VALLEY OF DRY BONES

As we begin to unravel a portion of this chapter, we notice in verse one that Ezekiel is given a vision. He is carried away in the spirit and is set down in the midst of a valley full of bones. This valley may be identified with the valley in Psalm chapter twenty-three.

"Yea, though I walk through the VALLEY of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..."

In both instances the valley seems to depict the complete earth. Every person walks through the valley of the shadow of death, because that is where our temporal existence is. We are constantly in the shadow of death as we live out our lives in this world. The only difference is that the true believer is to fear no evil, because the Lord is with him, as Psalm 23:4 assures us. Ezekiel is given a glimpse of this valley, which would typical of the entire world. Ezekiel sees that it is full of bones.

Moreover, this valley may spiritually signify the curse upon the earth, which God put upon it.

Genesis 3:19

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out if it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

This is the curse of which God bestowed upon Adam and Eve, and thus the human race. The sentence is death. Man is condemned to the eternal death of this present earth. The word “ground” in the above verse is also translated in the Hebrew as “earth,” “soil” and “land.” It is representative of this temporal earth in its present condition. “For dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” “Dust” is also a word that is interchangeable in the Hebrew with soil, earth, ground and land. All having a cursed earth in view.

A skeleton is the final form of man before he turns back into the dust of the earth. This ground, dust, land, or earth can be identified in Scripture with valley. It is this valley that is man’s “testing ground”; the arena of God’s purpose, separated in its midst by two mountains (kingdoms), both spiritual – God’s and Satan’s. All whom God plans to save out of this valley of death will be saved, for Christ said:

John 6:39

“And this is the father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lost nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

We read an interesting confirmation of this promise in Jeremiah 31:40 as it is fulfilled in eternity’s New Heaven and New Earth.

And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever,”

Before man is saved out of this “valley of the shadow of death,” he is facing God’s eternal judgment:

“Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision,” (Joel 3:4).

“Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about,” (Joel 3:13).

The meaning of the name “Jehoshaphat” is “Jehovah has judged.” Every human ever born on this earth has walked through this valley of judgment, this valley of the shadow of death. “Many are called, but few are chosen,” Scripture tell us. Except for the mercy and grace of God the father, all would continue as dry bones in this great valley, void of any spiritual life.

In verse 3 God poses a most important question to Ezekiel: "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel's answer was "Thou knowest." From this point on God spends the next 25 verses showing the prophet how He (that is God) will cause these bones to live.

LO, THEY WERE VERY DRY

In verse 4 we see that these bones are "DRY" bones. The Hebrew translation defines this word "dry" as: "to be ashamed"; "to be confounded"; "to wither away"; or to be "dried up." This is indeed the spiritual implication. When we read of God drying up waters or trees or bones in Scripture, it means one thing: IT IS VOID OF SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING - IT IS LACKING ETERNAL LIFE. They are ashamed and confounded. They have spiritually withered away.

In recalling Psalm chapter 22, which is a prophecy of Christ as He hung on the cross, we note that it states in verse fifteen "... my strength is DRIED up like a potsherd ..." This word “dried” is the same Hebrew word that we see here is Ezekiel: “O ye dry bones,” or “Lo, they were very dry.” Christ wasn't merely referring to His physical "strength" being dried up, although His body was dehydrated and He did thirst physically. Scripture tells us of Christ on the cross: “My strength is dried up like a potsherd.” The word "strength" here in Psalm 22:15 means His ability, His power, His might, and His strength. All were "dried up." Not only was He dried physically, but also spiritually Christ hung on the cross burdened with the sins of all believers.

Christ was, in every sense, spiritually dried while He hung on the cross. He was ashamed and confounded (dried spiritually) which was part of His punishment for our sins. Christ, God incarnate, went into hell as a doomed sinner for us, and came out after three days. Christ experienced the awfulness of being without hope, as are these bones in Ezekiel.

The next question we might ask ourselves is how can bones take on human feelings such as being confounded or ashamed? Of course God is using "bones" as an analogy or metaphor in portraying the lost sinner. The Hebrew word for “bone” in the Old Testament can mean "the whole substance of man." In verse 4 God commands Ezekiel to say unto these bones "HEAR the word of the Lord." These bones would clearly never hear the Word of God if God didn't command them to Hear, as He does in this verse. If God doesn't command them to hear, they would remain as dry bones. Therefore, because God Himself commands these bones to "hear" His Word, thus we know that these bones are representative of His elect. Christ, our Good Shepherd, has called them forth unto eternal life.

Before we look at how God brings these bones to life, we first need to understand why God uses this picture of bones. Ezekiel sees a great open valley filled with bones that were very dry. They were dry because they had physically been there a long time. More importantly they were there because they were representative of mankind in its unregenerate state, i.e. dead to Christ, the God of Creation.

These bones were displayed throughout the valley, meaning they were scattered. Keep that in mind. This scene pictures (in parabolic fashion) the destination of all of God’s elect, had He not predestinated them to eternal life. They would be just as doomed as the rest of the world – the enemies of God.

SCRIBES AND PHARISEES: DEAD MEN’S BONES

Jesus gives us a great clue concerning dry bones in Matthew chapter 23 where He says:

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward but are within ... FULL OF DEAD MEN'S BONES,..."

The Scribes and Pharisees were religious hypocrites, Jesus says. They were like whited sepulchers; that is they were like tombs that were washed clean. Outwardly they appeared sincere, but inwardly (that is spiritually) they were full of dead men's bones, and Christ adds "and of all uncleanness." They were spiritually dead. Christ Clearly associates dead men's bones with being unclean. “Dead men’s bones” is clearly a term referring to one's spiritual decay.

In Numbers 19:16 we read the following:

"And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a BONE OF A MAN, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days."

In the above verse God is contrasting four distinct nouns (slain, dead body, grave and bone) and is attaching them to one another for the common meaning, which is death. All four words have death in view. Recall that Christ told the Scribes and Pharisees that in addition to being full of dead men's bones, they were full of all uncleanness. To be unclean "seven days" would spiritually represent the unsaved. Christ might have had Numbers nineteen in view when He rebuked the Scribes and the Pharisees. Having touched dead men's bones - you are unclean. Thus the Scribes and Pharisees wee sepulchers with a “whited” appearance, but inwardly unclean, full of dead men’s bones.

THESE BONES: SCATTERED

Another condition of these bones in the valley of Ezekiel Chapter 37 is that they were no doubt broken. While this chapter doesn't say this, one would logically reason that a skeleton that lies in an open field eventually breaks down and its bones become broken and scattered. Ezekiel doesn’t mention the fact that these bones were scattered, however this is a parable depicting dry, scattered and thus broken bones. We read in Psalm 53:5 the following:

“God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee ..."

Spiritually the implication is that one’s whole being or substance is scattered. Remember "bones" can mean “one’s whole substance.” Not only are these dried bones scattered, but they are broken as well.

When God brought Israel out of bondage from Egypt, that grand event of the Exodus pictured the believer being brought out of bondage from sin and into Christ. Numbers Chapter 24:8 in speaking of Israel might ultimately have Christ in view:

"God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn;”

When Scripture speaks of a unicorn, it is usually in reference to God's power. If this verse has Israel in view, it is ultimately God’s spiritual Israel – all believers being typified by Old Testament national Israel. This verse, however, lends much evidence in typifying Christ as our highest “Israel.” Numbers 24:8 continues:

" He shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows."

Israel of old was ordained to carry forth the Word of God just as the New Testament spiritual Israel - the Church - is ordained to preach the Gospel. The Word of God will do one of two things: it will break the bones of Israel's enemies, or it will bring one to his knees in repentance, that he may be eternally saved. God's eternal Israel will "break the bones" of their enemies, Numbers tells us. And who are the enemies of Israel? The entire world that has not come to Christ with a broken and a contrite heart. All who forsake God's salvation plan. These are they who spiritually have had their "bones broken." THEY WILL REMAIN IN THEIR SINS AND TRESPASSES!

When Christ hung of the Cross for the sins of the lost sheep of the House of Israel, why was it so important that none of His bones should be broken? John 19:36 tells us:

"For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, a bone of him shall not be broken."

CHRIST: GOD’S SACRIFICIAL LAMB

Chchrist was crucified in fulfillment of Old Testament Scripture. Again, why was it crucial that a bone of Christ should not be broken? Because Christ was the sacrificial “lamb of God.” John the Baptist took his first look at Christ and declared:

“Behold, the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.”

Crist was foreshadowed by the sacrifice of the Old Testament Passover Lamb. Every year as the Hebrews celebrated their freedom from Egypt at the Passover, every household would sacrifice a lamb. This lamb would have to be without spot and without blemish, thus being a spiritual picture of God’s true Sacrificial Lamb, Christ Himself, howbeit unknown to Israel at that time. In addition to this, the lamb was not to have any broken bones. We read this in Exodus 12:46:

"Neither shall ye break a bone thereof."

The reason God could not allow Christ to suffer any type of a broken bone was in keeping with His Holy and infallible Word with regard to the tradition of the Old Testament sacrificial lamb. While this played an important part, yet the real intent behind this tradition was to disclose in Scripture the truth that God’s own Son would someday be the Sacrificial Lamb (without spiritual spot, blemish or broken bones), who would take away the sin of all true followers of Christ. Our Lord was spotless (worthy) in the spiritual sense to qualify as God’s own Sacrificial Lamb. Only God could meet these qualifications for this task. Thus God sent Himself in the second person of the Deity – the Son of God – yet God Himself. God allowed Christ to become sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21), and stood in place of our judgment in order to spare us from the blackness of eternal hell. As Christ atoned for the damnable sins of His elect, He (God incarnate) sank to the lowest spiritual depths of hell, becoming a worm (Psalm 22:6), and a serpent (Numbers 21:9; John 3:14) for us, thus fulfilling the demand for a ransom (Matthew 20:28).

Spiritually and physically Christ’s bones were not to be broken; a testimony to His Divinity. If we are not trusting exclusively on Christ for salvation, we are yet a living corpse, plagued by sins that can never be atoned for apart from Christ. At journey’s end, a Christ less life withers away into bones and dust …

“to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever,” (Jude 1:13).

CAN THESE BONES LIVE?

“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.” (Psalm 6:2)

Was the Psalmist calling for a physical healing for his bones? No, Christ did not come to grant physical healing. "Therefore when Psalm. 6:2 says "heal me; for my bones are vexed," it is speaking of spiritual healing - SALVATION. My bones - my whole substance is vexed - HEAL ME O LORD.

The valley of dry bones that Ezekiel sees is a description – a spiritual overview – of how God perceives His children apart from Him. God will bring back the captivity of His people. We have fallen from grace in the Garden of Eden where God could have left us, doomed forever. There is none righteous in the earth, Romans 3:10 tells us. We are all deserving of God's punishment. But God, in His incomprehensible love and mercy, has chosen to keep a remnant out of this lost race, and has chosen to make His remnant heirs to His eternal Kingdom.

"Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad."

(Ps. 53:6)

Who are Jacob and Israel if not the Church? Who is to be glad? Who shall rejoice? Concerning the blessings of God, Jesus says on the Sermon on the Mount: "Rejoice and be exceeding glad." Christ tells all believers in Revelation 19:7:

“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready."

Jacob shall be glad and Israel shall rejoice. That is the entire body of believers - Old and New Testament.

God has brought back the captivity of His people, Jacob and Israel. Jacob, whose name God changed to “Israel” is another Old Testament shadow and/or type of Christ and His Church: those whom God has circumcised, not in the flesh but in the heart. All have been saved out of this valley of judgment, and made to rejoice and be glad, for Christ hath redeemed us for Himself.

AND I WILL CAUSE BREATH TO ENTER INTO YOU

“Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:” (Ezekiel 37:5)

The breath that is spoken of is much more than physical breath. God has given breath to all people in a bodily sense. God is speaking here of spiritual breath. When God bestows His Holy Spirit upon men, it is symbolized by breath or wind.

“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:” (John 20:22)

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)

It is interesting to note that the Holy Ghost is typified by breath and again by wind that is blown. It was Christ’s own breath that was blown on the disciples in John 20:22, which signified the Holy Ghost. When the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the world, beginning in Jerusalem at Pentecost, it was done in the form of a “rushing mighty wind,” Acts 2:2. A “rushing” mighty wind depicts a great blowing of wind. It is this same rushing wind, this spiritual breath that God will put into these dry bones. Ezekiel 37:9 further confirms that God’s Holy Spirit is symbolized by His breath.

“Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” (Ezekiel 37:9)

God is absolutely collating the “wind” with “breathe” and “breath’ as we see from the above verse. God is calling to the wind to breathe spiritual life into these bones, these “slain” upon the valley floor. Ezekiel chapter thirty-seven depicts man’s spiritually destitute condition before God applies His Holy Spirit to us. This word "BREATH" is the same Hebrew word that is translated "SPIRIT" in reference to God throughout Scripture. It is also translated as "WIND." Of course "wind," as we have seen, is figurative for God’s Holy Spirit. “Wind” at times may also symbolize judgment or trials as well.

Notice that it is God Himself who causes His breath to enter into these dried bones, thus causing them to live.

By breathing into these bones, god is putting His law into our inward parts. He is writing His Law in our hearts, as Jeremiah 31:33 foretold:

“but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

Consider also Romans 2:29:

“But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

In verse six of Ezekiel chapter thirty-seven we see further evidence that God does all the saving. He will lay sinews upon us. He will bring up flesh upon us. He will cover us with skin. He will put breath in us. After all of this God says that "THEN" we shall know that He is the Lord. One must be born-again before we truly know who God is. It is only after God gives us this new heart that we are able to say in all sincerity that … “I KNOW GOD.”

Many people today confess that they know God. Sadly, however, their confession amounts to only a few scattered bits of head knowledge, without the real desire to serve Christ in a humble way. Christ says that they honour Him with their lips, but their heart is far from Him.

Millions of people today worldwide declare that they know God, and yet have never been taken out of this valley of dry bones. They may have a concept of who or what God is, according to their own reasoning, but they have never come to Him with a broken and a contrite heart. Therefore they do not really know Him, they have only heard of Him. We should all ask ourselves ... do we really know Christ, or do we merely know of Him?

A NOISE AND A SHAKING

In Ezekiel 37 God is bringing His elect into eternal salvation. In verse 7 Ezekiel says:

"So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone."

God is bringing about the first resurrection of every believer. This is not accomplished in one instance, as this verse might indicate. This is a spiritual parable. To be baptized or resurrected in the spirit is when God calls you to spiritual life. This is done throughout man's history, but mainly within the era of the Church Age. As God opens up the spiritual eyes and ears of every believer, He is bringing them into His fold. He is doing a spiritual miracle within the soul of that person. "...THERE WAS A NOISE, AND BEHOLD A SHAKING, AND THE BONES CAME TOGETHER..." verse 7 tells us. No one can really give us the exact time that they were truly quickened in the Spirit. No one knows the day or hour when Christ acted upon His promise to His elect. God indeed knows it all. But when this does occur in every real Christian's life, what is the NOISE and the SHAKING that verse 7 speaks of? You might ask yourself, “did I hear a great noise and did I feel a great shaking once I became saved?

Of course not, however this noise that God speaks of is also translated as “to call aloud, voice, sound or thunder.” It is used most often in Scripture as depicting the voice of God. We are on solid biblical ground in presuming that the noise that is spoken of in verse seven might well be God’s hidden voice or call to that spiritual corpse to “awake” unto eternal life. Much like Christ called forth Lazarus out of the tomb.

It is intriguing to notice that the word “shaking” as used in verse seven “…there was a noise, and behold a shaking …” is translated “rushing” as well as “quaking, commotion and noise.” Recall that we saw in Acts 2:2 that the Holy Spirit (spiritual life) was given at Pentecost in the form of a rushing wind? When we look at Jeremiah 11:16 God reveals more information concerning the calling forth of His elect from their spiritual graves. As highlighted on the previous page, this verse tells us that God called thee forth with the “noise of a great tumult.” The Hebrew defines this word “tumult” as: a sound’ to rush (as rain with a windy roar). God indeed calls forth His own with a great and invisible noise and shaking, heard only in the third heaven of our Lord’s throne.

On the previous page we also highlighted Haggai 2:7, which reads:

“And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.”

This word “shake” is the same Hebrew word as “shaking” here in our study of Ezekiel chapter thirty-seven. God is prophesying in Old Testament days of a time when He will call the Gentile nations to salvation in addition to the Hebrew nation of Israel. Haggai 2:7 continues by saying “and the desire of nations shall come …” Scripture, however, teaches that no man will come to Christ on his own accord. No man will have this type of a desire. Looking closely at this word “desire” we discover that it is associated with the spiritual fruits of the nations. It is also translated as “goodly, pleasant or precious.” The desire of the nations shall come to God. That is God’s chosen from among all nations will be shaken and awaken into spiritual life with an Inaudible noise and the rushing of God’s mighty and invisible Holy Ghost.

BONE TO HIS BONE

"So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone." (Ezekiel 37:7)

At first glance we may pass over this verse simply picturing it as the bones of each person coming together upon his own frame. But perhaps Scripture shows us more than each man's bones being reassembled upon his own skeletal structure. Verse seven states that the bones came together, bone to His bone. The Hebrew is not clear whether this is “his” or “its” bones. The New King James translates the verse as “bone to bone.” Supposing the old King James is the accurate translation, and there’s a good chance it is. It doesn’t say bone to their bone, but … “bone to his bone.” Whose bone is “his bone?” All of the elect are grafted into Christ’s bones spiritually speaking. Ephesians 5:30 says:

"For we are members of His body [that is Christ’s body of course]. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of "his bones.""

When we go back to Genesis and read of the creation of the first woman, we see that she was created from Adam's bone, or his rib. In Genesis 2:23 Adam says the following concerning his wife Eve:

"And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh..."

Eve was made from Adam's bone just as the believer is spiritually made from Christ's bones. Remember Ephesians 5:30, we the believers are members of Christ’s body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

Adam was a picture of Christ, while Eve was altogether a picture of the bride of Christ - His Church. Therefore, it is no wonder that God has placed such a high regard and sanctity upon marriage. Some Christians know and understand that Adam was a picture of Christ and Eve a picture of the Church, the bride of Christ. How many have considered what God did to Adam while Eve was being formed, since Eve was created from Adam’s bones or rib? Recall in Genesis 2:21, God caused a “deep sleep” to fall upon Adam, during which time God took Adam's rib or bone and formed Eve. This all took place during the time that Adam was in this deep sleep. Both of these words in the Hebrew "DEEP and SLEEP" can be used figuratively to imply death. What was Christ required to do in order for His bride, the Church, to be born? Philippians 2:28 says:

"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross,"

Christ had to die at the cross in order for His bride to be formed from His spiritual bones. The deep sleep that God put upon Adam while creating Eve may well be a picture of Christ’s atonement, who was required to suffer the death of the cross and the agony of hell in order to atone for the sins of His elect, thus creating a bride for Himself.

In Ezekiel we see God bringing these bones together … Bone to his bone. This is accomplished only when Christ speaks: His voice, His thundering, His noise, this great spiritual awakening, and this great spiritual shaking within our souls.

"Awake thou that sleepest [Adam’s deep sleep?] and arise from the dead,[dead is associated with sleepest] and Christ shall give thee light," (Ephesians 5:14)

FOUR WINDS

God first tells the prophet Ezekiel to prophesy upon these bones. When we go to verse nine we find God again commanding Ezekiel to prophesy. This time God tells him to prophesy unto the wind. Ezekiel is to speak to the wind and say to the wind that God has commanded the wind to come from the "four winds" and breath upon these slain bones. It is interesting to note in verse nine that when God speaks of wind, He labels it as "O breath," and brings it forth from the four winds. "… say to the wind … Come from the four winds, O breath." The term “four winds” might well represent the purpose of God. Four signifying universality, the four corners of the earth (Revelation 7:1), thus the wholeness of the earth will be the recipient of God’s breath or wind of eternal life. This is not to say that all of the people of the earth will be saved, but only that all nations of the earth will hear God’s Words of life, the wind and breath of God.

In Matthew 24:14 we read:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

THEY STOOD UPON THEIR FEET, AND LIVED

Ezekiel says in verse ten that he prophesied as God commanded him and breath came into these bones, and they lived. They stood upon their feet, and were an exceedingly great army. When we read in Ezekiel 37:10 that they “lived,” it must pertain to eternal life; they were spiritually alive. The word "lived" in the Hebrew denotes physical life in many cases. It can also mean spiritual life. “Lived" is also translated as: to nourish up; to preserve, to quicken; to recover; to repair; to restore to life; to revive; to be whole among other things. We clearly see that it is speaking of eternal life.

When the wind of heaven breathed upon these bones, they lived. "Lived" is translated "revive" in Isaiah 57:15 - listen to what God says:

"For thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to REVIVE [meaning to live] – to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."

God breathed the breath of life on these bones, and they revived spiritually, they lived eternally! This same word "lived" is again seen in Ezekiel 18:27 as "save."

"Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall SAVE [meaning to live) – he shall save his own soul."

God breathed the FOUR WINDS of His Holy Spirit into these dried bones, and they became "SAVED"- they lived eternally!

Once more this word "lived" is translated as "quicken" in Psalm 122:88:

"Quicken [to make alive] me after thy loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth."

How can we keep the testimony of God's Word? Apart from Christ it is totally impossible. God breathed upon these bones from the four winds of heaven and they were "quickened" ... they lived eternally, and kept His testimony.

Finally this word “lived” as seen in Ezekiel 37:10 “… and breath came into them, and they lived …” is also translated as preserve. Jeremiah 49:11 reads:

"Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve [meaning live] ... I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me"

God will breath into these dried bones and they will be PRESERVED for all of eternity. They will live forever. This is God's promise to the human race.

Ezekiel 37:10 tells us that after these bones became alive, they "STOOD UP UPON THEIR FEET." The Hebrew word for stood is also translated as raised. These bones "STOOD up" because Christ has "RAISED" us up. Ephesians 2:6 tells us that God has:

"...raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."

From being spiritually dead as dry bones, Christ has resurrected us, and has stood us upright in heavenly places in His everlasting Kingdom.

GOD’S PEOPLE: THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL

“… Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel…” (Ezekiel 37:11)

We are told in Ezekiel 37:11 that these bones are the whole house of Israel. The word “whole” means exactly that: entirety, whole, all or complete. These bones are not the entire Jewish population whose has ever lived upon the face of the earth. Many churches today teach that heresy. These bones are the whole house of Israel. In other words they are the completed "Israel of God." The New Testament assures us that Christians are the fulfillment of God’s spiritual Israel.

"Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." (Gal. 3:7)

Those who walk by faith in Christ are the real children or spiritual seed of Abraham. Therefore they are the true Israel of God.

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.”

“And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” (Galatians 5:15-16)

As many as walk confessing this rule: that in Christ Jesus we are new spiritual creatures, and being either circumcised or uncircumcised in the flesh means nothing to God. All who walk by faith in Christ are spiritual stones in God’s true Temple – THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISREAL.

“For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” (Philippians 3:3)

“In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:” (Colossians 2:11)

These bones of Ezekiel typify God’s whole and completed Church – not the physical buildings but the spiritually SAVED.

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” (Colossians 2:10)

Ezekiel is first commanded to prophesy to these bones. Then he is told to prophesy to the wind. Finally, in verse twelve he is commanded to prophesy to “my people.” God now addresses these bones as “MY PEOPLE.” God promises us in this verse that He will open our graves and cause us to come “up” out of our graves. Some may ask the question, “how can this be? I’m still alive, I have never been in a grave as of yet?” We must realize that from the time of our conception, we were in a spiritual grave awaiting eternal damnation. This of course is the result of man’s rebellion to God.

God has made provisions to open our spiritual graves and cause us to come up out of our graves. Christ commanded Lazarus to "COME FORTH," and he came up out of his physical grave, which was a picture of all who would ever be saved coming up out of their spiritual graves. There is only one thing that God wants in return for bringing His elect out of their spiritual graves, and that is found in John 4:23:

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when

the true worshippers shall worship the

Father in spirit and in truth: for the

Father seeketh such to worship Him."

Finally Revelation 4:11 tells us why we are to worship Christ:

Rev. 4:11

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Revelation 4:11)

Discipline

Proverbs 29:15-17 (KJV):
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

Proverbs 29:15-17 (AMP):
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left undisciplined brings his mother to shame.
16 When the wicked are in authority, transgression increases, but the (uncompromisingly) righteous shall see the fall of the wicked.
17 Correct your son, and he will give you rest; yes, he will give delight to your heart.

Thoughts for the Day

These verses from Proverbs give instruction for raising and disciplining children, and also state the destiny of the wicked because of their sin.

In verses 15 and 17 we see several things that are necessary if our children are to bring delight to us. The first thing is that we must reprove or discipline them by using the rod (spanking them) when they are young. Children who are not properly disciplined are among the most miserable of children. Unruly and spoiled children are not the blessings that the Bible says they should be to parents. Correction and training will direct the child so that they will grow up with a respect for authority, and this comes by punishing them when they rebel.

This brings us to the subject of how we should discipline a child who disobeys the rules. There has been much debate on the subject of corporal punishment (the spanking of a child). Corporal punishment simply means bodily punishment, while the definition of spank in Webster's Dictionary is: 1.) to strike with something flat, as the open hand, especially on the buttocks, as in punishment. 2.) to move along swiftly or smartly, a smack given in spanking. This is what the Bible says about spanking:

Proverbs 22:15: "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him."

Proverbs 23:13-14: "Withold not discipline from the child, for if you strike and punish him with the (reed-like) rod, he will not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell."

First of all, discipline of children should begin at an early age, whenever a child begins to defy the parent. Remember the old saying, "He who spares the rod, spoils the child." Notice that the Bible says that all children have foolishness in their hearts. We are to drive out this foolishness by punishing them with a whack on the buttocks with a small reed-like rod when they disobey. This rod could be a switch from a fruit tree branch or a willow tree branch or a small wooden spoon. It is not to be a large heavy rod or anything that would cause permanent physical damage. We are not talking about child abuse here. The purpose of a spanking is not to cause any lasting bodily harm, but to cause spiritual correction. A spanking should be swift and cause short lived pain that makes a point. That point is that the small pain they feel now will prevent them from feeling great pain by the act they are committing, which could cause them the loss of their lives in some cases. (For instance, if a child tries to eat something that is poison.)

Proverbs 19:18(AMP): Discipline your son while there is hope, but do not (indulge your angry resentments by undue chastisements and) set yourself to his ruin.

Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Godly discipline will keep children from being dysfunctional later in life. We are told as Christian parents to train our children in the ways of the Lord and when they grow up, they will not depart from that training. Notice it says "train," not "teach." Many parents teach their children right from wrong, but have failed to "train" them to obey. Spanking is part of the training. Many parents yell and threaten their children, but never follow through with the proper punishment, and therefore, their children get their own way. A disciplined child will bring great delight to parents, while the child left alone will bring shame to the home. Many a mother has wept when her children became wicked and thus shamed her. The Bible way to prevent this is by disciplining a child while he is young by spanking him. The Bible does not say to "reason" with a child. When a child is older, you can certainly add reasoning with the spanking. However, the most convincing thing we can do is to spank them. We have heard the expression, "the way to reason with them is through their bottoms."

Verse 16 talks about when wicked men are in places of authority, transgression multiplies because of it. However, we must remember that in time, we shall see the fall of the wicked. The Bible tells us in many places that the Lord is going to remove the wicked from this earth and that His righteous kingdom will reign in the earth.

Proverbs 2:21-22:
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for the blessing of children. Lord, help all Christian parents to heed the Bible's instructions for rearing their children. Father, there are many different voices in the world telling us how to do things; however, we want to know what the Bible says about child rearing. Lord, since You created us, then surely Your advice would be the best advice to follow, as You know how to do all things in perfection. Give us divine wisdom in the area of child rearing and give us grace to spank our children when they need that discipline. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Morning & Evening Devotionals

Ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. It pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. Of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Thou anointest my head with oil. The anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.

If the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. The blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
When Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people. Moreover he sprinkled ... with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Solomon Prayer

5In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.

6And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

7And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

8And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.

9Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

10And the speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.

11And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

12Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

13And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

14And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.

1 Kings 3:5-14

Insights Of Information:

Solomon's dream was not a common one. While his bodily powers were locked up in sleep, the powers of his soul were strengthened; he was enabled to receive the Divine vision, and to make a suitable choice. God, in like manner, puts us in the ready way to be happy, by assuring us we shall have what we need, and pray for. Solomon's making such a choice when asleep, and the powers of reason least active, showed it came from the grace of God. Having a humble sense of his own wants and

weakness, he pleads, Lord, I am but a little child. The more wise and considerate men are, the better acquainted they are with their own weakness, and the more jealous of themselves. Solomon begs of God to give him wisdom. We must pray for it, Jas 1:5, that it may help us in our particular calling, and the various occasions we have. Those are accepted of God, who prefer spiritual blessings to earthly good. It was a prevailing prayer, and prevailed for more

than he asked. God gave him wisdom, such as no other prince was ever blessed with; and also gave him riches and honour. If we make sure of wisdom and grace, these will bring outward prosperity with them, or sweeten the want of it. The way to get spiritual blessings, is to wrestle with God in prayer for them. The way to get earthly blessings, is to refer ourselves to God concerning them. Solomon has wisdom given him, because he did ask it, and wealth, because he did not.

(1Ki 3:16-28)

2 Chronicles 1:7-12 (King James Version)
7In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

8And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

9Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

10Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

11And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

12Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Davidic Covenant : Promise ; Deut.17:-20 King James Version 14When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

15Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

16But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

17Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

18And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

19And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

20That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

Your Promise : God Set It Up

God himself was in a particular manner Israel's King; and if they set another over them, it was necessary that he should choose the person. Accordingly, when the people desired a king, they applied to Samuel, a prophet of the Lord. In all cases, God's choice, if we can but know it, should direct, determine, and overrule ours. Laws are given for the prince that should be elected. He must carefully avoid every thing that would turn him from God and religion. Riches, honours, and

pleasures, are three great hinderances of godliness, (the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eye, and the pride of life,) especially to those in high stations; against these the king is here warned. The king must carefully study the law of God, and make that his rule; and having a copy of the Scriptures of his own writing, must read therein all the days of his life. It is not enough to have Bibles, but we must use them, use them daily, as long as we live. Christ's scholars never learn above

their Bibles, but will have constant occasion for them, till they come to that world where knowledge and love will be made perfect. The king's writing and reading were as nothing, if he did not practise what he wrote and read. And those who fear God and keep his commandments, will fare the better for it even in this world.

Emotionall Distraught

Emotional Distraught : This means that we are in an emotional wreck in ones own life, which is extremely troubled, mentally confused, absent - minded, distracted, harressed, driven mad. crazed. That of course came out of the webster dictionary. Scripture Verses: 16Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD.Leviticu 19:16 9An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. Proverbs 11:9
20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. Psalm 50:20 13A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.Proverbs 11:13 19He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.Proverbs 20:19 9In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.Ezekiel 22:9.10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10

Insights of Instruction: To take a stand that would wrongfully jepardize the life of a neighbor. Whereas the first charge dealt with a veritcal relationship of our Ten Commandments, that focuses on evidence of horizontal violations of God's own covenant, rebellion against God's Covenant of men to follow man's offenses of the second half of those Ten Commandents,This depicts who is a peddler in scandal whom speaks deliberately intended harm rather than merely unguarded speech, we are sure face opposition in our life from people whom don't understand what the whole truths are in people lives and other's gets hurt by breaking promises unto others when it ought to been left alone by certain people whom later causes hurts to keep going on when they ought not to have shared, certain things of which was between parties that is still hurting someones life up without remorse of anykind, nor do those types of people is literally insane with No moral values that sometime had confided in about a situation without truly remembering someone saying to them in confidence at thier utmost being thier abilities to do it at all costs.
Those types of people are not abiding by what had been spoken to the person at that moment in time. People has absolutely lost trust in those types of individuals and keep on bruising others. They feel threatened and often times enough it never stops and then they end-up loosing out with all morals, respect, honor, for what had been done at that moment and times. And stop threatening people in causing people harm. I for one just don't con-done anyone doing such practice in those types of people doing it to people at all or much in my own family and treating people the way that a person does at all! Those types of people surely is a need of prayers in those countless of lives in ones own home or knowing them as individuals. Nor do I want them near me or my family at all ! They have lost my respect in what they had done. By the only rescuer, and helper, whom will call our enemies to fall into there own pits one day as God judges them himself. They need a tons of repentence, forgivness, love, mercy. We want to fall into worship, thanks be unto God. We, too need to pray for ones forgiveness not only for one self but the perpetrator has beguiled to himself and others that ought not have been done at all. But be fully aware in knowing the whole situation at hand in whom they have hurt by them, by discerning the situation and not being around them till they improve themselves by having an listening ear to know it's truths, often times it comes out by other people sharing about the individual parties whom often times enough ought have had a closed mouth. What they had done just isn't right by biblical standards they call it plaine out gossip, slander which ruins people and they don't take any kind of notice at all or try to correct those kinds of situations at all but keep on doing it over and over again. Sadly enough it becomes unbearable to human beings.

Bottomline: This is what we try to do on a daily basis in disciplined in our own faith in our lives today. But as human being we fail alot of the times! Like soldiers we need to put aside those obstacles to our own spiritual growth - our dependency, our pursuit of pleasures, our denial. Like athletes we need to follow rules of healthy living - God's will for our life. Like the farmers we need to work hard - perserving through rough times. If we follow these examples, God will work in our life and help us to win in those hard battles. He will reward us with understanding and a very rich harvest of blessings.

I rejoice in Your victory, my Lord, over all the principalities and powers in the heavenlies. In faith I stand in Your victory and commit myself to live obediently for You my King.
I desire that my fellowship with You become greater. Reveal to me those things that grieve You and enables the enemy to secure an advantage in my life. I need the Holy Spirit's powerful ministry in my life; bringing conviction of sin, repentance of heart, strengthening my faith and increasing perseverance in resisting temptation.
Help me to die to self and walk in the victory of the new creation You have provided for me. Let the fruits of the Spirit flow out of my life so that You will be glorified through my life.
I know that it is Your will that I should stand firm and resist all of the enemy's work against me. Help me to discern the attacks upon my thoughts and emotions. Enable me to stand upon Your Word and resist all the accusations, distortions and condemnations that are hurled against me.
It is my desire to be transformed through the renewing of my mind, so that I will not compromise with the ways of the world, or yield to the enemy's attacks, but be obedient to Your will.
I draw upon those spiritual resources that You have provided me and I attack the strongholds and plans of the enemy that have been put in place against me. I command in the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy must release my mind, will, emotions and body completely. They have been yielded to the Lord and I belong to Him.
Lord, enable me to become the person You created me to be. Help me as I pray to be strong in faith. Show me how to apply Your Word in my life each day. I know that I wear the full armor of God when I am committed to and stand firmly upon Your Word. I want You to have the supreme place in my life.
I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. You are always faithful and You extend Your grace to me constantly, even when I do not realize it. I claim Your promise of forgiveness and cleansing in its fullness. In faith, I receive the victory today that you have already put in place for me. I do this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior with a grateful heart. In the name and power of the Blood of Jesus, Father, I believe Jesus Christ Himself took my diseases and my sicknesses on the cross. I believe that with His stripes that He took in His body, I am healed. I am the healed. I receive Jesus as my personal Healer, just as I have receive Him as my Lord and Savior. The power to resist sickness lives inside of me. I thank you for the gift of the body of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. I am a blessed child of God. I fear the Lord and delight greatly in His commandments. My seed will be mighty in the earth and my generations will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in my house and my righteousness will endure forever. Because I walk uprightly before the Lord, light will arise in the darkness. My confusion will be overcome and I will have guidance from the Holy Spirit. There is no problems which can come against me that I will not have wisdom and the leading of the Lord to overcome. I will also guide my personal, family and business affairs with discretion. I have wisdom beyond my natural ability. Because I am gracious, compassionate, righteous and give to others, favor follows after me. Everywhere I go, blessings find me. Surely I will not be moved forever. I cannot be shaken by circumstances or fear from the enemy, because I keep the Lord forever in my remembrance. I will not be afraid of evil tidings. My heart is fixed. I trust in the Lord. My heart is established, I will never be afraid. Satan desires to see me defeated. I desire to see him defeated and destroyed. His desire will not come to pass over me. My desire will come to pass over him. With God’s power, I will outlast Satan every time. I have dispersed and given to the poor. My acts of righteousness are eternal. My horn is lifted up in anticipation of a great outpouring of God’s blessing into my life. The wicked will see it and be grieved. Though they gnash their teeth at me, they will melt away and their desires shall perish. My desires will be granted by the Lord and my treasuries will be filled. Thank You as I lift your name on high and you are so worthy Jesus in all you do before us , glory, glory hallelujah ! Blessed Be the Name of the Lord whom reigns forever more. catcmo2006

God's Wisdom

God's Wisdom Proverbs 29:10-11 (KJV):
10 The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

Proverbs 29:10-11 (AMP):
10 The bloodthirsty hate the blameless man, but the upright care for and seek (to save) his life.
11 A (self-confident) fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it.

Thoughts for the Day

These verses from Proverbs tell us that murderers hate righteous people, while the righteous seek ways to see that evil men's souls are saved. Also, a foolish man will speak all that is on his mind, including his angry thoughts, while a wise man will use restraint and hold back his anger until he knows how to deal with a situation wisely.

It has been true throughout the ages that evil men seek to kill righteous men. The reason is because the deeds of a righteous man are an example of goodness, and by comparison will expose what kind of deeds the wicked man is doing. An evil man will not want his deeds shown for what they are, so they will attempt to silence good men. The first account of this is found in the Bible when Cain slew Abel, his own brother. Abel was obedient to God's plan for offering sacrifices, while Cain decided to offer his sacrifice differently, violating God's instructions. When God accepted Abel's offering and favored him for his obedience, and God had no respect for Cain's offering, it made Cain very angry. This uncontrolled anger led Cain to murder his own brother.

1 John 3:11-16:
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

At the root of all murder is hatred and anger. This is the reason that we must learn to control our feelings of anger because it can lead to hatred and murder. As Christians, we are bound to a higher law than just our outward actions. God looks on our hearts, and therefore, if we hate a brother or sister in Christ, it is the same as murder to God. We must ask God to deliver us of all hatred so that we are not guilty of murder in God's eyes.

Proverbs 29:11 states that a self-confident fool will utter all of his indiscriminate and angry thoughts, instead of restraining them, while a wise man will control himself and wait until he can deal with his thoughts and anger in a proper manner. How should we deal with anger? There are two kinds of anger, righteous anger and selfish, prideful anger. The Bible tells us that God, Himself, is angry about certain things. God is angry at the sins of the wicked because of how those sins hurt people. He loves the sinner but hates the wicked deeds they do.

Psalm 7:11: God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Most people also become angry when they see injustice and evil men hurting innocent people. This is righteous anger. This kind of anger should spur us to do something good that will help those who are victims of evil. However, the anger that leads to murder is a prideful anger, as this kind of anger comes when someone feels they did not get what they wanted. It is a selfish anger. The way we must deal with unrighteous anger is to ask God to remove it from our hearts and give us His perspective of the situation that caused us to feel angry. We are not to vent our anger on others. Some psychologists tell people to go outside and throw things when they feel anger, as it will make them feel better. This is not how the Bible tells us to deal with it. We are to give our feelings to God and ask Him to give us His feelings in the matter, and deliver us from all that is not of Him.

We are not only supposed to restrain our anger, but the latter half of verse 10 in today's study tells us that we are to also seek how we can win the soul of the one who caused us anger. As Christians, we are to overcome evil with good. We are not to respond with hate and anger toward those who seek our destruction, but we are to pray for them and try to find ways to win them to the Lord or change them for the better.

Romans 12:17-21:
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are a just God and You will deal with the wicked in the world. Lord, I choose to forgive all of those who have done any evil toward me. Father, deliver them from being used of the devil. Save those who do not know You. Deliver those who are deceived and have embraced anger and hatred in their own souls. Lord, show me ways to overcome evil in the world. Help me to reach out and be an instrument of change when I see injustice and wrongs being committed against others. Give me wisdom and love to overcome evil with good. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

We glory in tribulations.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.

Heaven & Hell

Heaven & Hell
Hello everyone I would like to express my own personal expressions and thoughts, ideas of what those two words means to me to you today. In which it pertains to what has happening in our globe in today's world as well as our nation, in rememberance of some of the things of which I grew-up with going to church and had some of it teaching's as a young child to some extent in hearing some of those fire and brimstone preachers. Back then I must admit that it was very hard to listen to and hard to take back then but today it really makes since to me in those perceptions of what points they were trying to convey unto the believers to have them see what was going to happen in our future and make sure in us at that time and most of all to remember in ones own mind and heart in to what would happening in future generations as I live in today and to discern the times and to stay close to God at all cost that's in our future. I don't think I've been as out spoken to what I'm about to convey to you before! But I had some lengthy time now to try to represent to you all that's been in my own heart and mind as best as I can do before you this day like never before but I have asked the Lord to guide my steps in attempting to say all the things. I must say some things unto your ears in whom will listen. I'm not in this per'say for No kind of arugments, or to stir-up any kind of controversy, or even any kind of a debates, discussions, quarrel, dispute of of any kind at all ! I'm writing this from my heart to yours is all. I 'm consummate this to some kind of a personal fulfillment in myself and doing my utmost to bring it through to God's completeness by His spoken words of truths I've personally haven't done anything like this before in my life and attempting to bring it out before you as it has taken me years to say all of these things to you as a servant of the Lord, I'm not a preacher by No means ! I just love Him with everything that's within my own soul! Be prayerfully as you read all within these pages as a person is setting my heart upon truths in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in whom is Righteous, Holy, Forgives, Blameless, Judges, watches utmost to His words in all of obedience for me to follow in every aspect of my life. Yes, I've been in very deep heavy sins, to the depths of my being, rebellious, not listened, stubborn, wicked, and just at one time didn't care about any thing or anyone in my personal life being in the world. I've hurt people ( past, present) of which I've had to face of which were to many times to count in my life. And I had to re- value what is the most important to me in my own life today. Then to firmly stick to it at all cost ! So here I am sharing this with each of you today. As the things in this world looks very grip for the most part of it by standards of what it' all about in todays times at this very hour from what had been spoken of in those past generations right down to those early first beginning of which our scriptures shares with everyone in the earth whom picks it up and studies it to it's fullest and walks it in ones own life only to bring other's to that saving grace that last forever in all eternity. In today's world there is so much defamng the Gospel in today's world, and it's has brought out before everyone whom sees with one's own spirit those truths. The world just don't see it by the veil that has covered thier eyes and down to the core of ones being. It truly does makes me cry unto Jesus Christ in what he's already spoken about in His living and breathing word. Some of the world is infatuated and blinded by what it bring out upon them and by all of those whom had engaged in semi-secret, anti-Christian organizations.Which works with globalist power brokers provide a glimpse of the ruling network of masterminds behind the curtains of contemporary governments n general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown. Communitarian system is based on partnerships and networks between government (public sector), business (private sector) and churches -- the most useful member of civil society (social sector). But it's never a partnership of equals, since governments wield both financial and standard-setting power. In the global arena, it intends to use the social sector (especially the global network of churches) to meet the needs of its promised welfare system. Most of these mighty elites have chosen to live in the shadow of the mainstream media they control knows how to cloak worldly ambitions in words that resemble Biblical humility. Though many of them hides his emphasis on social collectivism behind Biblical words that promise oneness in Christ. And he promotes the Communitarian agenda.while acknowledging the Kingdom of God. But balancing such opposites leads to problems. Those who try to please influencers in every camp are likely to prove unreliable and dishonest. And in this case, was obviously trapped by his own purpose-driven propaganda. In Syria he spoke words that would please the Muslim, anti-American leadership. In America, he tried to hide the facts in order to please his Americans and abroad as a whole. Those deceptions began years ago, when he first adapted certain metaphors that now became for the most part of our society famous five purposes to a postmodern culture. But the practical expressions of those Biblical terms have been twisted to accommodate the human preferences indicated by surveys and marketing schemes. Worship: Postmodern worship is designed to stir good feelings and collective zeal. It may echo Biblical words, but points to a positive and permissive God who will cheer our self-centered nature and excuse our unholy ways. It clashes with genuine expressions of Spirit-filled hearts that freely praise God without emotion-raising stimuli. Fellowship: Organized purpose-driven "fellowship" follows dialectical guidelines. Small group members are trained in unbiblical tolerance, feeling-based (not fact-based) "sharing," and hostility toward "offensive" Biblical absolutes. In contrast, Biblical fellowship implies a gathering of genuine believers with a common delight in His Word, His will, and His holy ways. Some of those mega churches falls in simliar category as what I have described if they fall under those principles. God has told us in His word that we should be watchful of such things as what is in this world simply they comes as wolves in sheeps clothing{ Matt.7:15-20}. Plus in Job is describes simliar things as well { Job 18:1-21}Colossians 2:4-23} we are to be free of such legalistic ordinances of what those things had presented of apostasy as the lies of what it stands for unto the world today. That also goes with other forms of Non Faith based christian movement not only in this nation but in other parts of the world. One of America’s most prominent pastors has said that although we now have a higher percentage of church members than ever before, with 91 million adults claiming to be “born-again” Christians, never before has the church been less influential in American life. Obviously, the level of commitment by these people is very low.

Paul in Romans 12:1 summons us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God; he calls this our “reasonable service.” The term “body” in this verse stands, by synecdoche, “for the complete man” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, 1940). It means that we can hold nothing back.

I think of this verse often as pastors tell me of parishioners who are rebellious against God’s truth, and whose basic premise is too often, “My will be done.” The Lord requires a total commitment, even to death, and calls it our “reasonable service.” In other words, God’s chief end is not to glorify man and to enjoy him forever! Rather, as the old catechism stated it, “The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” We can only enjoy God if He comes first in our lives and if we realize that whatever He requires of us is our “reasonable service.” We can only serve and enjoy God on His terms, not on ours.

When the Lord again has priority over and in us, and His law-word truly governs us, then we will have a very different church and country.

Hell in the word descibes it as this : Abode of the dead, especially as a place of eternal punishment for unbelievers. " Hebrew word: Sheol. hades, gehenna and tartaroo. Hades is the greek word: god of the underworld and the under world itself. it indicates to as fates of the righteous and the wicked. As I look in {Matt.8:12;22:13:25:30} describes it best as a Warning to every human being alive today ! . It leads us that one own sins is the most horrible punsihment that humans can describe that's in the Word of God. It also leads me to say that one's own nature to one's own punishment will fit the nature of one's own sins. Gehenna is which is the place of one's final judgement: { Matt.5L22,29: 18:9: Mark [9:43,45,47,48} Only God [Himself] can commit people to "Gehenna and is the only one worthy of human fear {Matt.10:28; Luke 12:5].Sheol: Abode of all the dead [job.30:26], or wicked dead [ Ps.9:17] for thought to be deep within the earth [Ps. 88:6; Ezek. 26:20; 31:14,15 ; Amos 9:2]; entering by crossing the river [Job33:18]; pictured as a city with gates [ Isa.38:10]; place of ruins [ Ezek.26:20, or trap [ 2 Sam.6; Ps.18:5]. Shoel is sometimes personfied as a hungry beast [Prov.27:20; Isa. 5:14; Hab.2:5] with an open mouth and an insatiable appetite. Shoel is described as a place of dust [Ps.30:9; Job.17:16] and of gloom and darkness [ Job.10:21]. The dead experience No rememberance [ Ps,6:5;88:12], No thought [Eccl. 9:10], No speech [ Ps.31:17;94:17], especially No words of praise [Ps.6:5;30:9], Place of pain and distress [Ps. 116:3], weakness [Isa.14:10], Helplessness [Isa.38:10] Destructiion [ Isa.38:17].Shoel continues [Isa.14:9,Ezek.32:18-30].

Heaven is describes as this : Heavenly City fulfillment of hope or God's people or final Salvation representing ordered life; security from enemies and material prosperity,[Heb.11:10,16;12:22]. The promise of a re- creation of the heavens and earth rose because of human sin and God's subsequent curse [ Gen.3:17]. Persons cannot be completely set free from the power of apart from God and the redemption of order - earh as well as the heavens [ Isa.51:16; Matt. 19:28;24:29-31;26:29; Mark 13:24-27,31; Acts 3:20,21; Rom.8:19-23; 2 Cor.5:17,31; Heb.12:26-28;2Peter 10-13]. God is the cause of this new creation [ Isa.65:17;66:22;Rev.21:22; Compare Isa.66:28; Heb.12:28; 2 Peter 3:13]. Purity Rev.21:7], and freedom from the wrath of God [ Rev.22:3], and perfect fellowship of the saints with one another and with God [Rev.21:3], are the marks of the New Heaven and Earth.

I thank Our God for His perceptions of things that are now in this world today and to be keeping in Him and following Him and being in obedience unto Him each and every day knowing that He's said to us that we all sin in our lives. And His scriptures given by the Holy Spirit in showing us all the ways to turn our lives around and in the Word is whom He says that He is among us.

For Alexis

Father right now we come boldly before your throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We agree with Your word says in Matt. 18:19, so we are fully persuaded that you will totally fulfill your word in Alexis’s life.

Jesus paid for Alexis's healing, where it says in 1 Peter 2:24b "by whose stripes you were healed." Father, Jesus already has paid the full price for Alexis's healing. So we right now thank you for Alexis’s total healing; as it says in your word in Phil. 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"

So we thank you Jesus for there is none like you in all the earth! We give You, Jesus ALL of the praise and glory for a complete healing as it says in Isaiah 55:11. "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." And we send Your word, now into Alexis’s need, accessed by the power of the blood of Jesus and faith in the finished price by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Angel Appeared Unto Joseph

20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37For with God nothing shall be impossible.

38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Matthew 1:20; Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:28-38; Luke 2:7-15 (King James Version)

The Bottomline:

An angel appears to Joseph.

Let us look to the circumstances under which the Son of God entered into this lower world, till we learn to despise the vain honours of this world, when compared with piety and holiness. The mystery of Christ's becoming man is to be adored, not curiously inquired into. It was so ordered that Christ should partake of our nature, yet that he should be pure from the defilement of original sin, which has been communicated to all the race of Adam. Observe, it is the thoughtful, not the

unthinking, whom God will guide. God's time to come with instruction to his people, is when they are at a loss. Divine comforts most delight the soul when under the pressure of perplexed thoughts. Joseph is told that Mary should bring forth the Saviour of the world. He was to call his name Jesus, a Saviour. Jesus is the same name with Joshua. And the reason of that name is clear, for those whom Christ saves, he saves from their sins; from the guilt of sin by the merit of his death, and from the

power of sin by the Spirit of his grace. In saving them from sin, he saves them from wrath and the curse, and all misery, here and hereafter. Christ came to save his people, not in their sins, but from their sins; and so to redeem them from among men, to himself, who is separate from sinners. Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, speedily, without delay, and cheerfully, without dispute. By applying the general rules of the written word, we should in all the steps of our lives,

particularly the great turns of them, take direction from God, and we shall find this safe and comfortable.

Christ's birth announced.

We have here an account of the mother of our Lord; though we are not to pray to her, yet we ought to praise God for her. Christ must be born miraculously. The angel's address means only, Hail, thou that art the especially chosen and favoured of the Most High, to attain the honour Jewish mothers have so long desired. This wondrous salutation and appearance troubled Mary. The angel then assured her that she had found favour with God, and would become the mother of a son whose name she

should call Jesus, the Son of the Highest, one in a nature and perfection with the Lord God. JESUS! the name that refreshes the fainting spirits of humbled sinners; sweet to speak and sweet to hear, Jesus, a Saviour! We know not his riches and our own poverty, therefore we run not to him; we perceive not that we are lost and perishing, therefore a Saviour is a word of little relish. Were we convinced of the huge mass of guilt that lies upon us, and the wrath that hangs over us for it, ready to

fall upon us, it would be our continual thought, Is the Saviour mine? And that we might find him so, we should trample on all that hinders our way to him. Mary's reply to the angel was the language of faith and humble admiration, and she asked no sign for the confirming her faith. Without controversy, great was the mystery of godliness, God manifest in the flesh, 1Ti 3:16. Christ's human nature must be produced so, as it was fit that should be which was

to be taken into union with the Divine nature. And we must, as Mary here, guide our desires by the word of God. In all conflicts, let us remember that with God nothing is impossible; and as we read and hear his promises, let us turn them into prayers, Behold the willing servant of the Lord; let it be unto me according to thy word. (Lu 1:39-56)

Return to The LORD!

Return to The LORD!
This is what the LORD Almighty says: Return to me! Seek the LORD, O people! Seek righteousness, seek humility; humble yourselves before me, do what I command. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. [Ps 34:18]
Let the LORD's peace rule over your hearts and testify in your hearts.Do not give the devil a foothold, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of GOD, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.( Eph 4:27-30)
The LORD gives this charge to those who minister to His Church : " Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place." [ Rev 2:5]
" If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here." [ Zec 3:7]
The savage wolves already come in among GOD's peoples and do not spare the flock. Even from the family of GOD, some arise and reject the truth and follow evil. They do not realize that GOD's kindness, tolerance and patience lead people toward repentance. They are storing up wrath against themselves for the day of GOD's wrath, when His righteous judgment will come.
Woe to those who cause to sin and divide and put obstacles in the way of GOD's peoples. Woe to those who are not serving our LORD CHRIST, but their own appetites. Woe to those who there is no fear of GOD before their eyes. Woe to those who are unfaithful and disobey GOD's commands.
The righteous GOD will give to each person according to what he has done. Repent and turn to GOD and prove your repentance by your deeds. Be clear minded and self-controlled and alert! Keep watch over yourselves and all flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the Church of GOD, which He bought with His own Blood. [Ac 20:28]
As you see the nations and the rulers gather together against the LORD, the severe trial is coming upon the whole world, you should know the time is near. The LORD is GOD, and holds the keys of death and Hades. Woe to those who do not accept the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST, the Savior of all mankind. " Therefore, you kings, be wise;be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling." [Ps 2:10,11]
Hear, O people, the LORD our GOD, the LORD is One. Now, He commands all peoples everywhere to repent, to return to Him! The blasphemous, the rebellious, the scoffers and all the evildoers will perish. The good news of the Kingdom of GOD is increasing and spreading, and you should make every effort to enter through the narrow door. Remember, the LORD had told us that many will try to enter and will not be able to.
The LORD had called and sent the Twelve to preach the Kingdom of GOD and to heal the sick. Then, they set out and went from village to village, preaching the Gospel and healing people everywhere. After this, the LORD appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go. He told them, " The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the LORD of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field." [Lk 10:2]
Now, the LORD commands all His saints to expand outreach into all the nations, preaching the Gospel and snatching the lost everywhere. He chose and appointed all His saints to go and bear fruit. Great are His purposes and mighty are His deeds. That all His saints would obey Him,take action!
May GOD's will be done for His Glory. In the Name of the LORD GOD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
