A Strong Upper Level Storm System Spinning Over Southern Arizona This Evening Will Track Across Oklahoma Tomorrow Afternoon... And Into Central Missouri Saturday Night And Early Sunday. Ahead Of The Upper Level System... Snow Will Spread From Southern And Central Kansas To The Kansas And Missouri Border Saturday Afternoon. The Heaviest Snowfall Rates Across Eastern Kansas And West Central Missouri Will Occur Late Saturday Evening And Through The Overnight Hours... And Will Create Reduced Visibilities And Treacherous Driving Conditions On Area Roadways.
The Snow Will Begin To Taper Off Later Sunday Morning... But Not Before Depositing 4 To 6 Inches Of Accumulation Across The Area. Persons Planning On Traveling Across Eastern Kansas And Western Missouri Saturday Night Through Sunday Afternoon Should Be Prepared For Snow Packed And Hazardous Road Conditions.
