in that nations will turn to Godly counsel and advisors,God learning values that are timely, reliable, dependable in all ethical ways in whom will uphold your laws and be of peace and total moderations of what the nation could be before you in living out whom you are before them. and for those groups of people in acceptence of those right ways to go before them as they drown all aruments that only stiffles them down all roads that only leads to degrading them all which only leads to death to them all. To And to fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that not shall be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known unto them at this hour of prayer. But You Father God hath revealed them unto us by Your Holy Spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things unto all mankink, Yes, those deep things that are of you. For nothing is kept secret, that not shall be known unto you, that will be manifested, that nothing hid, that not be made known and come abroad to come tunto the people whom are searching and looking only for your answer to know how to handle it in your ways and deeds that sheds forth your heavenly light on all dark paths to come to pass before them. In bringing all people out of those dark hidden places only for having freedom in being brought home alive in sharing with the world in what you have done before them in truth and wisdom as they abide in you as they are in nations in fighting for freedom in every place in the world that you have made as we stand behind them today. . Gracious God, I acknowledge that You are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. I am thankful for the victorious work of Your Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary for me. I appropriate His victory for myself now as I willingly surrender every area of my life to Your will.
Thank you for the forgiveness and righteousness that has been given to me as Your adopted child. I trust in Your protection and provision daily. I know that your love for me never ceases.
I rejoice in Your victory, my Lord, over all the principalities and powers in the heavenlies. In faith I stand in Your victory and commit myself to live obediently for You my King.
I desire that my fellowship with You become greater. Reveal to me those things that grieve You and enables the enemy to secure an advantage in my life. I need the Holy Spirit's powerful ministry in my life; bringing conviction of sin, repentance of heart, strengthening my faith and increasing perseverance in resisting temptation.
Help me to die to self and walk in the victory of the new creation You have provided for me. Let the fruits of the Spirit flow out of my life so that You will be glorified through my life.
I know that it is Your will that I should stand firm and resist all of the enemy's work against me. Help me to discern the attacks upon my thoughts and emotions. Enable me to stand upon Your Word and resist all the accusations, distortions and condemnations that are hurled against me.
It is my desire to be transformed through the renewing of my mind, so that I will not compromise with the ways of the world, or yield to the enemy's attacks, but be obedient to Your will.
I draw upon those spiritual resources that You have provided me and I attack the strongholds and plans of the enemy that have been put in place against me. I command in the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy must release my mind, will, emotions and body completely. They have been yielded to the Lord and I belong to Him.Lord, enable me to become the person You created me to be. Help me as I pray to be strong in faith. Show me how to apply Your Word in my life each day. I know that I wear the full armor of God when I am committed to and stand firmly upon Your Word. I want You to have the supreme place in my life.
I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. You are always faithful and You extend Your grace to me constantly, even when I do not realize it. I claim Your promise of forgiveness and cleansing in its fullness. In faith, I receive the victory today that you have already put in place for me. God's Wisdom

Proverbs 28:10-12 (KJV): 10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession. 11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. 12 When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden. Proverbs 28:10-12 (AMP): 10 Whoever leads the upright astray into an evil way, he will himself fall into his own pit, but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance. 11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes and conceit, but the poor man who has understanding will find him out. 12 When the (uncompromisingly) righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration; but when the wicked rise (to power), men hide themselves.

Thoughts for the Day These verses from Proverbs make a comparison between the righteous and the wicked, telling us that the wicked will fall into their own pit. They also tell us that the poor man with understanding, has an advantage over the conceited rich man, as he will catch the evil man in his plots. Also, when the righteous triumph, men celebrate; however, when the wicked rise to power, good men will find ways to hide themselves from the wicked men's plots. Verse 10 issues a warning to people who cause the righteous to go astray in an evil way - they will fall into their own pit, while the upright shall have a good inheritance. People who peddle drugs and evil merchandise would fall into that category. Cigarettes offered to children is another example of causing the innocent and righteous to go astray. Evil men who exploit little children by using them for pornographic pictures are in a class of unspeakable wickedness that deserves death. The Bible talks about this in the New Testament. Matthew 18:5-7: 5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Verse 11 talks about how rich men become conceited, and in that state, they sometimes think they are invincible, as they believe their money will buy them out of any situation. However, a poor person who follows God has a greater advantage than the rich man. The Lord will give poor men who listen to Him, the understanding and wisdom they need to be able to find out the schemes of the wicked wealthy. Evil men throughout the ages have always attempted to use their money and their power for their own selfish agendas. However, the Bible says that the Lord can bring all men down, when they abuse their position. Psalm 75:6-7: 6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Verse 12 in today's study tells us that there is celebration when good men and women come to power, while men hide themselves from wicked leadership. When wicked men rule, they are not fair and just. They will use their position to remove those people that they do not like. In very wicked countries, they just have them murdered, while in other countries, wicked rulers may just remove them from their offices and places of authority. This is why this verse says that when the wicked rise to power, men hide themselves. They must protect their lives and their belongings, as wicked people always seek to destroy others for their own agendas. People rejoice when gracious and righteous leadership is over them.

Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for good and righteous leaders in our businesses, in our cities and in our nations. Lord, remove those who are wicked, so that righteousness might reign in the earth. Father, cleanse our societies of those who prey on the weak, the helpless, and the innocent children. Deliver us from evil. May Your kingdom come in the earth, as it is in heaven. Hallowed be Thy name, and in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. catcmo2006

Prayer For Sarita

Father right now we come boldly before your throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We agree with Your word says in Matt. 18:19, so we are fully persuaded that you will totally fulfill your word in Sarita’s life.
Jesus paid for Sarita's healing, where it says in 1 Peter 2:24b “by whose stripes you were healed.” Father, Jesus already has paid the full price for Sarita’s healing. So we right now thank you for Sarita’s total healing; as it says in your word in Phil. 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”
So we thank you Jesus for there is none like you in all the earth! We give You, Jesus ALL of the praise and glory for a complete healing as it says in Isaiah 55:11. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” And we send Your word, now into Sarita’s need, accessed by the power of the blood of Jesus and faith in the finished price by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. I bind the strong man over this temple in the name of Jesus Christ. I plead the blood of Jesus against or on anything _Nicole's Life that has touched, is touching or will touch. I bind all outside demonic activity and all the forces of evil in, around, about, beneath and outside Nicole's Life __ that would try to interfere including principalities, powers and rulers of darkness, forces of spiritual wickedness, spirits of distraction, deception, confusion, repression, witchcraft, strife, stress and competition. I bind the carnal and passive mind of _Nicole's Life and command it to cease and be shut down in Jesus Christ’s name. We refuse the carnal and passive mind from interfering in any way. I command those voices of evil spirits to be silenced. I bind and forbid them from communicating with each other and with the outside spirit world. I bind the forces of evil from this room, home, children and from having any knowledge of what is or what will take place in these rooms,home. I bind and break the power and effects of all doorkeepers and gatekeepers in Jesus’ name be gone. In the name of Jesus, I claim absolution for Nicole and her children from all negative schemes that have heretofore been set in perpetual motion such as bottomless holes, endless needs, repeated conditions, problems without end, and mazes. I direct the healing lights of the Holy Spirit to the source of each physical problem. Proverbs 28:8-9 (KJV): 8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor. 9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. Proverbs 28:8-9 (AMP): 8 He who by charging excessive interest and who by unjust efforts to get gain increases his material possession gathers it for him (to spend) who is kind and generous to the poor. 9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the law (of God and man), even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting (to God).

Thoughts for the Day These verses from Proverbs tell us those who use unjust means to make money will see their fortunes, in time, fall into the hands of those who will pity the poor and give to them; and those who are rebellious and refuse to hear God and man's laws - their prayers are an abomination to God. Verse 8 tells us that usury and the unjust means of making money are wrong. What is unjust usury? It is the act of lending money at a rate of interest that is excessive or unlawfully high. The Hebrews were given instructions about lending money and other things to a brother. They were not to charge interest when a loan was made to another Hebrew brother. A stranger could be charged interest, but not a brother. Deuteronomy 23:19-20: 19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury: 20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. In the New Testament, Jesus gave us a higher way in regard to lending. He told us it was better to give, than to lend. We are instructed to give not only to our brothers, but to sinners as well. Not only are we to help when people are down and need money, but we are also to give mercy and compassion to others as well. Our heavenly Father will pay us back for anything we give to others. At one time in our lives, the Lord spoke to us to cancel all monetary debts that anyone owed us personally. He told us He would repay us. At that time, the people who owed us were not able to pay us anyway. This was very liberating for us, as when we released them, the Lord released finances to us in a different way, which more than compensated for the thousands that we lost. Luke 6:33-38: 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Sinners who get their riches by unjust means, may heap them up; but God makes a way that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just, who will consider the poor and help the needy. Proverbs 13:22: A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Psalm 49:6-7 & 10: 6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: 10 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Job 27:16-17: 16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; 17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. Verse 9 of today's study declares that those who will not listen to God's commandments, and the rules of man, will not have his prayers answered, as they are an abomination to God. We must come to God with a submissive attitude and a with repentance in our heart, if we want God to hear our prayers and answer them. Psalm 66:18-20: 18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. Proverbs 15:8: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your mercy and kindness to us. Lord, may we be like You, and show that same mercy and kindness to others. Lord, may we be able to trust You with our financial affairs, should You tell us to forgive a debt that someone owes us. Lord Jesus, You paid a debt You did not owe, and I owed a debt I could not pay. Thank You for releasing me, and Lord, I release others today by forgiving them and blessing them and extending mercy to them. May all of Your children have the Father's love and mercy toward one another. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Proverbs 28:6-7 (KJV): 6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. 7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father. Proverbs 28:6-7 (AMP): 6 Better is the poor man who walks in his integrity than he who willfully goes in double and wrong ways, though he is rich. 7 Whoever keeps the law (of God and man) is a wise son, but he who is a companion of gluttons and the carousing, self-indulgent, and extravagant shames his father.

Thoughts for the Day These verses from Proverbs tell us that it is better to have character even though you are poor, than to be perverse in your ways and be rich. Also, a son who is respectful of the laws of God and men, is a wise son, but a son who is riotous will bring shame to his father. When men's values change and they regard money and material things of a greater value than a good name and character, a society will begin to crumble. When moral values and character are not stressed in our schools, our homes, and our churches, soon the lack of these will affect our children and our society in a negative way. Character traits such as honesty, courage, humility, kindness, politeness and respect for authority, bring order to a home, a classroom or a society. People say we cannot legislate morality. What is really needed is men and women in the legislative offices that are moral. Then they will vote for, and support, righteous causes, instead of passing laws that are evil that hurt our society. As individuals, we need to pray for, and vote for, legislators and leaders who are moral and live by godly principles. In my generation, there was support between our homes, schools and our churches. If a child had a behavior problem at school, the parents would support the school in dealing with it. If a child misbehaved in Sunday School, the parents disciplined the child for this behavior. If a child was guilty of doing something at home, the parents would notify the school and church, so they could help the parents with the needed correction, should it occur there (such as smoking). They all worked together, so the child could not get away with something that was bad. Our present establishments are so divided that children can now get by with things without being caught because there is no communication between these entities. Also, because of evil in all of these institutions, some people are used of the devil to undermine authority. Instead of some school personnel working with parents, they believe the lies of some of the rebellious children and the parents are then the targets by the school and the children. And then the opposite is true, there are evil parents who abuse their children and lie about it, and the children suffer. There are also wicked men in our churches who have sexually abused the children who come there. Our churches should be a haven from evil, but the devil has now made his way into our churches with sexual abuse, greed, false doctrine and other evils. What does the Bible say about such things? 2 Timothy 3:1-5: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. The devil is trying to gain the minds of our young people today in an effort to destroy them. Verse 7 in today's study tells us that a son who is riotous and self-indulgent will end up bringing shame to their parents. Some children who do not honor their parents are also so wicked that they curse their own father and mother. It is always a blessing to see Christian young people who are respectful and who do honor their parents. These young people stand out as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. Proverbs 30:11-14: "There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men." From these scriptures we see that the Bible speaks of a generation of youth who will be a curse to their parents. The youth of any nation are simply a reflection of the parents of that nation. When sin is not dealt with in any society, the result of those sins will always produce violence. The generation living in the days of Noah was similar to our day. This is the time the Bible speaks of when Jesus Christ will return to this earth to judge the wicked and the righteous. Genesis 6:11-13: "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth." Luke 17: 26-30: "And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for all of the young people in this generation who have taken a stand for righteousness. Lord, strengthen them to be able to stand strong in their convictions in this perverse and crooked generation. We pray that the leaders in our churches and schools will be righteous and morally good people so that our children and our society will be influenced by the standards of the Bible, so we can all dwell in peace and harmony. Forgive our national sins, so that we might return to the roots that our nation was established on. God bless America is my prayer. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. catcmo2006

Dear Precious Yeshua; You are the Savior of this world that we behold in our lives, for all the people of the world that You have made before us.Father, I bow in worship and praise before you.We cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus Christ and claim the protection of Your blood over myself, family, friends aquaintences, spouses,finances, home, my spirit, soul, body. We surrender self completely in every single area of our lives unto You. For it is that we labor in striving because we have fixed all of our hopes in the True living God, whom is the Savior of all men in the world No matter what genders of which You have made of all human being that don't know you or have walked away or reuse to come into that saving grace and mercy which leads them into that divine reconcilliation in asking, seeking, knocking upon the only door that leads to life of which you have given everyone whom comes unto you with believing, trusting, faith,hope of whom you are in that wonderful harvest in the accesss of obedience in knowing in one's own heart of which is taught by you. In bringing about that new total conversion . My name is Meth...

I destroy homes, I tear families apart,

I take your children,

and that's just the start.

I'm more costly than diamonds, more precious than gold,

The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold.

If you need me, remember I'm easily found,

I live all around you - in schools and in town.

I live with the rich; I live with the poor,

I live down the street, and maybe next door.

I'm made in a lab, but not like you think,

Praying For You

Dear Precious Heavenly Father,I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus Christ and claim the protection of the blood for my family, my finances, my home, my spirit, soul and body. I surrender myself completely in every area of my life to you. I take a stand against all the workings of the devil that would try and hinder me and my family from best serving you. I address myself only to the true and living God who has all power and control over everything. satan, I command you and all your demon forces of darkness, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to leave my presence. I bring the blood of Jesus Christ between the devil and my family, my home, my finances, my spirit, soul and body. In Jesus NameI declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, in my own life today I destroy and tear down all the strongholds of satan and smash the plans of satan that have been formed against me and my family. I tear down the strongholds of the devil against my mind and I surrender my mind to you, Blessed Holy Spirit.I affirm, Heavenly Father, that you have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Therefore, I resist the spirit of fear, in the name of Jesus, the Son of the Living God, and I refuse to fear, refuse to doubt, refuse to worry, because I have authority (power) over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19).I claim complete and absolute victory over the forces of darkness in the name of Jesus and I bind the devil and command him to loose my peace, joy, prosperity, and every member of my family for the glory of God and by FAITH I call it done. I break and smash, crush the strongholds of Satan formed against my emotions today and give my emotions to you, Lord Jesus. I destroy the strongholds of satan against my body today and I give my body to you Lord Jesus, realizing that I am the Temple of the Holy Ghost (I Corinthians 3:16, I Corinthians 6:19-20).Again, I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that the Holy Ghost would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the ascension and all the work of restoration of the Lord Jesus Christ into my life today. I will not hate, envy, or show any type of bitterness toward my brothers, sisters, or my enemies, but I will LOVE them with the love of God shed aboard in my heart by the Holy Ghost.Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please you and give me the strength, grace and wisdom to remove any sin or weight that would prevent your close fellowship. We cast out every spirit of fear, heaviness, jealousy, bondage, whoredom, lying, perversion, slumber, and all infirmities. We plead the blood of Jesus around our properityline, above the roof, and below the foundation of our home, and we bind you satan and your entire kingdom from crossing that bloodline. I cannot be shaken by circumstances or fear from the enemy, because I keep the Lord forever in my remembrance. I will not be afraid of evil tidings. My heart is fixed. I trust in the Lord. My heart is established, I will never be afraid. Satan desires to see me defeated. I desire to see him defeated and destroyed. His desire will not come to pass over me. My desire will come to pass over him. With God’s power, I will outlast Satan every time. I have dispersed and given to the poor. My acts of righteousness are eternal. My horn is lifted up in anticipation of a great outpouring of God’s blessing into my life. The wicked will see it and be grieved. God’s Wisdom For Daily Wisdom

God's Wisdom For Daily Living:

Proverbs 28:3 (KJV): A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. Proverbs 28:3 (AMP): A poor man who oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food (plundering them of their last morsels).

Thoughts for the Day This verse from Proverbs tells us that when one who is a wicked person, and is similar in need, takes advantage of their own kind, they are like the destruction of a sweeping rain. Instead of identifying with the plight of poverty, a wicked poor person will exploit their fellow victims. This is such a mean thing for a person to do, when they plunder those who are already suffering under poverty with further oppression. Jesus told a story of this kind of behavior in the book of Matthew. Matthew 18:23-35: 23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. 35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. In this story, we see that the Lord and master of this servant was kind to him and forgave the debt that he owed. However, when one of the fellow-servants of this man owed him money, his attitude toward him was not the same as his master's attitude was toward him. He was mean and demanding and had him thrown in prison for not paying his debt. When the master heard of the treatment of this man, he called him a wicked servant. He called him in and reminded him that he forgave the debt owed to him, and he also chastised him for his lack of compassion and pity. It made the lord of this servant angry, and he changed his mind and had him thrown in prison for the debt that he owed him. He told him he would remain in prison until it was all paid. Jesus then used this story to tell his children that we must forgive our brothers and sisters of their trespasses against us, because He has forgiven us of ours. If we refuse to forgive others, the Lord will allow the torments of the devil to bring us into a prison of bitterness and pain. Unforgiveness hurts the one who carries it, more than the one who it is directed toward. One line of the Lord's Prayer gives us an example of how we should pray and ask for forgiveness. Matthew 6:12-15: 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. If we fail to forgive others, it can bring us into temptation and evil, and we can embrace a root of bitterness that will block our blessings and hinder our walk with God. The virtues of kindness, compassion and forgiveness are traits of our heavenly Father and should also be character traits of all of His children.

Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for forgiving me of all of my sins and trespasses. Father, may I always be quick to forgive others for their trespasses against me. Lord, I pray that all of Your children live in harmony with each other, and that we all possess a kind and forgiving disposition. Lord, give us love and understanding for each other in the family of God. Let us lift each other up when any of us fall down and may we have Your virtues of grace and mercy toward each other. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
