Proverbs Day

Proverbs Day (KJV): Proverbs 17:1(KJV): "Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife." Proverbs 17:1-3(Amp): "Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting (on offered sacrifices) with strife."

Thoughts for the Day The book of Proverbs is known for its many wise statements. In this verse we are told that having a little to eat in a household of peace, is better than feasting in a household of strife. Even eating the finest food does not compensate for a turbulent atmosphere. It is much better to just satisfy one's hunger and have a quiet and pleasant home, than arguing continually with plenty to eat. Many marriages are suffering today because both mates are working to obtain the "American Dream." This may include a large home, autos, food, clothing, vacations, college education for the kids, etc. While all these things are good, if families sacrifice their time together to obtain these things, they will lost what is really important. Parents should pray and ask the Lord what He desires for them to have. Perhaps a smaller home, one car, less clothing, etc. would be the answer to offset the stress that comes with trying to maintain more than one is able. Love and peace in a home are more important than the material things in a home. The Bible tells us how to have a happy home. Today many families are hurting because they have not learned how to love and serve one another. When mates are selfish it will result in bickering over things. The Bible instructs us to avoid this kind of railing. 1 Peter 3:8-12: 8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Christian husbands and wives should first of all, love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. We are called to love one another with God's kind of love, not what the world calls "love" as most of the time it is only lust. 1 John 4:7-16: 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. The kind of love that is mentioned here is not the kind of love that is in the world. God's love is selfless. He gave up His Son that we might live. In Greek there are three words for love: (1) Love that is divine, called "agape." (2) Love of high ideals, called "phileo" (our city of Philadelphia is named for this brotherly love). (3) Love of physical passion, called "eros" (from which our word "erotic" comes). Since the original text of the New Testament was written in Greek, we know the verse above is referring to "agape" love and not the other two. This is evident when we research the Greek renderings. Yes, it is better to have less and have God's love in our lives, as His love will see us through any material lack. He promises us as His children, that He will always take care of us and supply our daily needs of food and clothing. Let us be content with what we have, then the Lord can bless us with more. Hebrews 13:5: "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Prayer for the Day Dear Heavenly Father, I am thankful for all that you have provided for me. Help me not to be stressful, when I have need of certain things and I do not see how they will be supplied. My trust is in You and I know that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Lord, I am grateful for a peaceful home. Fill all who visit our home with Your peace. Let us serve those that You send to our house. Lord, I pray for marriages that are hurting because of so much stress. Show them the changes that they need to make, and give them the grace to make them. May Your peace permeate the whole body of Christ as You have intended. I ask this in Your name. Amen.

Morning Verse
"He led them forth by the right way." Psalm 107:7.


Changeful experience often leads the anxious believer to enquire "Why is it thus with me?" I looked for light, but lo, darkness came; for peace, but behold trouble. I said in my heart, my mountain standeth firm, I shall never be moved. Lord, thou dost hide Thy face, and I am troubled. It was but yesterday that I could read my title clear; to-day my evidences are bedimmed, and my hopes are clouded. Yesterday I could climb to Pisgah's top, and view the landscape o'er, and rejoice with confidence in my future inheritance; to-day, my spirit has no hopes, but many fears; no joys, but much distress. Is this part of God's plan with me? Can this be the way in which God would bring me to heaven? Yes, it is even so. The eclipse of your faith, the darkness of your mind, the fainting of your hope, all these things are but parts of God's method of making you ripe for the great inheritance upon which you shall soon enter. These trials are for the testing and strengthening of your faith--they are waves that wash you further upon the rock--they are winds which waft your ship the more swiftly towards the desired haven. According to David's words, so it might be said of you, "so He bringeth them to their desired haven." By honour and dishonour, by evil report and by good report, by plenty and by poverty, by joy and by distress, by persecution and by peace, by all these things is the life of your souls maintained, and by each of these are you helped on your way. Oh, think not, believer, that your sorrows are out of God's plan; they are necessary parts of it. "We must, through much tribulation, enter the kingdom." Learn, then, even to "count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations."

From every point our Well-beloved is most fair. Our various experiences are meant by our heavenly Father to furnish fresh standpoints from which we may view the loveliness of Jesus; how amiable are our trials when they carry us aloft where we may gain clearer views of Jesus than ordinary life could afford us! We have seen Him from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, and He has shone upon us as the sun in his strength; but we have seen Him also "from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards," and He has lost none of His loveliness. From the languishing of a sick bed, from the borders of the grave, have we turned our eyes to our soul's spouse, and He has never been otherwise than "all fair." Many of His saints have looked upon Him from the gloom of dungeons, and from the red flames of the stake, yet have they never uttered an ill word of Him, but have died extolling His surpassing charms. Oh, noble and pleasant employment to be for ever gazing at our sweet Lord Jesus! Is it not unspeakably delightful to view the Saviour in all His offices, and to perceive Him matchless in each?--to shift the kaleidoscope, as it were, and to find fresh combinations of peerless graces? In the manger and in eternity, on the cross and on His throne, in the garden and in His kingdom, among thieves or in the midst of cherubim, He is everywhere "altogether lovely." Examine carefully every little act of His life, and every trait of His character, and He is as lovely in the minute as in the majestic. Judge Him as you will, you cannot censure; weigh Him as you please, and He will not be found wanting. Eternity shall not discover the shadow of a spot in our Beloved, but rather, as ages revolve, His hidden glories shall shine forth with yet more inconceivable splendour, and His unutterable loveliness shall more and more ravish all celestial minds.

In these verses there is reference to the deliverance from Egypt, and perhaps that from Babylon: but the circumstances of travellers in those countries are also noted. It is scarcely possible to conceive the horrors suffered by the hapless traveller, when crossing the trackless sands, exposed to the burning rays of the sum. The words describe their case whom the Lord has redeemed from the bondage of Satan; who pass through the world as a dangerous and dreary wilderness, often ready to faint through troubles, fears, and temptations. Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, after God, and communion with him, shall be filled with the goodness of his house, both in grace and glory. _____________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________ God had directions for they the [Isreal] wondered in the wilderness, but our God led them all forth by the right of way,directed them as they ought to go to a city of habitation, which they themselves should inhabit. This may refer to poor travelers in general, those particular whose way lay thoughout the wilds of Arrabia where they were often at a loss. Psalms 107:1-9. _____________________________________________________________ The Bridegroom gives high praises of his spouse. In the sight of Christ believers are the excellent of the earth, fitted to be instruments for promoting his glory. The spiritual gifts and graces which Christ bestows on every true believer, are described by the ornaments then in use, ver. Song 10,11. The graces of the saints are many, but there is dependence upon each other. He who is the Author, will be the Finisher of the good work. The grace received from Christ's fulness, springs forth into lively exercises of faith, affection, and gratitude. Yet Christ, not his gifts, is most precious to them. The word translated "camphire," signifies "atonement or propitiation." Christ is dear to all believers, because he is the propitiation for their sins. No pretender must have his place in the soul. They resolved to lodge him in their hearts all the night; during the continuance of the troubles of life. Christ takes delight in the good work which his grace has wrought on the souls of believers. This should engage all who are made holy, to be very thankful for that grace which has made those fair, who by nature were deformed. The spouse (the believer) has a humble, modest eye, discovering simplicity and godly sincerity; eyes enlightened and guided by the Holy Spirit, that blessed Dove. The church expresses her value for Christ. Thou art the great Original, but I am but a faint and imperfect copy. Many are fair to look at, yet their temper renders them unpleasant: but Christ is fair, yet pleasant. The believer, ver. Song 16, speaks with praise of those holy ordinances in which true believers have fellowship with Christ. Whether the believer is in the courts of the Lord, or in retirement; whether following his daily labours, or confined on the bed of sickness, or even in a dungeon, a sense of the Divine presence will turn the place into a paradise. Thus the soul, daily having fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, enjoys a lively hope of an incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading inheritance above. ___________________________________________________________________ The church returns the commendation (v. 16). Where there is a fire of true love to Christ in the heart this will be of use to blow it up into a flame. HE HEARS MY CRY

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” – Psalm 40:1-3
As the pressures of the emptiness within begin to bear down upon us, in time we cry unto the Lord. The Hebrew here is “LOUD CRY”. Interestingly that Jesus also was ‘in all points tempted like as we are”, though without sin. And when He left the realms of Glory in the bosom of the Father, he emptied Himself, “made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men,” (Phil. 2:7). Then, “in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications WITH STRONG CRYING AND TEARS unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard…” (Heb. 5:7). He experienced the travail of the soul to its very depths, and knew the wrenching of that cry from deep within. He also came forth out of the “valley of the shadow of death” with resurrection life and glorious victory.
In all the realms areas, spheres, whatever – that man has tried, he found no inner peace. “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, all is vanity,” (Eccl. 1:2). The emptiness of things of the world, even of just going to meetings, the ceaseless cycles over and over again – until we have milked every experience dry, and it brings us to the place that we CRY LOUD from deep within. Only He can save us from the horrible pit of emptiness.
But He does hear, praise God, and He “raises us up together, and makes us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,” (Eph. 2:6). Our feet are placed upon a solid rock – a firm foundation, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and He doth establish our goings, leading onward step by step, to bring us into Himself. “That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus”. Others then shall see it, and turn unto Him who can so abundantly satisfy.

May 21 Thought of The Day
Morning Verse
"If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious." 1Peter 2:3

If:--then, this is not a matter to be taken for granted concerning every one of the human race. "If:"--then there is a possibility and a probability that some may not have tasted that the Lord is gracious. "If:"--then this is not a general but a special mercy; and it is needful to enquire whether we know the grace of God by inward experience. There is no spiritual favour which may not be a matter for heart-searching.


But while this should be a matter of earnest and prayerful inquiry, no one ought to be content whilst there is any such thing as an "if" about his having tasted that the Lord is gracious. A jealous and holy distrust of self may give rise to the question even in the believer's heart, but the continuance of such a doubt would be an evil indeed. We must not rest without a desperate struggle to clasp the Saviour in the arms of faith, and say, "I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him." Do not rest, O believer, till thou hast a full assurance of thine interest in Jesus. Let nothing satisfy thee till, by the infallible witness of the Holy Spirit bearing witness with thy spirit, thou art certified that thou art a child of God. Oh, trifle not here; let no "perhaps" and "peradventure" and "if" and "maybe" satisfy thy soul. Build on eternal verities, and verily build upon them. Get the sure mercies of David, and surely get them. Let thine anchor be cast into that which is within the veil, and see to it that thy soul be linked to the anchor by a cable that will not break. Advance beyond these dreary "ifs;" abide no more in the wilderness of doubts and fears; cross the Jordan of distrust, and enter the Canaan of peace, where the Canaanite still lingers, but where the land ceaseth not to flow with milk and honey.

Evening Verse
"There is corn in Egypt." Genesis 42:2


Famine pinched all the nations, and it seemed inevitable that Jacob and his family should suffer great want; but the God of providence, who never forgets the objects of electing love, had stored a granary for His people by giving the Egyptians warning of the scarcity, and leading them to treasure up the grain of the years of plenty. Little did Jacob expect deliverance from Egypt, but there was the corn in store for him. Believer, though all things are apparently against thee, rest assured that God has made a reservation on thy behalf; in the roll of thy griefs there is a saving clause. Somehow He will deliver thee, and somewhere He will provide for thee. The quarter from which thy rescue shall arise may be a very unexpected one, but help will assuredly come in thine extremity, and thou shalt magnify the name of the Lord. If men do not feed thee, ravens shall; and if earth yield not wheat, heaven shall drop with manna. Therefore be of good courage, and rest quietly in the Lord. God can make the sun rise in the west if He pleases, and make the source of distress the channel of delight. The corn in Egypt was all in the hands of the beloved Joseph; he opened or closed the granaries at will. And so the riches of providence are all in the absolute power of our Lord Jesus, who will dispense them liberally to His people. Joseph was abundantly ready to succour his own family; and Jesus is unceasing in His faithful care for His brethren. Our business is to go after the help which is provided for us: we must not sit still in despondency, but bestir ourselves. Prayer will bear us soon into the presence of our royal Brother: once before His throne we have only to ask and have: His stores are not exhausted; there is corn still: His heart is not hard, He will give the corn to us. Lord, forgive our unbelief, and this evening constrain us to draw largely from Thy fulness and receive grace for grace.

The Big Picture: Evil-speaking is a sign of malice and guile in the heart; and hinders our profiting by the word of God. A new life needs suitable food. Infants desire milk, and make the best endeavours for it which they are able to do; such must be a Christian's desires after the word of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is very merciful to us miserable sinners; and he has a fulness of grace. But even the best of God's servants, in this life, have only a taste of the consolations of God. Christ is called a Stone, to teach his servants that he is their protection and security, the foundation on which they are built. He is precious in the excellence of his nature, the dignity of his office, and the glory of his services. All true believers are a holy priesthood; sacred to God, serviceable to others, endowed with heavenly gifts and graces. But the most spiritual sacrifices of the best in prayer and praise are not acceptable, except through Jesus Christ. Christ is the chief Corner-stone, that unites the whole number of believers into one everlasting temple, and bears the weight of the whole fabric. Elected, or chosen, for a foundation that is everlasting. Precious beyond compare, by all that can give worth. To be built on Christ means, to believe in him; but in this many deceive themselves, they consider not what it is, nor the necessity of it, to partake of the salvation he has wrought. Though the frame of the world were falling to pieces, that man who is built on this foundation may hear it without fear. He shall not be confounded. The believing soul makes haste to Christ, but it never finds cause to hasten from him. All true Christians are a chosen generation; they make one family, a people distinct from the world: of another spirit, principle, and practice; which they could never be, if they were not chosen in Christ to be such, and sanctified by his Spirit. Their first state is a state of gross darkness, but they are called out of darkness into a state of joy, pleasure, and prosperity; that they should show forth the praises of the Lord by their profession of his truth, and their good conduct. How vast their obligations to Him who has made them his people, and has shown mercy to them! To be without this mercy is a woful state, though a man have all worldly enjoyments. And there is nothing that so kindly works repentance, as right thoughts of the mercy and love of God. Let us not dare to abuse and affront the free grace of God, if we mean to be saved by it; but let all who would be found among those who obtain mercy, walk as his people.

The Bottomline: Our Lord Jesus Christ is so very gracious to His own people. He is in Himself infinitely good. He is very kind, free, and merciful to miserable sinners. He is pitiful and good to the undeserving. Hw has in Him a fullness of grace. The graciousness of our blessed redeemer is best discovered by an experimental taste of it. There must be an organ of taste. We cannot taste at a distance, as we may see, and hear, and smell. To taste the graciousness of Jesus Christ experimentally supposes our being united with Him by faith. The best of God's servants have in this life but a taste of the grace of Jesus Christ. A taste is but a little. It is not a drought, nor does it satisfy. It is so with the consolations of God in this life. The Word of God is the great instrument whereby He discovers and communicates His grace to men. We should endeavor alway's to understand and experience more and more of His grace.

Gen. 42:1-6 The Bib Picture:

Jacob saw the corn his neighbours had bought in Egypt, and brought home. It is a spur to exertion to see others supplied. Shall others get food for their souls, and shall we starve while it is to be had? Having discovered where help is to be had, we should apply for it without delay, without shrinking from labour, or grudging expense, especially as regards our never-dying souls. There is provision in Christ; but we must come to him, and seek it from him.

The Bottomline: Abraham upon hearing there was corn in Egypt ( treasured up by the wisdom his own son), he sent out our fathers first to fetch corn. Remember the account in particular of Jacobs family in (Jacob's Family) fulling the promises is always sure yet often times very slow in it's own nature. In the promise of Abraham of making him great nation that truly becomes a branch of His own seed and had increased to 70% of whom this account came forth to where the Word of God came forth in His power as it had came in only to become a vast multitude . This is our God and how it comes about in His own people. No difference in todays times. He had taken into account in God's wisdom and authority as he sought counself and in turn had many blessings from the Lord in which he kept attending in God's ordinances, and kept his pledge[Vow] in having God's presence that surrounded them in peace in having No fear in the evil times that's in the world today so by passing through the valley of death to be into the presence of our God.

You Are Psalms

Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.Psalm 17:7

When we give our hearts with our alms, we give well, but we must often plead to a failure in this respect. Not so our Master and our Lord. His favours are always performed with the love of His heart. He does not send to us the cold meat and the broken pieces from the table of His luxury, but He dips our morsel in His own dish, and seasons our provisions with the spices of His fragrant affections. When He puts the golden tokens of His grace into our palms, He accompanies the gift with such a warm pressure of our hand, that the manner of His giving is as precious as the boon itself. He will come into our houses upon His errands of kindness, and He will not act as some austere visitors do in the poor man's cottage, but He sits by our side, not despising our poverty, nor blaming our weakness. Beloved, with what smiles does He speak! What golden sentences drop from His gracious lips! What embraces of affection does He bestow upon us! If He had but given us farthings, the way of His giving would have gilded them; but as it is, the costly alms are set in a golden basket by His pleasant carriage. It is impossible to doubt the sincerity of His charity, for there is a bleeding heart stamped upon the face of all His benefactions. He giveth liberally and upbraideth not. Not one hint that we are burdensome to Him; not one cold look for His poor pensioners; but He rejoices in His mercy, and presses us to His bosom while He is pouring out His life for us. There is a fragrance in His spikenard which nothing but His heart could produce; there is a sweetness in His honey-comb which could not be in it unless the very essence of His soul's affection had been mingled with it. Oh! the rare communion which such singular heartiness effecteth! May we continually taste and know the blessedness of it!

Those that trust in God have many enemies, but they have One Friend that is able to deal with every single things in our life alway's and forever unto the Name of Jesus Christ whom stands along side of us and watches over us daily.

Prayer:Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. "Heavenly Father, I see that it is through Your Word that I have access to wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. So I covenant with You to always give voice to Your Word. I will not allow my voice to speak the words of the enemy. I will give him no place in my life. But I give place to Your Word and Your Spirit. Dear Precious Heavenly Father,
I bow in worship and praise before you. I plead the Blood of Jesus on my entire physical body, on my entire soul and on my entire spirit. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any demons that may attempt to come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any humans that may try come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any natural accidents or catastrophe's that may come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any diseases, illnesses or sicknesses that could possibly come against me. Father, in the name of Jesus, I have full faith and belief that the Blood of Jesus will always protect me. Father, I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to You. I gladly put myself into Your hands and I am more than willing to let You find a way to release Yourself through me. I take a stand against all the workings of satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. Satan, the name our Lord Jesus Christ, commands you to leave my presence with all your demons, I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us and against you, and I address myself only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of satan in my prayer.
Father, the name of Jesus Christ, takes authority over every principality, every demonic spirit, and every spiritual wickedness in high places. The name of Jesus Christ has bound the spirit of fear, anxiety, depression, oppression, weariness, doubt, stress, bitterness, jealousy, unforgiveness, failure and poverty, and cast them out of my life, and the name of Jesus Christ has loosed the fruits of the spirit and prosperity in my life. Because the Blood of Jesus Christ covers me, satan has no power over my life, or anything that pertains to me. Therefore in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, satan is rendered helpless, powerless, and ineffective against my life.
Heavenly Father, I recognize that You are more than worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance and my vows to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer. I am thankful that in Jesus, you have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and my strength. I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the Cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies. I take my place with Him in the heavenlies and recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and I rejoice in Your mercy and goodness Lord.
I am thankful for the whole Armor of God You have provided. I put on the whole Armor of God and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit. I put on the Girdle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the Shield of Faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy; and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and I choose to use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life.
I am grateful, Heavenly Father, which the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life this day. I reject all the insinuations, accusations, and the temptations of satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true and I choose to live this day in the light of God's Word. I choose, Heavenly Father, to live in obedience to You and in fellowship with You. Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please You, and then work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give satan a foothold against me. Heavenly Father, open my eyes each and every day that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for me. Oh Father, when You said seek my face, my heart cried out to You, your face Lord will I seek. I choose not to be conformed to this world, but choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Father, I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of Your will for my life. I pray that Your power and Your anointing shall be upon me, and that when the enemy comes against me one way, the Holy Spirit will force him to flee from before me seven different ways. I pray and believe that every trap the enemy sets for me will backfire on him, and work out for my good, which is for Your glory; for You said all things work together for the good, for those who love the Lord, who are called according to Your purpose. Satan the blood of Jesus Christ is against you. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring my every thought captive into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, in my own life, the name of Jesus tear down every stronghold of satan and binds the enemy’s plans that have been formed against me and cast them out of my life. Father in the name of Jesus, I bind every stronghold of satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You Lord, and I ask please let your mind be in me as it is in Christ Jesus. I affirm, Heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Father in the name of Jesus, I bind every stronghold of satan formed against my will; I surrender my will to You and choose to make the right decisions of faith for my life. Father, in name Jesus I bind every stronghold of satan formed against my body; and I surrender my body to You recognizing that my body is the temple of the Almighty Living God and a dwelling place for His Holy Spirit and I will rejoice in knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ covers me.
Father, your Word says when a thief is found he MUST restore everything that he has taken sevenfold. The WORD of GOD declares that satan came to steal, kill and destroy, and the Holy Spirit has exposed everything that he has taken away. Therefore, according to God’s Holy Word, satan the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth commands you to RESTORE EVERYTHING you took away SEVENFOLD. The name of Jesus Christ commands you take your hands off my finances, job, my home and my marriage right now in the name of Jesus. Father, your word says that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven; whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I bind every stronghold of the enemy that have been holding back our financial blessings, and in the name of Jesus I loose prosperity in our life according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Father, I pray and believe that You are blessing me and causing me to prosper in all I do, that You are enlarging my territories, and that Your hand is with me to keep me from evil, so that it would not cause me pain. Father, I speak to the seven Spirits who are before Your throne, to impart into my life blessings. I speak forth: The Spirit of the Lord, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. Father we call forth our financial blessings right NOW in the name of Jesus, Oh Lord, we pray send NOW Your prosperity!
Father, please allow the Holy Spirit rest upon me, the spirit of wisdom and revelation, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And give me quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and Father let me not judge after the sight of my eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of my ears. Proverbs Day

Proverbs Day (KJV):

Proverbs 16:32(KJV): "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city."

Thoughts for the Day

In the book of Proverbs we find many profound truths, that when applied to our lives, will bring great victories. This verse about anger is one such truth. To experience anger is not sinful, as the Bible says that God Himself is angry about certain things. Anger is an emotion that every human being experiences at times. In fact, we should be angry when we see injustice and ill treatment toward human beings. God is angry when He sees the things that sinful people commit, that bring sorrow and tragedy to others who are innocent. He never wanted humans to kill one another or to exploit one another. The sin is not in experiencing anger, but rather in how we deal with it. We can turn our anger into prayer, which in turn can change the things we see that are wrong.

If we allow our anger to turn into vindictiveness and we practice the same kind of evil that was sent our way, then we become just as guilty as the one who we are angry at. We are told in scripture that we are to overcome evil with good and not to render evil for evil.

Romans 12:18-21:
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Many domestic quarrels could be avoided if each spouse practiced the admonition in today's Proverb. So many couples just allow their emotions to rule them. Then they begin to rail at each other with hurtful words, that if continued, will eventually destroy their marriages. So what should we do when we become angry at an injustice? First, we should be willing to examine our own heart as to why we are reacting with such anger ourselves. Are we justified in being angry or are we prideful and partially to blame for what is happening? We should go to God in prayer and take our anger to Him and ask Him how we are to deal with the situation. We must be just as willing for the Lord to change us, as change the one we are angry at. Unforgiveness and bitterness are sins just as deadly, if not deadlier, than some of the more common sins. We must deal with our anger quickly so that it does not turn into a bitter root of unforgiveness. This sin can block our blessings and destroy us. We should deal with anger the same day we experience it.

Ephesians 4:26-27: "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil."

1 Peter 3:8-9: "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing."

Hebrews 12:14-15: "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."

God has asked us, His children, to love our enemies and to forgive those who have trespassed against us. This is an impossible thing to do without God's grace. I cannot love my enemies and neither can you, without the grace of God to do it. We have to call on God to do this impossible thing. However, God never asks us to do something that we cannot do. But to do this, we must be endued with power through the Holy Spirit. Only God's kind of love is sufficient for the task. If we refuse to allow the Lord to do this in us and we harbor unforgiveness, then we block God from forgiving us.

Matthew 6:14-15: "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Proverbs 16:32 says that to be slow to anger is better than the mighty. Self control (temperance) is a virtue and a fruit of the Spirit that we must cultivate if we are to do any mighty works for God. We must be able to control our temper, as this is part of controlling our spirit. When we are able to do this, the Bible says it is better than taking a whole city. When a man can rule his own life through the power of the Holy Spirit, then he is fit to rule a city.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for being patient with me in times past, when I know my sins caused you grief and anger. Help me to have the same kind of patience and love toward those who cause me to be angry. Lord, I choose to love them, and thank you for your power to demonstrate that love. Father, I do forgive all who would sin against me and I ask You to bless them with the knowledge of Your love and truth. Lord, I pray especially for all my brothers and sisters in the Lord. May we all walk in Your love and forgiveness toward each other so that the world may see Your love in us and as they witness this love, may they desire to know You, the God of love. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Stick To The Lord and Do Not Let Go

Hello To All of You This morning I've been studying the word of God and saw in my own time of study and really looked at some things and coming to think about how much today's paper and new's is on killing's, murders, and out right hurting innocent people for other's saying turn away from your God or else this or that will happen to You and your entire family. Oh, how this unjustice is making me cry and hurt for all of those people. And the worst of all is how those very same folk's are influtrating our united states by the schools of those boks that our children are reading today and how some of the people have turned their back on God and what it means to us whom have grown up here for many, many years. Now we see it going on today that just turns our stomachs and it makes us puke because of this going on today, which suppose to be founded on God and His Son Jesus Christ and the Bible. What happened? This nation was blind sighted and took the bait and is still runnuing rampet in the packs of lie's of what the ravishing wolves stolen that was sold to this nation and it so-called bill of goods. One say all truths will come out and many of us will not what happens to us at the end when we alone will be facing God in His judgment seat..." Where we be hading then ..One might say to self" It will be us ..self .. entering heavens Gate and dine with God ... or heading down to the pits of hell.... self really will see it then..... I pray it will be more than I could possibly count to heading to home in glory. I put ALL dreams and hope in the Lord..Yes, I've been saved and baptised in a local church in my hometown and it was witnessed by others. I just hope that in my sever heart attack and several mini stroke that I haven't left nothing out in my confessions of my precious Lord in sterring me home to be with him forever. I pray for the lost daily to find those truths! It's not to late for anyone to come to terms in the Lord and find one's own way home to be with Him. A least that's how I feel about it ! You really don't have to agree or disagree with it. It's what i've felt for a very long time now ..I just never had any courage to speak about it till now. If people would really looked at the message instead of the messenger then you would see such truths that I live for in my own walk with God. My own Heart Runs solely after God!




For I have read in my own study time in Numbers 16: 1-50 and have to come to see such truths one more time within my own spirit in knowing just what "Cain's descendents are doing to today with countless of people in this world today. They are literally threatening people in whom they ought to see in those people to truly believe in that Islamic Militants are doing to people in handing down one's own judgments if they don't choose their way of life! It's so sad to read about on the net, or on the news reports all of the time. It's terrorism by the billions of poeple losing lives by the sake of those hands of the militants hands of some kind of very ugly executions of some sort. And the sad thing about often times with No support of any kind or help to keep those people away either. No, wonder our men and women are fight this batle for us to be sticking by them and always lifting them up in our prayers, and thier families whom son's and daughter whom parents are fight for those lives in keeping the United States safe. My own hat is off to all of those men and women whom are overseas fighting for us at this very moment and they are always in our prayers in our home. After 9/11 it made me come to know what I want for my country and what I don't want for my country today..I stand for what God I have in this nation since I was a baby first born and was raised as a God fearing nation in what Jesus Christ stands for.. I don't care what other's think of me just what our God cares about in His Word and how I ought to be just like He in my own walk in the Lord. If other's whom have inported over here don't like then ..Please, Do me a favor and head right back in the very same direction You came and stay where You came from... becuase I love my america of the united states and I TRULY love All that God has gave us which has been a gift by being in obedience unto His word . That's where I am right now today..doing my very own best in serving my God first, family, this country, then everything else falls where it's suppose to be! I don't want to have to face simliar things in the scripture that I have already shared with you in having that type of consequences come about me or my own family, let alone other's in our nation, or other countries as it had shown me today. I'm not a smart person, I've not a document of any kind of degree of any sort at all! I just believe in Jesus Christ and the father God and the Holy Ghost in what I have been learning throughout my life in what it stands for not only in self but in others to have what has ben given so freely as a gift from God. I don't know if this makes sence at all but I do my best! I don't like the sins of people have but they are people just like me, the just have taken on a sinners life and some show it right out in the public arena's in t.v. and other means that they do it. I pray for them all to hae a face to face meeting in God in Him showing His truths. I'm not thier jusdge or jury... to tell you the truth it's not mine to do ..it's all God's and His own Son Jesus whom will that kind of a judgment on that day.

The friendship of the wicked is more dangerous than their enmity; for none can prevail against God's people if they are not overcome by their inbred lusts; nor can any enchantment hurt them, but the enticements of worldly interests and pleasures. Here is the sin of Israel, to which they are enticed by the daughters of Moab and Midian. Those are our worst enemies who draw us to sin, for that is the greatest mischief any man can do us. Israel's sin did that which all Balaam's

enchantments could not do; it set God against them. Diseases are the fruits of God's anger, and the just punishments of prevailing sins; one infection follows the other. Ringleaders in sin ought to be made examples of justice. (Nu 25:6-15)

And those who desire thus to give themselves up to be led by the Holy Spirit, are not under the law as a covenant of works, nor exposed to its awful curse.

one another, so here he chiefly notices the fruits of the Spirit, which tend to make Christians agreeable one to another, as well as to make them happy. The fruits of the Spirit plainly show, that such are led by the Spirit. These are those thing's that our God hates that is peoples natures that are in this worldly system that they display daily as one recognize them of those unhealthy fruits that just are not of God. THe "Results" are Those whom are carnal and live that way of life, sensual life, whom by the way are enjoying themselves their thoughts are on mainly themselves with owns cares and spend alot of time in the flesh in what they do daily and often times being repeated and often times with No reprimand in sight for those types of people as we see it go on day to day basis. But oten times They often times expect others to follow with them as some type of an excuse as an enjoyment as some type of entertainment in a full blown corruption but in reality it will be short lived for a time and perhaps seasons but at it's end they will come to ruin and a full fledged misery ay it's very end. But to those whom are devoted to God character and His influences of the spirit of God has such a devoted life unto Jesus Christ and it's usefulness and service as they seek Him and have the fullest trust and comfort in their present life which bring peace with all hopes of the eternal life whom are in the household of one's faith. How they are total contradict each other to it's truest form.

Seven things hateful to God.

If the slothful are to be condemned, who do nothing, much more those that do all the ill they can. Observe how such a man is described. He says and does every thing artfully, and with design. His ruin shall come without warning, and without relief. Here is a list of things hateful to God. Those sins are in a special manner provoking to God, which are hurtful to the comfort of human life. These things which God hates, we must hate in ourselves; it is nothing to hate them in others.

Let us shun all such practices, and watch and pray against them; and avoid, with marked disapproval, all who are guilty of them, whatever may be their rank. (Pr 6:20-35)

The happy end of God's correction.

Eliphaz gives to Job a word of caution and exhortation: Despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. Call it a chastening, which comes from the Father's love, and is for the child's good; and notice it as a messenger from Heaven. Eliphaz also encourages Job to submit to his condition. A good man is happy though he be afflicted, for he has not lost his enjoyment of God, nor his title to heaven; nay, he is happy because he is afflicted. Correction mortifies his corruptions, weans

his heart from the world, draws him nearer to God, brings him to his Bible, brings him to his knees. Though God wounds, yet he supports his people under afflictions, and in due time delivers them. Making a wound is sometimes part of a cure. Eliphaz gives Job precious promises of what God would do for him, if he humbled himself. Whatever troubles good men may be in, they shall do them no real harm. Being kept from sin, they are kept from the evil of trouble. And if the servants of Christ are not

delivered from outward troubles, they are delivered by them, and while overcome by one trouble, they conquer all. Whatever is maliciously said against them shall not hurt them. They shall have wisdom and grace to manage their concerns. The greatest blessing, both in our employments and in our enjoyments, is to be kept from sin. They shall finish their course with joy and honour. That man lives long enough who has done his work, and is fit for another world. It is a mercy to die seasonably, as

the corn is cut and housed when fully ripe; not till then, but then not suffered to stand any longer. Our times are in God's hands; it is well they are so. Believers are not to expect great wealth, long life, or to be free from trials. But all will be ordered for the best. And remark from Job's history, that steadiness of mind and heart under trial, is one of the highest attainments of faith. There is little exercise for faith when all things go well. But if God raises a storm, permits the

enemy to send wave after wave, and seemingly stands aloof from our prayers, then, still to hang on and trust God, when we cannot trace him, this is the patience of the saints. Blessed Saviour! how sweet it is to look unto thee, the Author and Finisher of faith, in such moments!

12Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; Psalm 94:12.

Comfort and peace to the persecuted.

That man is blessed, who, under the chastening of the Lord, is taught his will and his truths, from his holy word, and by the Holy Spirit. He should see mercy through his sufferings. There is a rest remaining for the people of God after the days of their adversity, which shall not last always. He that sends the trouble, will send the rest. The psalmist found succour and relief only in the Lord, when all earthly friends failed. We are beholden, not only to God's power, but to his

pity, for spiritual supports; and if we have been kept from falling into sin, or shrinking from our duty, we should give him the glory, and encourage our brethren. The psalmist had many troubled thoughts concerning the case he was in, concerning the course he should take, and what was likely to be the end of it. The indulgence of such contrivances and fears, adds to care and distrust, and renders our views more gloomy and confused. Good men sometimes have perplexed and distressed thoughts

concerning God. But let them look to the great and precious promises of the gospel. The world's comforts give little delight to the soul, when hurried with melancholy thoughts; but God's comforts bring that peace and pleasure which the smiles of the world cannot give, and which the frowns of the world cannot take away. God is his people's Refuge, to whom they may flee, in whom they are safe, and may be secure. And he will reckon with the wicked. A man cannot be more miserable than his own wickedness will make him, if the Lord visit it upon him.

Footnote: These fruits of the Spirit, in whom ever they are found, plainly shows that such are alway's led by the Holy Ghost Spirit, and consequently they are under No kind of Law. It's totally all of those actions that All sinner's have that our God hates not the person. Jesus Christ emply His people to make a difference as we serve Him Simply because He's declared in creation of this worls and in changing it just as Jesus Christ had folded up His garment so is this world will change and it will be put away for the Glory of the Lord. Let us Not set our hearts upon that which is Not what we take it to be, and will not be what it used to be.
