Emotionall Distraught

Emotional Distraught : This means that we are in an emotional wreck in ones own life, which is extremely troubled, mentally confused, absent - minded, distracted, harressed, driven mad. crazed. That of course came out of the webster dictionary. Scripture Verses: 16Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD.Leviticu 19:16 9An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. Proverbs 11:9
20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. Psalm 50:20 13A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.Proverbs 11:13 19He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.Proverbs 20:19 9In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.Ezekiel 22:9.10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10

Insights of Instruction: To take a stand that would wrongfully jepardize the life of a neighbor. Whereas the first charge dealt with a veritcal relationship of our Ten Commandments, that focuses on evidence of horizontal violations of God's own covenant, rebellion against God's Covenant of men to follow man's offenses of the second half of those Ten Commandents,This depicts who is a peddler in scandal whom speaks deliberately intended harm rather than merely unguarded speech, we are sure face opposition in our life from people whom don't understand what the whole truths are in people lives and other's gets hurt by breaking promises unto others when it ought to been left alone by certain people whom later causes hurts to keep going on when they ought not to have shared, certain things of which was between parties that is still hurting someones life up without remorse of anykind, nor do those types of people is literally insane with No moral values that sometime had confided in about a situation without truly remembering someone saying to them in confidence at thier utmost being thier abilities to do it at all costs.
Those types of people are not abiding by what had been spoken to the person at that moment in time. People has absolutely lost trust in those types of individuals and keep on bruising others. They feel threatened and often times enough it never stops and then they end-up loosing out with all morals, respect, honor, for what had been done at that moment and times. And stop threatening people in causing people harm. I for one just don't con-done anyone doing such practice in those types of people doing it to people at all or much in my own family and treating people the way that a person does at all! Those types of people surely is a need of prayers in those countless of lives in ones own home or knowing them as individuals. Nor do I want them near me or my family at all ! They have lost my respect in what they had done. By the only rescuer, and helper, whom will call our enemies to fall into there own pits one day as God judges them himself. They need a tons of repentence, forgivness, love, mercy. We want to fall into worship, thanks be unto God. We, too need to pray for ones forgiveness not only for one self but the perpetrator has beguiled to himself and others that ought not have been done at all. But be fully aware in knowing the whole situation at hand in whom they have hurt by them, by discerning the situation and not being around them till they improve themselves by having an listening ear to know it's truths, often times it comes out by other people sharing about the individual parties whom often times enough ought have had a closed mouth. What they had done just isn't right by biblical standards they call it plaine out gossip, slander which ruins people and they don't take any kind of notice at all or try to correct those kinds of situations at all but keep on doing it over and over again. Sadly enough it becomes unbearable to human beings.

Bottomline: This is what we try to do on a daily basis in disciplined in our own faith in our lives today. But as human being we fail alot of the times! Like soldiers we need to put aside those obstacles to our own spiritual growth - our dependency, our pursuit of pleasures, our denial. Like athletes we need to follow rules of healthy living - God's will for our life. Like the farmers we need to work hard - perserving through rough times. If we follow these examples, God will work in our life and help us to win in those hard battles. He will reward us with understanding and a very rich harvest of blessings.

Prayer

Dear Father God, I acknowledge that You are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. I am thankful for the victorious work of Your Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary for me. I appropriate His victory for myself now as I willingly surrender every area of my life to Your will.
Thank you for the forgiveness and righteousness that has been given to me as Your adopted child. I trust in Your protection and provision daily. I know that your love for me never ceases.
I rejoice in Your victory, my Lord, over all the principalities and powers in the heavenlies. In faith I stand in Your victory and commit myself to live obediently for You my King.
I desire that my fellowship with You become greater. Reveal to me those things that grieve You and enables the enemy to secure an advantage in my life. I need the Holy Spirit's powerful ministry in my life; bringing conviction of sin, repentance of heart, strengthening my faith and increasing perseverance in resisting temptation.
Help me to die to self and walk in the victory of the new creation You have provided for me. Let the fruits of the Spirit flow out of my life so that You will be glorified through my life.
I know that it is Your will that I should stand firm and resist all of the enemy's work against me. Help me to discern the attacks upon my thoughts and emotions. Enable me to stand upon Your Word and resist all the accusations, distortions and condemnations that are hurled against me.
It is my desire to be transformed through the renewing of my mind, so that I will not compromise with the ways of the world, or yield to the enemy's attacks, but be obedient to Your will.
I draw upon those spiritual resources that You have provided me and I attack the strongholds and plans of the enemy that have been put in place against me. I command in the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy must release my mind, will, emotions and body completely. They have been yielded to the Lord and I belong to Him.
Lord, enable me to become the person You created me to be. Help me as I pray to be strong in faith. Show me how to apply Your Word in my life each day. I know that I wear the full armor of God when I am committed to and stand firmly upon Your Word. I want You to have the supreme place in my life.
I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. You are always faithful and You extend Your grace to me constantly, even when I do not realize it. I claim Your promise of forgiveness and cleansing in its fullness. In faith, I receive the victory today that you have already put in place for me. I do this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior with a grateful heart. In the name and power of the Blood of Jesus, Father, I believe Jesus Christ Himself took my diseases and my sicknesses on the cross. I believe that with His stripes that He took in His body, I am healed. I am the healed. I receive Jesus as my personal Healer, just as I have receive Him as my Lord and Savior. The power to resist sickness lives inside of me. I thank you for the gift of the body of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. I am a blessed child of God. I fear the Lord and delight greatly in His commandments. My seed will be mighty in the earth and my generations will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in my house and my righteousness will endure forever. Because I walk uprightly before the Lord, light will arise in the darkness. My confusion will be overcome and I will have guidance from the Holy Spirit. There is no problems which can come against me that I will not have wisdom and the leading of the Lord to overcome. I will also guide my personal, family and business affairs with discretion. I have wisdom beyond my natural ability. Because I am gracious, compassionate, righteous and give to others, favor follows after me. Everywhere I go, blessings find me. Surely I will not be moved forever. I cannot be shaken by circumstances or fear from the enemy, because I keep the Lord forever in my remembrance. I will not be afraid of evil tidings. My heart is fixed. I trust in the Lord. My heart is established, I will never be afraid. Satan desires to see me defeated. I desire to see him defeated and destroyed. His desire will not come to pass over me. My desire will come to pass over him. With God’s power, I will outlast Satan every time. I have dispersed and given to the poor. My acts of righteousness are eternal. My horn is lifted up in anticipation of a great outpouring of God’s blessing into my life. The wicked will see it and be grieved. Though they gnash their teeth at me, they will melt away and their desires shall perish. My desires will be granted by the Lord and my treasuries will be filled. Thank You as I lift your name on high and you are so worthy Jesus in all you do before us , glory, glory hallelujah ! Blessed Be the Name of the Lord whom reigns forever more. catcmo2006

God's Wisdom

God's Wisdom Proverbs 29:10-11 (KJV):
10 The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

Proverbs 29:10-11 (AMP):
10 The bloodthirsty hate the blameless man, but the upright care for and seek (to save) his life.
11 A (self-confident) fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it.

Thoughts for the Day

These verses from Proverbs tell us that murderers hate righteous people, while the righteous seek ways to see that evil men's souls are saved. Also, a foolish man will speak all that is on his mind, including his angry thoughts, while a wise man will use restraint and hold back his anger until he knows how to deal with a situation wisely.

It has been true throughout the ages that evil men seek to kill righteous men. The reason is because the deeds of a righteous man are an example of goodness, and by comparison will expose what kind of deeds the wicked man is doing. An evil man will not want his deeds shown for what they are, so they will attempt to silence good men. The first account of this is found in the Bible when Cain slew Abel, his own brother. Abel was obedient to God's plan for offering sacrifices, while Cain decided to offer his sacrifice differently, violating God's instructions. When God accepted Abel's offering and favored him for his obedience, and God had no respect for Cain's offering, it made Cain very angry. This uncontrolled anger led Cain to murder his own brother.

1 John 3:11-16:
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

At the root of all murder is hatred and anger. This is the reason that we must learn to control our feelings of anger because it can lead to hatred and murder. As Christians, we are bound to a higher law than just our outward actions. God looks on our hearts, and therefore, if we hate a brother or sister in Christ, it is the same as murder to God. We must ask God to deliver us of all hatred so that we are not guilty of murder in God's eyes.

Proverbs 29:11 states that a self-confident fool will utter all of his indiscriminate and angry thoughts, instead of restraining them, while a wise man will control himself and wait until he can deal with his thoughts and anger in a proper manner. How should we deal with anger? There are two kinds of anger, righteous anger and selfish, prideful anger. The Bible tells us that God, Himself, is angry about certain things. God is angry at the sins of the wicked because of how those sins hurt people. He loves the sinner but hates the wicked deeds they do.

Psalm 7:11: God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Most people also become angry when they see injustice and evil men hurting innocent people. This is righteous anger. This kind of anger should spur us to do something good that will help those who are victims of evil. However, the anger that leads to murder is a prideful anger, as this kind of anger comes when someone feels they did not get what they wanted. It is a selfish anger. The way we must deal with unrighteous anger is to ask God to remove it from our hearts and give us His perspective of the situation that caused us to feel angry. We are not to vent our anger on others. Some psychologists tell people to go outside and throw things when they feel anger, as it will make them feel better. This is not how the Bible tells us to deal with it. We are to give our feelings to God and ask Him to give us His feelings in the matter, and deliver us from all that is not of Him.

We are not only supposed to restrain our anger, but the latter half of verse 10 in today's study tells us that we are to also seek how we can win the soul of the one who caused us anger. As Christians, we are to overcome evil with good. We are not to respond with hate and anger toward those who seek our destruction, but we are to pray for them and try to find ways to win them to the Lord or change them for the better.

Romans 12:17-21:
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are a just God and You will deal with the wicked in the world. Lord, I choose to forgive all of those who have done any evil toward me. Father, deliver them from being used of the devil. Save those who do not know You. Deliver those who are deceived and have embraced anger and hatred in their own souls. Lord, show me ways to overcome evil in the world. Help me to reach out and be an instrument of change when I see injustice and wrongs being committed against others. Give me wisdom and love to overcome evil with good. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Evening Devotions

We glory in tribulations.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice. They departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Heaven & Hell

Heaven & Hell
Hello everyone I would like to express my own personal expressions and thoughts, ideas of what those two words means to me to you today. In which it pertains to what has happening in our globe in today's world as well as our nation, in rememberance of some of the things of which I grew-up with going to church and had some of it teaching's as a young child to some extent in hearing some of those fire and brimstone preachers. Back then I must admit that it was very hard to listen to and hard to take back then but today it really makes since to me in those perceptions of what points they were trying to convey unto the believers to have them see what was going to happen in our future and make sure in us at that time and most of all to remember in ones own mind and heart in to what would happening in future generations as I live in today and to discern the times and to stay close to God at all cost that's in our future. I don't think I've been as out spoken to what I'm about to convey to you before! But I had some lengthy time now to try to represent to you all that's been in my own heart and mind as best as I can do before you this day like never before but I have asked the Lord to guide my steps in attempting to say all the things. I must say some things unto your ears in whom will listen. I'm not in this per'say for No kind of arugments, or to stir-up any kind of controversy, or even any kind of a debates, discussions, quarrel, dispute of of any kind at all ! I'm writing this from my heart to yours is all. I 'm consummate this to some kind of a personal fulfillment in myself and doing my utmost to bring it through to God's completeness by His spoken words of truths I've personally haven't done anything like this before in my life and attempting to bring it out before you as it has taken me years to say all of these things to you as a servant of the Lord, I'm not a preacher by No means ! I just love Him with everything that's within my own soul! Be prayerfully as you read all within these pages as a person is setting my heart upon truths in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in whom is Righteous, Holy, Forgives, Blameless, Judges, watches utmost to His words in all of obedience for me to follow in every aspect of my life. Yes, I've been in very deep heavy sins, to the depths of my being, rebellious, not listened, stubborn, wicked, and just at one time didn't care about any thing or anyone in my personal life being in the world. I've hurt people ( past, present) of which I've had to face of which were to many times to count in my life. And I had to re- value what is the most important to me in my own life today. Then to firmly stick to it at all cost ! So here I am sharing this with each of you today. As the things in this world looks very grip for the most part of it by standards of what it' all about in todays times at this very hour from what had been spoken of in those past generations right down to those early first beginning of which our scriptures shares with everyone in the earth whom picks it up and studies it to it's fullest and walks it in ones own life only to bring other's to that saving grace that last forever in all eternity. In today's world there is so much defamng the Gospel in today's world, and it's has brought out before everyone whom sees with one's own spirit those truths. The world just don't see it by the veil that has covered thier eyes and down to the core of ones being. It truly does makes me cry unto Jesus Christ in what he's already spoken about in His living and breathing word. Some of the world is infatuated and blinded by what it bring out upon them and by all of those whom had engaged in semi-secret, anti-Christian organizations.Which works with globalist power brokers provide a glimpse of the ruling network of masterminds behind the curtains of contemporary governments n general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown. Communitarian system is based on partnerships and networks between government (public sector), business (private sector) and churches -- the most useful member of civil society (social sector). But it's never a partnership of equals, since governments wield both financial and standard-setting power. In the global arena, it intends to use the social sector (especially the global network of churches) to meet the needs of its promised welfare system. Most of these mighty elites have chosen to live in the shadow of the mainstream media they control knows how to cloak worldly ambitions in words that resemble Biblical humility. Though many of them hides his emphasis on social collectivism behind Biblical words that promise oneness in Christ. And he promotes the Communitarian agenda.while acknowledging the Kingdom of God. But balancing such opposites leads to problems. Those who try to please influencers in every camp are likely to prove unreliable and dishonest. And in this case, was obviously trapped by his own purpose-driven propaganda. In Syria he spoke words that would please the Muslim, anti-American leadership. In America, he tried to hide the facts in order to please his Americans and abroad as a whole. Those deceptions began years ago, when he first adapted certain metaphors that now became for the most part of our society famous five purposes to a postmodern culture. But the practical expressions of those Biblical terms have been twisted to accommodate the human preferences indicated by surveys and marketing schemes. Worship: Postmodern worship is designed to stir good feelings and collective zeal. It may echo Biblical words, but points to a positive and permissive God who will cheer our self-centered nature and excuse our unholy ways. It clashes with genuine expressions of Spirit-filled hearts that freely praise God without emotion-raising stimuli. Fellowship: Organized purpose-driven "fellowship" follows dialectical guidelines. Small group members are trained in unbiblical tolerance, feeling-based (not fact-based) "sharing," and hostility toward "offensive" Biblical absolutes. In contrast, Biblical fellowship implies a gathering of genuine believers with a common delight in His Word, His will, and His holy ways. Some of those mega churches falls in simliar category as what I have described if they fall under those principles. God has told us in His word that we should be watchful of such things as what is in this world simply they comes as wolves in sheeps clothing{ Matt.7:15-20}. Plus in Job is describes simliar things as well { Job 18:1-21}Colossians 2:4-23} we are to be free of such legalistic ordinances of what those things had presented of apostasy as the lies of what it stands for unto the world today. That also goes with other forms of Non Faith based christian movement not only in this nation but in other parts of the world. One of America’s most prominent pastors has said that although we now have a higher percentage of church members than ever before, with 91 million adults claiming to be “born-again” Christians, never before has the church been less influential in American life. Obviously, the level of commitment by these people is very low.

Paul in Romans 12:1 summons us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God; he calls this our “reasonable service.” The term “body” in this verse stands, by synecdoche, “for the complete man” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, 1940). It means that we can hold nothing back.

I think of this verse often as pastors tell me of parishioners who are rebellious against God’s truth, and whose basic premise is too often, “My will be done.” The Lord requires a total commitment, even to death, and calls it our “reasonable service.” In other words, God’s chief end is not to glorify man and to enjoy him forever! Rather, as the old catechism stated it, “The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” We can only enjoy God if He comes first in our lives and if we realize that whatever He requires of us is our “reasonable service.” We can only serve and enjoy God on His terms, not on ours.

When the Lord again has priority over and in us, and His law-word truly governs us, then we will have a very different church and country.

Hell in the word descibes it as this : Abode of the dead, especially as a place of eternal punishment for unbelievers. " Hebrew word: Sheol. hades, gehenna and tartaroo. Hades is the greek word: god of the underworld and the under world itself. it indicates to as fates of the righteous and the wicked. As I look in {Matt.8:12;22:13:25:30} describes it best as a Warning to every human being alive today ! . It leads us that one own sins is the most horrible punsihment that humans can describe that's in the Word of God. It also leads me to say that one's own nature to one's own punishment will fit the nature of one's own sins. Gehenna is which is the place of one's final judgement: { Matt.5L22,29: 18:9: Mark [9:43,45,47,48} Only God [Himself] can commit people to "Gehenna and is the only one worthy of human fear {Matt.10:28; Luke 12:5].Sheol: Abode of all the dead [job.30:26], or wicked dead [ Ps.9:17] for thought to be deep within the earth [Ps. 88:6; Ezek. 26:20; 31:14,15 ; Amos 9:2]; entering by crossing the river [Job33:18]; pictured as a city with gates [ Isa.38:10]; place of ruins [ Ezek.26:20, or trap [ 2 Sam.6; Ps.18:5]. Shoel is sometimes personfied as a hungry beast [Prov.27:20; Isa. 5:14; Hab.2:5] with an open mouth and an insatiable appetite. Shoel is described as a place of dust [Ps.30:9; Job.17:16] and of gloom and darkness [ Job.10:21]. The dead experience No rememberance [ Ps,6:5;88:12], No thought [Eccl. 9:10], No speech [ Ps.31:17;94:17], especially No words of praise [Ps.6:5;30:9], Place of pain and distress [Ps. 116:3], weakness [Isa.14:10], Helplessness [Isa.38:10] Destructiion [ Isa.38:17].Shoel continues [Isa.14:9,Ezek.32:18-30].

Heaven is describes as this : Heavenly City fulfillment of hope or God's people or final Salvation representing ordered life; security from enemies and material prosperity,[Heb.11:10,16;12:22]. The promise of a re- creation of the heavens and earth rose because of human sin and God's subsequent curse [ Gen.3:17]. Persons cannot be completely set free from the power of apart from God and the redemption of order - earh as well as the heavens [ Isa.51:16; Matt. 19:28;24:29-31;26:29; Mark 13:24-27,31; Acts 3:20,21; Rom.8:19-23; 2 Cor.5:17,31; Heb.12:26-28;2Peter 10-13]. God is the cause of this new creation [ Isa.65:17;66:22;Rev.21:22; Compare Isa.66:28; Heb.12:28; 2 Peter 3:13]. Purity Rev.21:7], and freedom from the wrath of God [ Rev.22:3], and perfect fellowship of the saints with one another and with God [Rev.21:3], are the marks of the New Heaven and Earth.

I thank Our God for His perceptions of things that are now in this world today and to be keeping in Him and following Him and being in obedience unto Him each and every day knowing that He's said to us that we all sin in our lives. And His scriptures given by the Holy Spirit in showing us all the ways to turn our lives around and in the Word is whom He says that He is among us.

For Alexis

Father right now we come boldly before your throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We agree with Your word says in Matt. 18:19, so we are fully persuaded that you will totally fulfill your word in Alexis’s life.

Jesus paid for Alexis's healing, where it says in 1 Peter 2:24b "by whose stripes you were healed." Father, Jesus already has paid the full price for Alexis's healing. So we right now thank you for Alexis’s total healing; as it says in your word in Phil. 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"

So we thank you Jesus for there is none like you in all the earth! We give You, Jesus ALL of the praise and glory for a complete healing as it says in Isaiah 55:11. "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." And we send Your word, now into Alexis’s need, accessed by the power of the blood of Jesus and faith in the finished price by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Angel Appeared Unto Joseph

20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37For with God nothing shall be impossible.

38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Matthew 1:20; Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:28-38; Luke 2:7-15 (King James Version)

The Bottomline:

An angel appears to Joseph.

Let us look to the circumstances under which the Son of God entered into this lower world, till we learn to despise the vain honours of this world, when compared with piety and holiness. The mystery of Christ's becoming man is to be adored, not curiously inquired into. It was so ordered that Christ should partake of our nature, yet that he should be pure from the defilement of original sin, which has been communicated to all the race of Adam. Observe, it is the thoughtful, not the

unthinking, whom God will guide. God's time to come with instruction to his people, is when they are at a loss. Divine comforts most delight the soul when under the pressure of perplexed thoughts. Joseph is told that Mary should bring forth the Saviour of the world. He was to call his name Jesus, a Saviour. Jesus is the same name with Joshua. And the reason of that name is clear, for those whom Christ saves, he saves from their sins; from the guilt of sin by the merit of his death, and from the

power of sin by the Spirit of his grace. In saving them from sin, he saves them from wrath and the curse, and all misery, here and hereafter. Christ came to save his people, not in their sins, but from their sins; and so to redeem them from among men, to himself, who is separate from sinners. Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, speedily, without delay, and cheerfully, without dispute. By applying the general rules of the written word, we should in all the steps of our lives,

particularly the great turns of them, take direction from God, and we shall find this safe and comfortable.

Christ's birth announced.

We have here an account of the mother of our Lord; though we are not to pray to her, yet we ought to praise God for her. Christ must be born miraculously. The angel's address means only, Hail, thou that art the especially chosen and favoured of the Most High, to attain the honour Jewish mothers have so long desired. This wondrous salutation and appearance troubled Mary. The angel then assured her that she had found favour with God, and would become the mother of a son whose name she

should call Jesus, the Son of the Highest, one in a nature and perfection with the Lord God. JESUS! the name that refreshes the fainting spirits of humbled sinners; sweet to speak and sweet to hear, Jesus, a Saviour! We know not his riches and our own poverty, therefore we run not to him; we perceive not that we are lost and perishing, therefore a Saviour is a word of little relish. Were we convinced of the huge mass of guilt that lies upon us, and the wrath that hangs over us for it, ready to

fall upon us, it would be our continual thought, Is the Saviour mine? And that we might find him so, we should trample on all that hinders our way to him. Mary's reply to the angel was the language of faith and humble admiration, and she asked no sign for the confirming her faith. Without controversy, great was the mystery of godliness, God manifest in the flesh, 1Ti 3:16. Christ's human nature must be produced so, as it was fit that should be which was

to be taken into union with the Divine nature. And we must, as Mary here, guide our desires by the word of God. In all conflicts, let us remember that with God nothing is impossible; and as we read and hear his promises, let us turn them into prayers, Behold the willing servant of the Lord; let it be unto me according to thy word. (Lu 1:39-56)

Return to The LORD!

Return to The LORD!
This is what the LORD Almighty says: Return to me! Seek the LORD, O people! Seek righteousness, seek humility; humble yourselves before me, do what I command. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. [Ps 34:18]
Let the LORD's peace rule over your hearts and testify in your hearts.Do not give the devil a foothold, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of GOD, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.( Eph 4:27-30)
The LORD gives this charge to those who minister to His Church : " Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place." [ Rev 2:5]
" If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here." [ Zec 3:7]
The savage wolves already come in among GOD's peoples and do not spare the flock. Even from the family of GOD, some arise and reject the truth and follow evil. They do not realize that GOD's kindness, tolerance and patience lead people toward repentance. They are storing up wrath against themselves for the day of GOD's wrath, when His righteous judgment will come.
Woe to those who cause to sin and divide and put obstacles in the way of GOD's peoples. Woe to those who are not serving our LORD CHRIST, but their own appetites. Woe to those who there is no fear of GOD before their eyes. Woe to those who are unfaithful and disobey GOD's commands.
The righteous GOD will give to each person according to what he has done. Repent and turn to GOD and prove your repentance by your deeds. Be clear minded and self-controlled and alert! Keep watch over yourselves and all flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the Church of GOD, which He bought with His own Blood. [Ac 20:28]
As you see the nations and the rulers gather together against the LORD, the severe trial is coming upon the whole world, you should know the time is near. The LORD is GOD, and holds the keys of death and Hades. Woe to those who do not accept the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST, the Savior of all mankind. " Therefore, you kings, be wise;be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling." [Ps 2:10,11]
Hear, O people, the LORD our GOD, the LORD is One. Now, He commands all peoples everywhere to repent, to return to Him! The blasphemous, the rebellious, the scoffers and all the evildoers will perish. The good news of the Kingdom of GOD is increasing and spreading, and you should make every effort to enter through the narrow door. Remember, the LORD had told us that many will try to enter and will not be able to.
The LORD had called and sent the Twelve to preach the Kingdom of GOD and to heal the sick. Then, they set out and went from village to village, preaching the Gospel and healing people everywhere. After this, the LORD appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go. He told them, " The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the LORD of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field." [Lk 10:2]
Now, the LORD commands all His saints to expand outreach into all the nations, preaching the Gospel and snatching the lost everywhere. He chose and appointed all His saints to go and bear fruit. Great are His purposes and mighty are His deeds. That all His saints would obey Him,take action!
May GOD's will be done for His Glory. In the Name of the LORD GOD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Gabriel Announcing The Child Unto Mary

Gabriel Announcing The Child Unto Mary : Scriptures: [ Luke 1:26-38]

46And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

49For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

50And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

51He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

53He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

54He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

55As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Closing Thoughts: Mary and her expected child were the most blessed and happy on her occasion of what was going to happen in her own life time and having such an influence of the Holy Ghost had given her joy, admiration of her coming child that was coming into the world.

God Wisdom

God's Word : Proverbs 28:25-26 (KJV):
25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Proverbs 28:25-26 (AMP):
25 He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife, but he who puts his trust in the Lord shall be enriched and blessed.
26 He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a (self-confident) fool, but he who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered.

Thoughts for the Day

These verses from Proverbs tell us that at the root of strife and self-confident foolishness is pride; however, those who trust in God and walk in His Wisdom will be delivered and prosper.

Verse 25 tells us that those who are prideful will stir up strife and controversy. The pride spoken of in this verse is referring to one being arrogant and haughty. If two people are unyielding and arrogant when they disagree about something, it will always produce contention and strife. If we desire to get along with others, we must humble ourselves, and not take the opinion that we are better or smarter than others. This verse says that if we are well advised, we will act in wisdom toward others. We will not act defiantly or condescendingly to others.

Proverbs 13:10: Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

As God's children, we must always act the way He would want us to act. This is not saying that we are to always take the position of being a "door mat." Sometimes the harder thing to do in a situation is to speak the truth in love, instead of trying to avoid a situation because we dread conflict. When we find ourselves in a situation of disagreement with others, we should seek God as to how He would have us to respond, in spite of how we might feel about the situation. If we feel we are being treated unfairly, the best way to see justice in our behalf is to love, forgive and do unto others, as we would have them do unto us. When we take this position and pray good prayers toward others, then God will defend us. We should never pray evil prayers toward those who oppose us. These kinds of prayers are not coming from the heart of God, but from our own flesh. When we are blessing others with our prayers and our thoughts, we are overcoming evil with good.

Verse 26 tells us that we are to lean on God and not rely on our own abilities. Certainly we are to use the gifts and abilities God has given us, but not outside of God's guidance. When we are "born again," we are given spiritual eyes to see things and understand things that otherwise we could not discern without the Holy Spirit. When we are submitted to the Lord, He then begins to guide and lead us by His Spirit; we follow Him in faith, knowing He will not disappoint us or lead us astray. We must learn to obey Him, even when we do not see or understand how He is leading.

If we want holy guidance, we must study the word of God and find out what God has to say about life and human experience, so that we can be guided by His Word. Neither my opinion, nor anyone else's opinions, are sufficient to solve the problems of humanity. The answers can only be found in God's Word. He is the Creator of all things, and He has the answers for His creation. He is the Judge and final authority on every subject. By keeping His Word and His commandments, we will not stumble, but will have light on our pathway of life; therefore,we should make it a priority to understand His ways and learn of His wisdom.

Since God requires us to walk in faith and trust Him, the only way to receive faith is through surrender to Him, and the only way for our faith to grow is by hearing the Word of God. When we hear from Jesus (Who is Faith) then our faith grows. We can hear from God in many different ways, but one of the main ways is by reading the Bible and listening to His voice when we pray.

Romans 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We must have faith in God to please Him. The Word of God states that "whatsoever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23b). Some people refer to Christians as having "blind faith," but our faith is not a blind faith; it is faith in a very real person, Jesus Christ. We were blind before our eyes were opened to His love and forgiveness, but now we see Him and a new life and world belong to us. When the Holy Spirit leads us, there is never a "dead end" street with God, even if it might look like that from our perspective. Because God is God, He can take us around any obstacle; if not around it, He will take us over it, under it, or through it. Nothing is impossible with God! Remember His specialty is MIRACLES! We are limited, but He is unlimited! We only limit Him when we do not trust and obey Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6:
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, You are such an awesome God! Lord, help me to remember all the things You have done for me in the past, when I am tempted to doubt in my present difficult situation. Help me to daily walk in faith and to always trust You, and not lean unto my own understanding. Deliver me from pride and fear, as these twin evils are aimed at destroying my faith. Give me a love for reading the Bible and open my understanding to the things You desire to reveal to me in Your Word; and then, Lord, give me the grace to obey all that You speak to me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

10And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

11The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

12And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

13And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

14And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

The planting of the garden of Eden.

The place fixed upon for Adam to dwell in, was not a palace, but a garden. The better we take up with plain things, and the less we seek things to gratify pride and luxury, the nearer we approach to innocency. Nature is content with a little, and that which is most natural; grace with less; but lust craves every thing, and is content with nothing. No delights can be satisfying to the soul, but those which God himself has provided and appointed for it. Eden signifies delight and

pleasure. Wherever it was, it had all desirable conveniences, without any inconvenience, though no other house or garden on earth ever was so. It was adorned with every tree pleasant to the sight, and enriched with every tree that yielded fruit grateful to the taste and good for food. God, as a tender Father, desired not only Adam's profit, but his pleasure; for there is pleasure with innocency, nay there is true pleasure only in innocency. When Providence puts us in a place of plenty and

pleasure, we ought to serve God with gladness of heart in the good things he gives us. Eden had two trees peculiar to itself. 1. There was the tree of life in the midst of the garden. Of this man might eat and live. Christ is now to us the Tree of life, Re 2:7; 22:2; and the Bread of life, Joh 6:48, 51. 2. There was the tree of the

knowledge of good and evil, so called because there was a positive revelation of the will of God about this tree, so that by it man might know moral good and evil. What is good? It is good not to eat of this tree. What is evil? It is evil to eat of this tree. In these two trees God set before Adam good and evil, the blessing and the curse. (Ge 2:15) Ideal River of Salvation : 1Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. 2Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.Ezekiel 47:1,2 3And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

4Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

5Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

6And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

7Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

8Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

10And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

11But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

12And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.Ezekiel 47:3-12

Insights: These waters signify the gospel of Christ, which went forth from Jerusalem, and spread into the countries about; also the gifts and powers of the Holy Ghost which accompanied it, by virtue of which is spread far, and produced blessed effects. Christ is the Temple; and he is the Door; from him the living waters flow, out of his pierced side. They are increasing waters. Observe the progress of the gospel in the world, and the process of the work of grace in the heart; attend the motions of the blessed Spirit under Divine guidance. If we search into the things of God, we find some things plain and easy to be understood, as the waters that were but to the ankles; others more difficult, which require a deeper search, as the waters to the knees, or the loins; and some quite beyond our reach, which we cannot penetrate; but must, as St. Paul did, adore the depth, [Rom 11]. It is wisdom to begin with that which is most easy, before we proceed to that which is dark and hard to be understood. The promises of the sacred word, and the privileges of believers, as shed abroad in their souls by the quickening Spirit, abound where the gospel is preached; they nourish and delight the souls of men; they never fade nor wither, nor are exhausted. Even the leaves serve as medicines to the soul: the warnings and reproofs of the word, though less pleasant than Divine consolations, tend to heal the diseases of the soul. All who believe in Christ, and are united to him by his sanctifying Spirit, will share the privileges of Israelites. There is room in the church, and in heaven, for all who seek the blessings of that new covenant of which Christ is Mediator.
River Of Life : 1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1,2 Insights :

A description of the heavenly state, under the figures of the water and the tree of life, and of the throne of God and the Lamb.

All streams of earthly comfort are muddy; but these are clear, and refreshing. They give life, and preserve life, to those who drink of them, and thus they will flow for evermore. These point to the quickening and sanctifying influences of the Holy Spirit, as given to sinners through Christ. The Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, applies this salvation to our souls by his new-creating love and power. The trees of life are fed by the pure waters of the river that

comes from the throne of God. The presence of God in heaven, is the health and happiness of the saints. This tree was an emblem of Christ, and of all the blessings of his salvation; and the leaves for the healing of the nations, mean that his favour and presence supply all good to the inhabitants of that blessed world. The devil has no power there; he cannot draw the saints from serving God, nor can he disturb them in the service of God. God and the Lamb are here spoken of as one. Service there

shall be not only freedom, but honour and dominion. There will be no night; no affliction or dejection, no pause in service or enjoyment: no diversions or pleasures or man's inventing will there be wanted. How different all this from gross and merely human views of heavenly happiness, even those which refer to pleasures of the mind! (Rev 22:6-19) Holy Holy Is Our Lord God Almighty : Rev.4:11 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. The Bottomline is: All true believers wholly ascribe their redemption and conversion, their present privileges and future hopes, to the eternal and most holy God. Thus rise the for-ever harmonious, thankful songs of the redeemed in heaven. Would we on earth do like them, let our praises be constant, not interrupted; united, not divided; thankful, not cold and formal; humble, not self-confident. Committing To Jesus Prayer in Being An Overcomer united In Me By The Power Of The Holy Spirit: Lord Jesus, I commit my life to You totally, spirit, soul, and body. I ask that You bend, break, and mold me into the person that You want me to be. Lord, teach me to trust in You and to live and walk by faith in You and Your Word. I commit to You, Lord, to take accountability and responsibility in my walk with You and Your Word. No more will the enemy’s devices and the deceptions of the old man easily sway me. I purpose to firmly fix my eyes and heart on You, Lord, totally today. I press, push and apprehend all that you have for me today, keeping in the back of my remembrance that the enemy loves a lazy or slothful mind. satan, I come against you and all hosts of hell and I reject everything that you would have for me today. satan, I refuse all snares, pits, and traps that you have set to draw me away from my Lord Jesus Christ. I rebuke you, satan, and all your hosts in the name of Jesus from every assignment you have assigned against me or my family, my property, my health and my finances. Father I ask and believe for Your best in my life today and that Your will and purposes be done in and through me. I also ask that You keep me in Your perfect will and make me a yielded vessel fit for Your work today. I place myself under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust", for I chose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. In Jesus Name, amen. Lord Jesus, I commit my life to You totally, spirit, soul, and body. I ask that You bend, break, and mold me into the person that You want me to be. Thanksgivng Blessings

I AM THANKFUL

I am thankful I can walk;

there are those who have never taken their first step.

I am thankful I can see the beauty all around me;

there are those whose world is always dark.

I am thankful I can hear music playing;

there are those who entire life has been spent in silence.

I am thankful my heart can be broken;

there are those who are so hardened they cannot be touched.

I am thankful I can move about freely and express my beliefs;

there are those who live in constant fear.

I am thankful I have been loved;

there are those for whom no one has ever cared. I am thankful to wake up in the morning and take a deep breath of fresh air;

there are those who never got that far.

I am thankful for the opportunity to help others;

there are those who have not been so abundantly blessed as I.
I am thankful for a home to rest my head for there are those whom have No home to call their own whom sleep where they find rest for a night to call a home.

To be able to help others in seeing those lives change before us as we have had to do the same simliar things in our life. In helping to see that others may be in need instead of our own needs . Knowing that Jesus Christ had taken all of those blows that had been ment for us and in Thanking Him for what He has done for all mankind upon this earth. That when we do take them that He had too. No matter what kind of blows that we had taken rather spiritual, mental, physcial that we sustain it with forgivness, love, and mercy that only comes from the Lord and He is always my example in my own life. He didn't even threaten to be getting even to those whom deeply hurt him, and speard him, just tearing Him down to the core of His being. He prayed for them through His wounded skin, heart, and from the depths of His soul in asking His father to forgive them. He just left His case in the hands of His father whom always judges fairly in His Son's behalf. We are thankful for what is shown unto us from the Master Himself. That we can share in God's Glory one day in heading Home to always being with Him and all the treasures He will be giving unto us one day soon.
Prayer: My Dear Heavenly Father, as we approach this day set aside to give thanks for all the blessings that You have given to us, help us to remember the most important blessings... The blessings of Family, The strength of Friendship, the joy of Life, and the Peace in You. Help us to remember to give thanks not only on this day, but everyday. Help us, also, to remember that the gifts You have given to us were meant to be shared with others. Lord, I love you and I thank you for my life. Lord Jesus, help me to accept your rule in every corner in my life. May I have in me the same values and outlook as are in you.Let me imitate you in my conduct and love my neighbour as you love them. Make me sensitive to the sorrowful and unfortunate, and generous in helping others where possible.Banish from my life every allegiance which is contrary to your gentlebut truthful rule that you've have laid before us in obedience always unto you in my life. For I am In a covenant unto You which has made me whole, justified, made righteous, just as I've never sinned. I'm sactified, made holy, set apart for always being in being used by the Master's use.I've been redeemed, cleansed and sactified spirit, soul, body because all that He's given me is those gifts that had been given by the master. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Thankfulness

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:1 (KJV)

You are safe when you have decided to go with Jesus. Let's dissect Psalm 91:1 to see a more in-depth meaning. The Old Testament was originally written in the Hebrew language. So we will look at the Hebrew definition of this text.

"Dwelleth" means to sit down, to remain, to settle. The Hebrew word "secret" is a covering place, a hiding place, and a place of protection. The word "place" means standing, locality or condition. So when you are talking about the secret place you are talking about the location, a secret condition, as well as a standing with God. We see the two words, "most high." The word "most" means supreme; uppermost. The word "high" means safe, strong, too strong. God is too strong.

In light of the original Hebrew text, we can read it this way: He that dwelleth in the supreme uppermost, safe, strong and too strong God, shall abide... That word, abide means to stay permanently. This is not something that you are in and out of. You backslide today and then you are back with God next week. He's talking about an individual who has made a decision to be with Jesus on the winning side.

Further, the word "shadow" means defense, not just shade. People think of shadow in terms of a natural shadow. But shadow here means defense. He shall abide in the defense of the Almighty, the powerful and impregnable one. That word "under" also means with. So he shall abide with the defense of the powerful and impregnable one. Now after studying this text according to the Hebrew definitions, allow me to write Psalm 91 in the "Butler" translation:

He that sits down in the protection, standing and condition of the supreme safe and strong one shall stay permanently with the defense of the powerful and impregnable one.

When you are settled in God's will you can give God thanks for His divine protection with God as your defense.

God's Hands & Heart

6And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.Isaiah 49:6

5And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:5

26My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Proverbs 23:26
23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23
4That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.1 Kings 2:4

The Bottomline:

The great Author of redemption shows the authority for his work. The sword of his word slays the lusts of his people, and all at enmity with them. His sharp arrows wound the conscience; but all these wounds will be healed, when the sinner prays to him for mercy. But even the Redeemer, who spake as never man spake in his personal ministry, often seemed to labour in vain. And if Jacob will not be brought back to God, and Israel will not be gathered, still Christ will be glorious. This promise is in part fulfilled in the calling of the Gentiles. Men perish in darkness. But Christ enlightens men, and so makes them holy and happy. Isaiah 49:1-6

Those who are far apart still may meet together at the throne of grace; and those not able to do or receive any other kindness, may in this way do and receive real and very great kindness. Enemies to the preaching of the gospel, and persecutors of its faithful preachers, are unreasonable and wicked men. Many do not believe the gospel; and no wonder if such are restless and show malice in their endeavours to oppose it. The evil of sin is the greatest evil, but there are other evils we

need to be preserved from, and we have encouragement to depend upon the grace of God. When once the promise is made, the performance is sure and certain. The apostle had confidence in them, but that was founded upon his confidence in God; for there is otherwise no confidence in man. He prays for them for spiritual blessings. It is our sin and our misery, that we place our affections upon wrong objects. There is not true love of God, without faith in Jesus Christ. If, by the special grace of God, we have that faith which multitudes have not, we should earnestly pray that we may be enabled, without reserve, to obey his commands, and that we may be enabled, without reserve, to the love of God, and the patience of Christ. (2Th 3:6-15)

The gracious Saviour who purchased pardon and peace for his people, with all the affection of a tender parent, counsels us to hear and be wise, and is ready to guide our hearts in his way. Here we have an earnest call to young people, to attend to the advice of their godly parents. If the heart be guided, the steps will be guided. Buy the truth, and sell it not; be willing to part with any thing for it. Do not part with it for pleasures, honours, riches, or any thing in this world.

The heart is what the great God requires. We must not think to divide the heart between God and the world; he will have all or none. Look to the rule of God's word, the conduct of his providence, and the good examples of his people. Particular cautions are given against sins most destructive to wisdom and grace in the soul. It is really a shame to make a god of the belly. Drunkenness stupifies men, and then all goes to ruin. Licentiousness takes away the heart that should be given to God. Take heed of any approaches toward this sin, it is very hard to retreat from it. It bewitches men to their ruin. (Pr 23:29-35)

The way of evil men may seem pleasant, and the nearest way to compass some end; but it is an evil way, and will end ill; if thou love thy God and thy soul, avoid it. It is not said, Keep at a due distance, but at a great distance; never think you can get far enough from it. The way of the righteous is light; Christ is their Way, and he is the Light. The saints will not be perfect till they reach heaven, but there they shall shine as the sun in his strength. The way of sin is as

darkness. The way of the wicked is dark, therefore dangerous; they fall into sin, but know not how to avoid it. They fall into trouble, but never seek to know wherefore God contends with them, nor what will be in the end of it. This is the way we are bid to shun. Attentive hearing the word of God, is a good sign of a work of grace begun in the heart, and a good means of carrying it on. There is in the word of God a proper remedy for all diseases of the soul. Keep thy heart with all diligence.

We must set a strict guard upon our souls; keep our hearts from doing hurt, and getting hurt. A good reason is given; because out of it are the issues of life. Above all, we should seek from the Lord Jesus that living water, the sanctifying Spirit, issuing forth unto everlasting life. Thus we shall be enabled to put away a froward mouth and perverse lips; our eyes will be turned from beholding vanity, looking straight forward, and walking by the rule of God's word, treading in the steps of our

Lord and Master. Lord, forgive the past, and enable us to follow thee more closely for the time to come.Proverbs 4:23

David's charge to Solomon is, to keep the charge of the Lord. The authority of a dying father is much, but nothing to that of a living God. God promised David that the Messiah should come from his descendants, and that promise was absolute; but the promise, that there should not fail of them a man on the throne of Israel, was conditional; if he walks before God in sincerity, with zeal and resolution: in order hereunto, he must take heed to his way. (1Ki 2:5-11)

God is exalted, and Your Word (Jesus) is Lord in my life!Father, I covenant with You to be what You say I am. Even though I may not look like it. I may not always act like it.
